garlic roast lamb, baked potato, onion, sweet potato, carrot, cauli and broccoli with homemade cheese sauce, and corn, home made gravy. don't know that there will be much meat on the plates!
dessert, DH has offered to make choc pudding - think it will depend on how full we are!
Roast collar of pork from a saddleback pig, rubbed with salt, chilli and fennel seeds for a nice, well flavoured crackling - roasted spuds, red chard and broccoli
Pig trotters in the slow cooker, should be soft enough to get the meat off them tomorrow morning..will mix the meat with mustard and thyme, form into patties and coat with breadcrumbs for tomorrow night's dinner.
tomorrow night will be coated chicken of some sort, with roast vegies again.
then dh goes away for a week or ten days, so it's back to one person meals so stuff i've pulled out the freezer and reheated (gotta love a freezer full of slow cooker meals waiting to reheat!)
It was the famous 2 minute noodles fr me again last night. I am suffering frm severe lack of motivation in the kitchen department. I just seem so tired all the time.
I am going to try and make my own pasta tonight though with french baguettes and the last frozen pasta sauce. Depends on what time I get back from mothers group. If I get back too late it will be whats left of the tubular spaghetti and a can of stagg chilli over the top
Chicken and mushroom risotto with insalata caprese. It was good. Really, really good. Worth standing for an hour over a hot stove on a 28 degree night for.
Veal scallopini with a creamy sauce containing diced ham, anchovies, capers and grappa, Genovese-style potatoes (pot roast with anchovies and olive oil, then tossed with garlic and parsley) and a little steamed broccolli

Tonight I made Gado Gado (Balinese dish), its just basically steamed vegies, lettuce, boiled potatoes, boiled eggs, bean sprouts and all you add is satay sauce. I also added tofu.
Tomorrow night going to do a vegetarian spagetti bol.
