I love inari as well, but I prefer the plain ones. I am depressed, as far as I can tell there is no decent sushi down this wayMay have to consider making my own.

I love tuna and cucumber so maybe I'll start with that! Ok dumb questions coming: how do you make sushi rice? and where do you get seaweed sheets/bamboo roller, do I need to find an asian grocery store or can you get in regular supermarket?
I make up some sushi rice and then i add some white sugar and some vinegar.
My friend found out from a place thats what they add by pretending she had allergies. It makes the rice taste creamy for some reason.
I also saw these sushi makers at some homewares shop, where the cylinder comes apart in centre for you to make the perfect roll, and then it pushes it out onto the seaweed sheet for you. Almost looked like one of those icing decorators.
Really wanted it, but they were $30 and Dh said noway cos i hardly ever make sushi, despite loving it to pieces! I replied if i had it i would make it more often, but he didn't buy that excuse... someday i'll sneak back to southland and buy it when he's not there!
Safeway normally have a good stock of sushi mats, seaweed, sushi rice etc. I assume Coles and other supermarkets do too, you probbably dont have to go anywhere more specialised.
ok thanks I'll check out the supermarket - hhhmm wish I had some right now.
