i have had constipation on and off throughout this pregnancy and i have maintained a very good fibre diet and it's been working well except maybe the odd occasion, but yesterday i noticed my bowel motions were quite painful and now i have pretruding haemerroids.
i've read this is a very common prob during pregnancy so what can i use to get rid of them. i am utterley embarresed, not to mention i have a 36wk anti natal appoint next week with a new dr and would love them gone by them (ha ha ok maybe not possible) but i'm worried about giving birth and having them...
LOTS of warm water running over them in the shower, more more more fibre to the point where you hardly have to work at all to poo. That way they don't get stressed. Sorry!
Not sure about fixing them but to avoid them start taking Fybogel. You get it from the chemist. It's safe to take while pregnant and breastfeeding. I had it recommended to me by a midwife after giving birth to get things going again & to avoid them.
I got them in the last few weeks of my pregnancy too, they say they are meant to go after your bubs arrives and your body gets back to normal.............. I still have it and its more painful now than when i was pregnant???? Yep they are embarrassing hahaha what us women do huh
