    Unhappy Bubba goes Transverse

As the title says, my bubba is transverse.. Well not at the moment but he does go from head down to transverse quite often and OMG it HURTS.
What happens today when i go see my GP and she says "get ready for a c/s"? I am scared. I dont ever want a c/s.
    I am 36 weeks today!!

Hi scorpiomum, check out the spinning babies website. Shows you hoe to use your body to get optimal baby positioning. Try not to worry too much, a positive frame of mind always helps.

Be persistant, always sit forward down lie back on couch etc, etc, it wont work overnight. You still have a few weeks up your sleeve. There are other things you can try, but i'm not sure of the specifics, someone else will pop in i am sure.

You'll probably find the thing they'll be more concerned about with a transverse bub at this stage is cord prolapse. If your water breaks while baby is transverse the risk of prolapse is one to consider.
I had this situation with my second child and I was told that if he wasn't head down properly by 35 weeks I should think about going into hospital - but this was only because my first labour started with waters breaking at 36 weeks. So I wouldn't imagine it would be an issue so early for women who don't have a history of early-ish labour.
Being transverse, your bub is halfway to head down already (and if as you say he alternates still he will most likely get his head down in time for you to avoid a c/s)

Re the spinning babies stuff - you need to do the exercises persistently a few times a day and sometimes it can take quite a few weeks. Keep at it
