    Thanks ladies

Hmmm. OK I have only one 00000 outfit that was given to us.

I guess I'll take the tags off everything, wash it all and if we need 00000's then I'll send DP and my mum out to buy & wash them. We're in hospital for 5 days, so will the clothes be really important in there?

I also bought myself a new pair of PJ's (flanno cow print with an orange singlet shirt) and a crop top bra to labour in.

Nah, if you haven't got the right size you can always keep him/her in the stunning hospital 'robe' thing while you run out and get what you need

Sounds cool - love the sound of the jammies!

ETA: You'll get heaps of pressies too, don't forget
We haven't had to buy any clothes for Natalie yet, and she's a couple of months old already!

OMG...I saw them and had to hold back...I'm a cow freak and have them all over the place...rofl.

As for bubs size clothes, I had the same dilemma you were having. I ended up buying an 8 piece outfit (so has pants, shirt, long jumpsuit, short jumpsuit, hat, booties, jacket and something else...lol) and a couple of long sleeved short leg jumpsuits and a bonds wondersuit all in 0000. I had 000 which have been given to me but I haven't packed any of those but if I need then DH can bring to hospital after. I soooo couldn't work it out but as a rough guide the bonds clothes say 3kg on their 0000 size and 6kg on 000! I got given 000 singlets but haven't bought smaller cos the bottom can be folded up or tucked in anyway

Yesterday's ultrasound midwife told us we can expect a baby between 3.4 and 3.6kgs with long legs if he keeps going along his current rate of growth and is born on his due date, so I guess he'll only be in 0000's for a very short while if at all. I think we only have 3 or so things in 0000. I've bought most stuff in size 000 or 00 planning for when he's a few months old but I'm also expecting that we'll get masses of stuff as gifts (first grandbaby all round) and a girlfriend is throwing all of her hand me downs my way so I'm going to take it easy with shopping and buying more stuff.
