I know there are quite a few of us out there that have decided to wait until birth for the big gender surprise. I waited with both BUT did have sex written down and sealed in an envelope to open after birth to see if they were right!!


My big question to all of you is.... Did you ever had any concerns about the long wait? Nope never I loved the idea of a surprise at end of labour!


Did you ever swing or hope for one way or the other?
 Yes 2nd time round I hoped for a girl.

Were you ever worried that you might end up ever so slightly disappointed at the outcome? Yes I was and when DH said its a big boy at the CS I was disapointed for a nano second and then was just happy we had a healthy live baby.


If you had gender dreams, what gender did you dream and what did you end up having? I didn't have dreams but felt all along was a boy both times.


Did you ever get sick of the constant whinging from other people about them wanting to know?
Nah, that s their problem. and to be honest most friends also had not found out sex helps working in mid.

With names, did you ever want another bub just because you think both the chosen boy and girl name was just perfect? Nope I loved both our names each time so not issue.

Was there difficulty knowing what to buy for bub, especially if there was a sale on, especially since gender neutral items seem to be rather difficult to come by these days?
 No as I bought all neautral newnorn things anyway.
