we moved out of home when i was about 32 weeks. i washed everything before we moved out - only because i wanted to unpack and be able to put all her things straight into the drawers etc ready to wear!!

i bought up to size one when i was pg, so i washed and then packed in sizes, to make it easier to see what we had, and if we needed anything!

i did all the bunny rugs and cradle sheets & new blankets once we had moved into our place.

    its such an exciting time!!

I am doing the same only the weeny stuff is getting washed, and I am not buying a great deal of clothes and jumpsuits for him yet until we see how big he is, but I have plenty for him from my last one. My last one I brought

I'm 37 weeks and have only washed some hospital outfits as I'm scared we'll have a boy (20 week scan said a girl) and I'll have to exchange everything I've bought!!!!

We're also still renovating our bathroom so the house is covered in tile dust and I'm going crazy waiting to scrub the whole house clean.

    She definately can't come early!!!!

Probably about 4 weeks ago I washed all of bub's baby clothes and did blankets, sheets and wraps last weekend. Just have to iron the wraps ready for use. I can't sleep at the moment so thinking I will do that now.

I washed when the weather was finally good in Sydney!!! At about 27-28 weeks i think, but i also know there is a higher risk of me having the babies early. Everything is made up and clothes are packed away in draws. Its just one less thing to have to worry about doing, and if i buy new clothes, i just wash them as i get them! GL.

I'm just about ready to wash the baby's things and my MIL told me to use Lux Flakes - so I bought a box ($7!!) and after I got it home I read the box that said 'only to be used with top loading washing machines'. I have a front loader and am wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem?

What did you all use to wash the babies things? Did anyone use Lux? Do you know why you can't use it in a front loader?

I'm confused I thought I was nearly ready to do the washing, but now I don't know how to proceed!

Any help or advice would be appreciated.
