Just thought i'd past on a tip regarding increasing the nutrient/fibre content of your bread or pizza dough. I normally use 1/2 wholemeal and 1/2 plain flour.

I have added the following sucessfully to my bread dogh. Use one, two or all!
- 2 tablespoon of flax seeds
- 2 tablespoons of wheat germ
- 1/2 cup rolled oats (they kinda dissolve into the bread you don't get great hunks of oat)
- 2 tablespoons cornmeal/polenta
- 1/2 cup prepared bulgar wheat or wheat berries



Have a go and see if you like it.

In my last batch of bread dough (made into rolls to be served with a BBQ), I added all of the above AND 4 cloves of roasted garlic. It was delish! I called it my roasted garlic multigrain bread.
