We buy lots of the basics there, like tinned tomatoes, tuna, butter, cheese. They also have a lot of organic products cheaper than normal branded products in other supermarkets.. (if still prefer buying organic for DD, but not as pedantic now).
we are going there tomorrow, so I will take notice of what we actually buy.. But I do know that I am always suprised at the lower total price for what we have..
i do almost all my shopping at aldi, i was a bit snobby at first, but now i love it, i do a bulk shop every fortnight and it saves me an absolute fortune. i think the quality is great - except the flavoured tuna, but i'm picky about that - and the price is amazing.
Sorry to hijack but I was wondering if they have an organic range? I have been impressed with Coles homebrand organic but I would consider going to aldi if they were doing the same sort of thing...
Aldi is becoming so popular here in big country town Ballarat they have opened THREE Aldi's in under 2years
I honestly can't see how different the effort would be in checking for additives on items at Aldi as to what it would be at other leading supermarkets.
Yeh, you will find some products at Aldi that are not that great BUT that goes for the same at leading supermarkets once again ... BUT geez, the prices$$ at Aldi are just FANTASTIC ... There are lots of items from Aldi i just love
I have in the past & someone else did too start a thread on what is everyone's favourite Aldi products. It was brilliant trying products on the recommendations of other fellow BB's
