    Interesting sandwich fillings

I'm looking for some more ideas for my sandwiches. I love some basics, like chicken and avocado, but also like some strange combinations. Get ready to go "eeewww" if you like - here are a couple of my favs:

    - cream cheese, turkey, cranberry sauce, pineapple and alfalfa OR
    - hommus, cheese, ham and pickled onions

What are some other interesting ideas?

    Oohhh, my FAVOURITE is...

Semi-dried tomato and onion (not basil) tuna (Greenseas I think) mixed with Phillie, red onions and cheese in a roll and then melted. Or in a toasted sandwhich - OMG they are soooo good!

The tuna and phille mix is great for a dip too - any flavour tuna but I love the SD toms and onion.

    Hey Melanie

    Thanks for asking...

    Yep...still waiting...1 week overdue now.

Unfortunately baby hasn't engaged at all and cervix is tightly shut!

My Ob. (who is very pro-VD) is not wanting to do an induction as he feels that it will end up a failed induction...so...he's actually recommending a c/s, which is unlike him...but I may well be having tomorrow!!! Not exactly as I imagined, but I'm now at the point where I just want to have a healthy baby (especially after waiting for 3 years for this little one!)...so am feeling okay...really trust my Ob...and are trusting my instincts that this is the right decision for me...

    So...hopefully tomorrow!

All the very best Monnie. I'm glad you have faith in your ob and are comfortable with the recommendation. I can't wait to read the birth annoncement.

Wow you guys like some strange sandwiches.

I've heard that the "Elvis" is really good though I have not tried it yet - peanut butter, honey, banana and bacon. I've only had it without the bacon.

My all time favourite sandwhcih is turkey, havarti, tomato, sprouts, and plain potato chips (on a squishy white bun).
