Swollen Vagina Pains!!!

Hey guys,

I've had these pains in my vaginal lips, they're swollen and the pain is like a dull ache. It hurts all the time and when i stand for too long it gets real painful. They're so swollen that after i pee when i wipe myself it feels real strange.
I have spd (pelvic disorder) but i dont think that has anything to do with it. Is this normal and is it just my baby engaging?

Im 36 weeks. How will i know if my bub has engaged?


Any suggestions its getting too uncomfortable to do anything.

I think your vagina symptoms are telling me that your baby is very engaged hense all the swelling and strange sensations.

Your swollen vagina lips is caused by the increase in your blood volume and the increase in blood supply to your vagina. At 36 week the amount of blood in your body has increased by about 80%. This amount of blood will now slowly start to decrease as your pregnancy progresses and you may notice a slight reduction in the swelling.

Frankie, perfectly normal!! I had this too around the same time and it was so painful sometimes it's increased blood flow!
