Well done girls. We got away with 12 pages =D> LOL
Forgot to say before. How funny is this. Yesterday I went to the Dentist and there was a computer and keyboard on the desk. Mum sat down in the chair at the desk with Tehya and Tehya decided she was going to have a turn at the keyboard. Obviously this is a sign that I sit at the computer on BB far too much with her in my arms
An a HUGE WOOHOO to me. I actually got treated in teh Dentist chair without having to be knocked out. I know this doesn't sound like much to some but I have a huge phobia to the Dentist. I have done so since I was 13 and normally I have IV sedation even for a filling. I am very proud of me. I still cried and shook like mad but I did it
Well done Trish!!
lol @ Tehya... she's going to be a computer WIZZ!!
Thanks for the support too... my bro has been gone for 6 years now... time goes by too quickly... I know he has some great company tho
I have not really been around much for the last few days. Not really been coping too well with everything but I know it should pass.
DH's cousin came to pick Kimberley up today so i had a days break and she has taken her until Thursday when i go and visit so i now have a few nights break.
Alex is doing ok been sick at night a few times not sure what is wrong. He has never been sick like this before.
He has gone back to waking up at night as well.
WOW I'm just posting way too much in here today. I decided that I would have a look at my photographers website, I didn't even know she had one til I was looking at her business card today. Anyway I went to the site and had a look on the newborn page and there is a picture of Mark, Noah and I when he was a newborn. My photographers name is Donna and her business is called PortraitDesignStudio. Of course I can't post the address but I'm sure you can work it out
Michelle, hugs to you sweety. I hope that you start to feel on top of things soon. I wish someone would come and take my 3 year old for a few days break. Fingers crossed Alex starts to feel abit better and sleeps longer for you again real soon.
Zander is now the proud owner of a Link-A-Doo high chair Now mummy just has to build it!
Very nice photo on your photographers page Trish. Well done on the dentist, I'm impressed & LOL at Tehya playing with the keyboard! Zander has developed a liking for the TV remote - does that mean we watch to much TV 8-[
Oh no Michelle, I hope Alex gets better soon. Yay for DH's cousin taking Kimberley for a few days, that's gotta help for sure.
Yay!!
I have pretty much everything ticked off, and my bags are about to be packed! And dont say lucky me... remember all those days Shane and I spent at Lara sanding windows? This is part of the reward! So really, its a result of heaps of hard work. And the only reason we are going is cause I found really cheap tickets!! And I've found some accommodation finally for $130 a night, which is self contained. And apparently we cna take any sealed food, including meat and cheese, so we are taking a couple of frozen sealed roasts, and other things, so hopefully not much money to be spent when we get there.
Sarah - yay on the high chair! Thats a great saving, especially if you were going to buy one anyway.
Tanya - keep looking after the baby rabbit....
Deb - I hope Neil gets better for you, Shane and I have been banging heads a little too lately. I think its tiredness!
Dee - Yay for your chair too!
Trish - hopefully your teeth are good now for months, and Penrith is a holiday for everyone who lives out of NSW. I'm sure you'll enjoy it anyway.
Michelle - I hope Alex feels better soon, just wondering could it be reflux that he had last night? Just a thought. Sending hugs your way
Fi - Have a great time.
Matthew has been so grizzly this afternoon but AF also seems to be on her way so I`m putting it down to that as he`s also very fussy on the BB`s, he takes a suck then starts yelling, not like him at all.
Tanya - :hugs: for you. It must be hard when your brother's birthday rocks around. I can only imagine.
Sarah - yay for Zander and his new high chair! Great that you were able to decide on what you were after.
Trish - you are a mini-celebrity with your picture on the web!! LOL It's a great photo!
Michelle - :hugs: for you matey. Sorry to hear that things have been getting on top of you lately. It was good that you were able to have a rest.
Lesley - poor little Chloe! One thing on top of the other.. sounds like what Miss Tehya had to go through with being sick so much. Yay for the new appliances. Tax cheques are handy.
Fi - have a great time! You guys both deserve it - I agree. You have both worked damn hard so make the most of it. I hope it can help things between you and Shane also
Dee - Gabby did that at the boob when I thought I was getting AF about a month and a half ago. She has been doing it a bit lately too. I am wondering if it's part of her growth spurt because she has had a bit of a pimply face too.
Well.. Neil and I had a bit of a talk. I just went off about everything (as I do... I start on one thing then keep going). He's feeling pretty ****ty about himself. I dunno... I don't really know what I want him to do anymore. Things feel a little better tho. He has promised me that he will come to church with me next weekend so we can organise Gabby's Christening.
For those who asked what I am going to spend my tax on (and it didn't come today... gggrrrrrrrr! Got a water bill instead!), I am going to pay for our holiday to Echuca in October, buy some clothes for Gabby and I, get a toddler seat for her pram, buy her the kick and whirl carnival, give some money to Neil because he didn't get much of a return, give some money to Mum, pay a few bills and get some photos developed. If there is any left over, I want to get Lucy a dog bath because she stinks!! LOL
Got the photos back of Gabby that my sister's friend took. She did an ok job (not as good as the pros but that's to be expected) so will put those on Gabby's site (they are the black and white ones in her third month).
