Hello all, I've been very slack lately, reading but not writing. Lovely to hear all your news and how the bubs are growing so fast now.

All is good with us, DD gets her harness off in 3.5 weeks and her hips have formed nicely so its just on as a precaution now. Still BFing exclusively and I'm loving it even though I'm still up several times a night to feed or put the dummy back in. The ADs are doing their job and I'm feeling fantastic and loving being a mum now. It makes such a difference to enjoy it all.

So is everyone looking forward to Xmas? I hope you can all have some down time in your busy lives and enjoy your bubs and families.
    xx

Dusty, good to hear from you. Great news that Freya gets her harness off soon, glad she didn't need it on for too long. I'm so happy that the ad's are doing their job & you are really enjoying mummyhood again. Is your sister coming back for Xmas?

    Hi Girls,
Leigh, I cannot believe Lexie is nearly 6 months. Wow. It is going way too fast.
Dusty, a big YAY for the ads working and for Freya's harness almost coming off. Fantastic news.
Ted is really well. Still a catnapper by day. I have only had to get up once the last couple of nights, which has been very nice!
Anyway, if I don't manage to get back on before Christmas, I hope you all have a great festive season and all the bubs enjoy their first Christmases.

    Hi girls,

very quiet in here, everyone must be busy organising stuff for Xmas.

Queg, hope Ted has been continuing to sleep well at night for you & that you only have to get up once.

Lexie turned 6months today. I can't believe how fast the 6 months has gone. She got her 6mth needles today, only cried for a very short time. My chubby bub now weighs exactly 8kg. She still has a flat spot on the back of her head coz she favors one side when she sleeps so I've got to take her for a head xray to make sure her skull is growing ok. Most of the time there is no cause for concern but some babies have to wear a helmet to try & correct the shape of the head, fingers crossed she doesn't need one.

Well I'm going to try & get a good night sleep. I'm not sure I will be back online tomorrow so in case I'm not I would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas!!! Have a lovely day & enjoy your bub's first Xmas.

    Hi Girls,

I hope you all enjoyed Christmas with your bubs & had a lovely day. We had a lovely day with family. Our girls got way too many presents, very lucky girls they are!!

We've got no plans for new years eve tonight coz DH is working 10pm-6am. On Sunday we're going up to Port Douglas for 3 nights. It will be nice to get away, I just hope the weather is ok, I think it might rain though.

Hope you all have a great new year!

    Hi Girls,

Dusty - YAY for Freya's harness coming off! I saw the good news on FB. Hope you are enjoying how much easier nappy changes etc are now!

Hope everyone else is well and enjoying their bubs.

Just wondering if anyone has started solids? I tried a week or so ago, and Ted seemed to love it, but now he gags. I guess I will persist - I just try once a day and don't push it if he's not interested.

Best go, Ted is waking up x

Ambah is on solids. We had to, otherwise she'd do everything in her power to get the food out of our hands. She doesn't gag or anything, just shoves it in her mouth and eats it lol. She's such a pig!

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas & New Year. I'm not on much ATM as dh is on holidays. Off to do more painting

I started L on breakfasts about 10 days ago and have just started giving her a bit of dinner too, she loves it, and has been sleeping sooooo much better too.

    Hope you're all well xo
