Biggest Loser Shakes, who has tried them?

Mkay, so I know all the pro's and con's of using shakes to lose weight, but I'm wondering if anyone has tried the Biggest Loser one and what you thought of them? My weightloss journey is happening, I mean, it's slow as all sin (lost about 2kg in 4 months ) but I'm getting there. I exercise for 30 mins every day, alternating between cardio and weights. My biggest problem is my eating. I rarely eat brekkie and lunch, and always a healthy dinner, but not eating the first 2 meals makes me impulse snack on bad things. The idea of a shake has always appealed to me, so I reckon, why not, it's two more meals a day than I would normally have.

So, have you or someone you know tried them and what did you think?

Hey PZ, yup, tried them, loved them and they worked a treat! If I wasnt b/f, I would be using them now.

Like you suggest, I had one for brekky and one for lunch. They are soooo yummy, and to make them even better, I put some ice in the shaker first, so it was just like a milkshake. I also ate a lot of fruit in between for snacks.

I did it in the lead up to my wedding and lost a substantial amount of weight, combined with a lot of walking.

Goodluck with your weightloss hun, whatever you choose x

Cool, thanks hun. I used to snack on icecream, chocolate, maccas (lol), just really bad things. Lately it's been handfuls of sultanas, apples, cruskits and rice crackers with tomato on it, so much better than before, but yeah, I'm really failing on the brekkie and lunch side of things. Great to hear they taste good too. Question, did you feel hungry on them and with snacks or were they filling enough?

Sorry darl, been having dinner and feeding bubs, and getting her to bed. I didnt forget you

Pretty sure I wasnt hungry in between. The snacks you are having atm sound pretty good to me, and similar to what I was having. One thing you might want to add/change is some almonds. They are really good for you, and help you feel fuller for longer.

I would say they were filling enough. I only had a shake for brekky, and at lunchtime I would also have a piece of fruit with it.

You can buy them individually or in bulk, so you can try them first to see how you go before you commit. Good luck x

PZ - I have done another brand of shake but have been happy with it. Not sure but I imagine they would all be similar? I have had a big leafy green salad with the lunch shake and also have a snack of apple and some almonds for morning tea and then pear and almonds for afternoon tea. I really needed to reset my system and realised I have been really out of touch with my food needs!!! I was also surprised about not being hungry and have had some moderate success over the last 3 weeks.
    Good luck! xxx

Great to know Mak, ta I think the key is healthy eating and exercise along with the shakes like both you ladies have said. I'm excited to try it out now.

I used to be the slackest ever breaky eater. Then I started having those and they def helped me lose weight. Definitely give them a go. Banana was my favourite!

I was also wondering if they were any good so thanks for this thread.

I have found if I miss breakfast or lunch i eat more. I have cereal or toast for breakfast then for lunch I've recently been having 3 cruskets with a small can of flavoured tuna and usually a banana.
