YAY! So thrilled to hear its all good. Hope you havent spent too much on 0000 clothes then? LOL
A friend of mine had a big 10 pounder who was all arms and legs so he wasnt a massive challenge to push out - just very very tall. So that could be how it is for you too. She is like 5 foot nothing. I am sure you will do well.
Also relieved to find out that my whining and whinging about my insanely sore rib was the right thing to do. Becuase all the amniotic fluid is all on one side of the baby, there is nothing but a bit of uterus between its bum and my rib.
It doesn't make me feel any better about the pain, but at least they know I wasn't faking it!
Angela,
Just saw this post and wanted to let you know that i am relieved for you.
If in doubt over ANYTHING go and get it checked out, yes it may be a false alarm, but the relief tat you feel afterwards is so much better than spending days wondering if there is something is wrong.
I found that in my last weeks i would have long periods of no movements and then in the evenings she would go nuts inside me.
Take care and do ever feel silly for asking for some medical advise if you ae worried.
take care
I'm so glad you went and everything is ok. From my experience they want to check out these things so try not to feel embarrassed about ringing and talking to the midwives at the hospital, especially as you get closer to the birth. They don't mind taking your call and letting you know what to do or not do.
Thats great news Amanda
I went in for scans all the time for lack of movement, I had lots of fluid, and anterior placenta, and a rather big baby too. Not probs getting him out though, very minor first degree tear but I was on my back. Wishing you well for the rest of you pg & your birth
So glad to hear that everything is okay Good on you for going in and getting everything checked out! I hope you are having a great weekend knowing that your baby is doing really well .
