How Early did you go before your due date?

Just thought i would post a post asking people how early they went into labour before their due date. I am pregnant with number two at 35weeks, I went 1 week early with my daughter and hoping to go early with this one too.

    Hi Ange,

I had Amy 3 weeks and 2 days early. Bit of a shock that's for sure and quite stressful as she was so sleepy and jaundiced. But all is well now and we've just got our first big smiles!! :-)

I had Oscar 1 week (to the day) early. My waters broke on the Wednesday though and I was induced on the Friday as I had not gone into labour.

Marisa was 3 days early and then Elijah was 7 or 9 days I think.

    Both were spontaneous labours.

Studies have shown first pregnancies have a longer gestation, on average 40w8d, and second are less than that, but with the induction rate in this country, the average gestation is 39 weeks.
