Charlyfrog.......sweets, glad I gave you a giggle! The car: bizarre........DH left the window open to "dry it out" (the seat and the floor of the passenger seat were soaked). He then left the car window open for about 4 days and drove my car (as I was in hospital).
When he finally went to use his car again he was dreading it, as we were convinced it would smell and/or the upholstery would've perished........NOPE! It was as if it had never happened.......
(My beautiful shoes, however, were a total write off.......leather and amniotic fluid are NOT compatible!)
To be honest, the waters breaking thing.....at the risk of sounding sick, I really loved it.......it is absolute confirmation that its all happening.......that is the point with both Charlie and Lexie that I actually FELT like I was in labour. It was exciting..........you'll be the same hon, I'm sure.........
(With Olivia, she was my first, I had NFI.....my little splosh happened at 9am and I didn't even call the hospital till 1pm.....just kept whinging to Kelly on MSN that I had "really bad period pains in my back". Ermmmmm, that's labour Lucy.......LOL!)
Here's to an inner laughing labour party for you: xx
