Hi, i am wanting to try and make my first ever gingerbread house but cant use ginger due to an allergy. would i be able to use a chocolate biscuit dough instead?
Does any one have a recipe they could give me?

Heys Lisa - definately use any biscuit dough! As long as it dries out ok it'll be fine. Royal icing is used to hold the whole thing together - just google martha stewart or better homes & gardens if you want some recipes.

You can also make the dough without the ginger. The original "gingerbread" house wasn't actually made with ginger!!! It has the following ground spices: cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, pimento (called "Allspice" in Australia), and cardamom. Oh, and more cinnamon!! So just google the recipe, use all these spices instead of ginger and it will taste great!!
