    Please explain what this is

Ok after going to the loo beacause i felt wet, i had this blobby snotty looking thing on my underwear. Its even the same colour as snot!! When you touch it, its bouncy. I didn't have this with my first so just wondering - what the.

I see the midwives tomorrow so will asking them, but would like to ease my mind before hand.

It does sound like it could be your plug, but might also just be an increase in CM.

Some women can loose theirs gradually over a long period of time, some without even noticing it. And others loose it all at once. But don't worry, it doesn't mean that labour is about to start. Some women don't go into labour for weeks and weeks after loosing their plug.

Your plug can actually replenish itself as well, so I wouldn't begin to worry about pre-term labour as yet, but it is definatly something worth reporting to your midwife next time you see her.

Or it could be an increase in cervical mucas, that is common in late pregnancy.

    Hope this helps.

    All the best

It could also just be an increase in discharge... With my DS i had nothing until the end (which was my plug) this time TMI**** i've been getting alot of clear to off whiteish discharge... My GP said it was normal and lots of women get it... It feels discusting and is quite embarrasing to even mention.

I've been wearing a liner, if there is no blood then i'd say its normal...

If your worried just as the MW... Goodluck

Does it have any bits of blood in it? If so then yeh maybe your plug, but otherwise i really wouldnt jump to that conclusion and panic yourself! Have you DTD recently? I think its a common thing to get what youre describing after DTD. I have already this pregnancy had the same thing and i know others in my BB group have also.
Of course tell your midwife, but i really wouldnt worry too much.. it could just be a clump of CM.
