There are little old ladies selling baby clothes around here still
Lolly gobble bliss bombs and those crystal things that you put in your mouth and they popped until eventually they became chewing gum!

Just popping in to say that my local Coles stocks both ovaltines and lolly gobble bliss bombs![]()
Yum!
Toobs are great! And they still taste like they use to! I swear milky way bars have gotten smaller??! Or maybe I just got bigger! And thank the lord curly wurlys and chomps have stayed the same! I do miss the "facts or jokes" that used to be on the packets of the curly wurlys.. I miss the days where u could buy "fags" the "fads" taste different and I miss the sherbets they where in a orange packet with the white bit in the middle![]()
Oh yeah! Sherbert bombs!
Sherbert bombs are still around. I just bought some off eBay.
I miss those giant gobstoppers. I see them from time to time but where we caught the bus for school there was a milk bar that sold then for $1. We'd still be sucking in them by the time we got off the bus at the other end of the day. School banned them during classes in the end.
Does anyone remember when milkshakes were hard and chewy? Sherbies, too.
Ooh! Pink panther bars! I would make one last all day
I loved muncheros!!
And I loved potatoes and more , as a kid ha ha .. Those plastic potatoes in the packet you microwave , like a little potato bake ..""please sir can I have some more "
I think I've discovered what they were! I googled and found a similar thread to this one on whirlpool and someone mentioned them - chicken cackles and bbq cackles![]()
I miss the old warheads.
The ones they have nowadays just aren't the same.
Pocket rockets.
Being able to get 3 lollies for 2c at the corner store.
Shrinking chip packets in the oven and turning them into broaches.
Going to the markets and all the stalls actually being homemade things, without labels and packaging.
Real fudge (not this stuff you can buy or that most people make nowadays, but real traditional dissolves on your tongue fudge).
So many awesome things already mentioned! Fads, pink panther and double choc yumm. At school we used to get smith chips in a gold packet that you could rub all over yourself for make up or put in the oven to shrink into shrinkies to trade with friends. The play ground at school was awesome it had a giant roller you had to all run on and a fort with three levels, but they are gone for safety reasons now so has the tree that we could sit up in.
I also just remembered how much I miss choo choo bars and the old toffee apple lollies. Also calipo frost pineapple flavoured ice block things.
Real playgrounds, with seesaw's.
And merrygorounds! you never see real ones of those anymore!
