I had something similar happen the other day. I got out of the bath on Friday and a few minutes later felt this big gush of water over the floor. I wasn't sure if it was waters breaking or just what had accumulated during the bath. I rang the hospital and they said just to keep an eye on it and see if I had lost anymore in the next hour. It's now Wednesday so I'm guessing I was just full of bath water.

I asked the midwife who ran our ante-natal classes if it was possible that someones waters could break in the shower, and not notice it, and she just looked at me weirdly - I never knew until it was happening to me that you keep leaking and leaking...

I didn't think it was that weird a question, its not as if I'd ever experienced it before, but then she still never explained that you keep leaking until it is all over...

My waters broke in the shower and boy did I ever know about it. There was a big gush and I heard the water hit the floor and could see a little blood streaked in it and the contractions about tripled in intensity (mind you, I was already in full on labour by that stage) so I guess it depends how your waters break if it trickles or gushes...
