Could make a chicken pie? Add some diced or shredded chicken and herbs, season and pop a pastry lid on top. Could even cheat and use a bbq chicken for a super quick dinner.
Omg I am so doing this for tea! Yummo!

I was going to suggest a casserole or something...put in the slow cooker with some chicken drumsticks?

    Thanks girls! Sound good.

Soooooo for use in casseroles I just pop it in the slowie add more water I am guessing and that's it................????????

    I like the sauce idea!

I was speaking with a gf this week and she said to also buy a cooked chook, dice it up and add it to the soup then heat through so it is a very chunky soup and that way the kids won't screw their noses up at a 'soup' but think it is just chciken with a suace mixed through rather than poured over it...!! Thought I would share that one with you.

You know I probably wouldn't worry about adding more water in the slow cooker. the soup should add enough liquid I would think. the chunky soup idea is great too, DF screws his nose up at 'runny' soup too

sometimes when I have no idea what to cook, I chuck stuff into the slow cooker and instead of using stock, I use whatever soup is in my pantry... chicken with vegies and this tin of soup sound fantastic!

My favourite recipe from the 4 ingredients cookbook - 4 chicken breasts, 4 slices Jarlsberg, 1 can of chicken'n'mushroom soup. Stick the breasts in the casserole dish, lay one slice of Jarlsberg over each breast (chicken, not yours ) and then pour the whole can of soup over the top, and stick in the oven for around an hour?? Until its cooked anyways. Scrumdidlyumptiousness!