Deb, I love Gabby's new pictures. Not sure whih one I like best actually, it's a toss up between the tummy nudey one, the close look up and the cutey dress Such a serious look on the close up face one. Glad that you and Neil have had a chat, more than Mark and I. He still isn't speaking to me and vice versa. Not that I've done anything wrong mind you, he has the craps with Joel so obviously because I'm his mother I cop the crap as well. OH well, 2 can play that game. I get my pics done in Big W here they only cost 20cents a print. Not sure if they charge the same down there though. Also this week in Big W up here they have the kick and whirl carnival for $55.
Fi, I guess your right on Penrith being a holiday to those who don't live around here. SO put it this way, your going away to listen to your baby being left to scream her head off a couple of suburbs away I hope that you guys have a great time you really do deserve it after all the hard work you were doing while you were pg and afterwards too.
I still don't have AF back. Mind you I'm not complaining. The longer she stays away the better I like it. Might get my butt to bed now as Miss Tehya is asleep now. Not like I'm getting spoken to while I'm up. I have plenty to tell Mark - I organised a date for Tehya's baptism and I got send a copy of the Birthmatters magazine with our picture and story in it today. Oh well, when he stops acting childish I might tell him about it all.
Nell, Congrats on 6months today Well Done Matty
You've been away for a couple of days, I hope all is good.
Yay for your new highchair Sarah!! Did you get it together ok?
Deb good to hear you and Neil have had a chat... sounds like you need to do some thinking.
Fi, yay at being organised!! I hope you have a great time
I hope Matthew is better today Dee.
I'll have to have a peek at that photo Trish...
Better go and have a sticky at new pics...
Be back soon
I managed to build the highchair all by myself (almost), except now I have blisters on my hand Yup I'm a big wussy & the screwdriver gave me blisters, so I had to get Aaron to do the last two screws up when he got home.
Happy 6 months to Matty
I pay the same for photos at Big W Trish. I was going to get Zander's invitations done there, but their digital machine was broken, so I had to go to Fletchers & paid 33c instead. Yaay for gettting your magazine Trish, is that the one I would have looked at online a little while ago? So when is Miss Tehya getting baptised? Zander's is on 11th September.
Good on you for having another talk with Neil, that boy just has to get his act together. Wowee, sounds like you have everything all planned out for your tax cheque. Hopefully todays the day...... I looove the b&w photos of Gabby, she is such a cutie & I think the photos are really well done.
Dee I hope Matthew is a bit better today.
Just had something funny/stupid happen! Zander has taken to giving me a pooey nappy overnight or after his first bottle of a morning. I took his nappy off, just wet, and have him on a blanket next to me while I catch up on BB. He rolled over onto his tummy and was just chewing on the blanket. A couple of minutes pass & I think, ok we have a pooey nappy now cos I could smell something. Yup, he was pooey alright but I hadnt put a nappy on yet!!! It wasn't too bad, didn't get on the blanket (not that I wouldve cared) it was just funny to turn round and go "ok, better clean that up!".
We;; we're off to mum's group, supposed to be there in 40mins, Zander's bottle is due & neither of us are dressed, ah well we can be late!
Sarah - Yay at getting the highchair assembled all my yourself, what does Zander think of it? It`s amazing the things us Mums don`t worry about anymore.
Nell - Congratulations on 6 months today Matty, the time has flown. `ve also been thinking about you I do hope all went well with your teeth on Friday.
Trish - sounds like you and Mark are going through what Mark and I went through about 3 weeks ago, didn`t speak to each other for a couple of days plus Mark didn`t speak toMatthew for 24 hours. A lot of our problem is he knows I want Matthew baptised and it`s very important to me yet as Mark tells me it`s not on his priority list so our troubles continue, yet he knew my beliefs before Matthew was conceived and I also have his Mum asking me all the time when he Matthew being baptised if it was all up to me it would have been last month ](*,) Sorry about the rambles it just makes me mad when he doesn`t want to talk about something important to me. We pay 29cents at K mart for our digital prints, not sure how much Big W is but I hardly go there plus it`s further away. Lucky you not having AF back yet, this is my 2nd time round.
Deb - I`m glad you and Neil have had a talk. Sounds like your tax is going to be very well spent. I haven`t had a look at Gabby`s photos yet.
What a horror evening/ night we had, poor Matthew just grizzled and I felt awful knowing his boobie juice tasted different yet nothing I could do about it, I also knew that there would be a high possibilty he`ll be up in the night as he wasn`t drinking like he normally would, Matthew got up at 4.30am he did have a drink without any protest thankgoodness but I was feeling awful with aches and pains of AF, I hope she soon leaves so I can get back to normal with Matthew.
We went to see the physio today because of alex's flat head and the fact he always has it on one side. Poor thing has to do excises (sp?) to help him move it. They said he should be ok in 6-8 weeks if not he will have to go back and see her and then he may have to have an operation on his neck.
Also the poor thing has a sore throat.
Michelle, just popping in to say we had that trouble with Kameron, although he was a bit younger the doctor recommened turning his cot around or making him lay the other end of the cot, as the side that was flat was the side he laid on to see his bedroom door. When we turned him around it did the trick and never had any problem.
