I will get up, walk around for a minute or 2, and then sit down with my legs raised in the recliner.....

I find that if DP or I poke or prod him, then I think he notices these and s intrigued or something and tends not to move.

I agree that if you get really worried, call the hospital and head in. Better to be safe than sorry!
