I didn't post it on FB (well not for everyone to see anyway) but this is my year for me... 2kg down so far and looking at getting into netball again.
Planning the walks when the girls are at kinder and and owning my choices.... i choose to eat crap some days but thats ok.. it's all in moderation and for me this is a lifestyle choice, it's not a diet and i'm still allowed to enjoy those things i like

NOt working well was having niece & newphew for 3 days and not having a chance to exercise yet.. but i will get there in my own time

I'm exercising a lot but food is just terrible right now. Every night after dinner I can't stop eating chocolate and chips or shapes, Etc DH knows we are not going to buy anymore but the other day I was craving cc's so he went and got me some. Really really need healthy snacks ideas and options.

Eating MUCH better here. Losing weight in the process too which is great. I'm able to lose weight well when breastfeeding, but eating right too is good for bubs as well as me Doing my best to drink more water but thats not going so great! Argh!

We've just rejoined with Lite 'n' easy. Andrew lost a lot of weight on it last time, but then put it all back on when he quit as he didn't keep up the exercise. This time we both are doing it. Dinners only. I will still cook for the kids every night. But our online shopping bill will drop right down to compensate as we will not be buying huge amounts of meat etc to feed 5 of us.

2 and half kilos gone in two weeks. Trying to exercise each day, have a in home version and a outdoors version depending on what I can get to. Most importantly rather than how much weight Ive lost, Im seeing the cms come down from the waist on my tape measure.

Eating mostly the same things but with portion control and lots and lots of water. At least a glass before each meal. And getting more sleep.

Not doing a diet but something that I can maintain long term. Feeling better within myself and darn proud that Ive lasted this long and actually look forward to getting my butt moving.

    I have lost 2.5kg since the 1st.
Drinking lots of water and eating lots of fruit and veggies, less bread and other refined foods.
I have walked 4 times a week (at least) for the past two weeks. I am planning on going to the gym next week when the classes start up again. I am feeling very motivated!
I have been trying to go to bed earlier (not so great at that one!) and also trying to spend quality time with good friends and family when I can, rather than rushing around and not taking time to enjoy my kids of friends in particular.

All in all, I think I'm doing fairly well!

I have lost 14kg this year! oh but I had a baby lol. so I guess it doesnt really count.
But seriously, bub is 3 weeks old, and I'm already itching to get back to my trainer and bootcamp. I've got the timetable of all the sessions on the fridge. However I do have to think about how its all going to work. eg expressing, feeding bub etc. I have no clue on what to do with expressing. I have a couple of weeks to figure it out.

Are you rocking your 2013 health goals?

Only started my resolution to eat better when we moved house a fortnight ago but so far it's going great. Lots of salads and fruit, no deserts and only a couple of slightly unhealthy or unnecessary snacks.

I signed up for the 12WBT and have walked around a local lake 3 times and been to the gym 4 or 5 time so far, and have been using the My Fitness Pal thing for the past couple of weeks.

And I attempted (and colossally failed) a high ropes course. Will try again in or around May.

    So I'm doing ok

A long way to go, but progress, and the shift to actual 12WBT will be much gentler.

This year I would like to set the goal to lose at least 10kg but hopefully 20kg. When we move into our own place again ill start the healthier eating and join a gym when I'm working and the cash flow improves. For now I have increased my water intake and make sure I At least eat one piece of fruit a day.

Re: Are you rocking your 2013 health goals?

I'm making this the year I be "selfish" and take care of me. I'm a confident parent and know what I'm doing there, and that DH can easily spend a good chunk of time with the kids while I get in some exercise.

I need to lose a minimum 20kgs to get back to my ideal range so I've broken that down to a minimum loss of 2kgs per month.
I want to set good examples for my kids so I have a goal to continue walking with them, minimum five times a week, and have healthy food in the house limit take away to once a week, and make that something like subway.

There are more but I've written them down at home. It's all about a healthier me this year.

Re: Are you rocking your 2013 health goals?

I'm going to go back to behaving myself on the 12WBT (I've been really bad for the past month...) and get my water intake back to a reasonable level - aiming for 1.5L a day, and cutting waaaaaaaaay back on diet softdrinks.

Increasing my fresh produce, minimising packaged products at home in general.

Fresh air exercise at least once a week (realistically, my main exercise is going to be at the gym due to the hours I work... I don't consider the 500m walk to and from work as being exercise...).

And I'm starting the year with a prayer and meditation retreat next week (just for 40 hours- not the whole week) to pray and reflect on where I'm at and where I'm going, and how I plan on getting there.

I'm considering whether to cut my mid-week drinking, or perhaps limiting it to no more than one ...

Maybe cutting down on TV binges too ... I tend to get really into a series, and will get home at 10 and watch 3 in a row ... sleep would be better!

A monthly date night with DH.

Maybe a monthly on-on-one date with each boy (ie: DH takes one boy, I take the other... two weeks later, we do the opposite ...).

Little things which can be realistically be worked into a routine, without needing to magically come up with more time or money or energy.
