    Raspberry leaf - tea/tablet - any experiences?

    Hi Everybody,
I am relatively new here, I am into my 38 week.
I wanted to know experiences with raspberry leaf tea or tablet, even though this question should be asked after birth.
I hear all kinds of stories about this, most recently my girlfriend said that after drinking the first cup of tea her water broke and she went into labor. Well, that's what I am trying no to do. Do you feel any changes while taking this? Which is better, the tea or tablet? With the tablet my other concern is that it suggests such a big quantity to take (12-15/day??) So how many can you actually take safely?
I asked my doctor and he said that there is no medical reason to take it but he is being asked a lot about them and if I wanted to take them I can...
I am looking forward to all answers and suggestions, and I wish a short and joyful labor to everybody!

Hi Barb, I'm not at your stage in pregnancy yet, but I attend yoga classes, and we had a naturopath come in and discuss RLT and stuff with us, and she said that the tea is better than the tablets because they lose some of the good chemicals in them when going through the process of making them into tablets. She advised us to drink the tea a few times a day before and after birth. Hope this helps!!!!
