It's a fish - fairly ugly looking, bright red with a boxy head - they feed on shrimp and crabs on the ocean floor so they have a nice sweet taste...but because they look a little wierd nobody wants them, so they are cheap and tasty - only $6 a kilo around here at the moment.

Chicken and Vegetable pies! I make them at least once a week - soooo yummy plus white choc chip and raspberry muffins that didn't turn out too well so I might crack into the chocolate indulgence Connoisseur icecream!

    Hi Tanstar,

Could I get the receipe for the pies?

BBQ'd honey-soy chicken and sweetcorn, with herbed coleslaw. It's a perfect night for a BBQ (yep, it really sucks living in a tropical paradise...)

ETA: did you do a birth announcement yet??? https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...announcements/

Tonight.... ol' fashion home cooked bolognaise. I made a huge pot of it, starting from scratch. I only used 1 sort of mince though, I couldn't be bothered going back to the butcher for pork mince as well... I used the last of my basil plant & oregano, I'm going to pull them up out of the ground now.
