A brand new month YAY. I put Lachlan to bed at 6.30pm last night and he woke just before 7am \/ Although the mood he is in he should still be asleep LOL.
Even I went to be at 7pm I was exhausted, so I have had 12 hrs sleep as well but a very sore neck now, so must have laid on it funny somewhere during the night.
We got Kimberley to bed at 7.30 last night and she slept till 6.30. She did only have a 10 min sleep in the car all day.
Not sure if i should try and cut out her nap during the day. At the moment i like having a break.
Will see how it goes when the new baby is here.
Michelle - I am having a c/section everything is booked for 24th May. They may change it if my BP starts to go up even more it is slowly going up at the moment.
Kathryn - That was a good sleep for Lachlan hope he keeps it up for you.
Yeah not doubt he will, he usually sleeps 12 hrs a night ever since 14 weeks old. Only had 2 weeks in that time where he would wake up during the night
Hello everyone
We've had an up and down weekend so far. We were invited to a BBQ lunch yesterday and DS lasted for about 2 hrs (during his normal sleep time) to be angel child O and then he hit the wall and within 5 mins was a sobbing wreck on the ground.
So I brought him home and put him into bed, leaving DH and DD at the BBQ. But DS was by this time so over tired, he started giggling and couldn't stop. After about an hour I gave up and let him out of his room, and of couse he fell asleep one hour before bed time last night.
When we got home from church today I put him into his bed only to face the same giggle monster! But fortunately he settled down this time and fell asleep quickly. I'm just not ready for him to give up his afternoon sleep yet 8-[
DD has a heavy head cold, so she's been quite snappy with poor little DS. I think we'll need to have a good long walk on the beach once they all wake up.
Thanks for the MCHN info Michelle, I'll have to sus it out.
Adara's started to take off her clothes and her nappy if she can get to it when she's done a poo now. This morning I had a pretty nasty carpet cleaning job! #-o Atleast it's a lot easier to change her these days although if she's just wet it's still pretty hard. I guess I have to go and buy a whole heap of body suit singlets..
Oh no Mel that is terrible Lachlan likes to take his nappy off too so we always make sure he is in shorts or pants cause he can't get them off yet lol.
AMBAH - Welcome to the 12mth - 3yr forum babe. How time flies. Great to have you with us have missed you loads I hope Aidyn is having an awesome day.
I dont own any singlets, have learnt from older 2 what mischief they can get up to, I only have singlet suits, until they are toilet trained!!
The twins call Rianna "little wee" coz at night before or after her bath she runs aroung like a puppy, doing little wee's on the floor ( thankgod for cork tiles!!) So funny ( know it shouldnt be but!!)
Well I have to say I was very impressed with my little girl today. I had to do my GTT, and DH was busy, so I had to take her, well I took toys and snacks and for the 3 hrs at pathology she was sooo good, and its right on her sleep time ( she's usually in bed 1030-11)Am so proud of her, it made what could have been an awful experience not too bad at all!!
Mel- Hope Adara doesn't keep doing that for long, yuck!LOL I can laugh though cos it's not me.
Vanita- What a treasure Rhianna is behaving at the GTT, ROFL at the wee, it is hard to be mad sometimes when things are sort of funny.
Kathryn- sounds like you had a good sleep as well as Lachlan, shame you had the sore neck at the end though.
Ambah- Welcome to you and happy bday to Aidyn. Wow that really flew, but then again Jessica is 8 mths today so it really does fly.
I took both babies to school today to help in Joshua's grade and Jemma was very good, she did some drawing and played computer, did a puzzle and walked around helping the kids LOL she is a little mummy already, picking up their papersetc. Jessica played in her pram and then went to sleep, so it was good, but Jemma was tired so at the moment they are both in bed snoozing.
I would suggest to anyone to keep day sleeps going as long as possible it is the only quiet time we get all day and so that Jemma is not totally off her head by tea time she really needs it even if she thinks she doesn't.
Hope you have a good arvo, I am getting a gf to put a dye in my hair after school, nothing like a hair colour change to pick you up!
That is great that she was good for you. Kam is normally okay waiting for long stuff like that if I have packed a couple of cars, but lachlan can get grizzly as well but he is still too little to really understand yet.
Michelle - that is so cute of Jessica helping the other kids. I feel lucky that Lachlan still has 2 naps a day, as soon as Kameron turned 1 he refused to have a morning nap, but Lachlan still enjoys it YAY
Welcome Ambah! And, HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY AIDYN!!! \/ Hope you're both having a great day (and not too sad like I was..)
Vanita & Michelle - I just realised that soon we're all going to have our girls in this group and our boys together in the other one Although Michelle, your bubba's prob going to be a month or so older than mine, YOU'RE SO CLOSE NOW!! \/ Vanita, LOL at "little wee"! O
Michelle - That's great they were both so good for you today and slept at the same time afterwards too! =D> So cute with Jemma..
How long do they usually keep having the 2 daytime sleeps for?
I think mine usually were finished by the time they were 3, with day sleeps. So Jemma is only 2 and 2 months and I need them, even if she thinks she doesn't.
just finished watching Super nanny, I really like the show and I am happy to say some of the things I have seen in the last 2 weeks were things we did, so it makes me feel good to know that we are on the right track.
Michelle- hope the bP doesn't get too high too soon, it would be nice for you to make your date. (sorry missed this before)
See ya have a lovely day tomorrow.
Michelle
