LOL christine about the small minds thing! Haircuts, the joy. Funny though, Jemma hasn't had one yet and she's 2 and a half, and Jessica has hardly any hair, Joshua didn't actually get his haircut either till he was almost 3 lol. just trying to save money I think LOL
Christy- I think the punishment for the girl was reasonable! Can't let her hurt matilda. Any reasonable parent wouldn't mind that!
Kathryn- I can imagine your soreness, I get it from just hanging the washing LOL. Upper body muscle pain is the pits! My gosh not many playgrps left. you have done a wonderful job taking on the playgrp role, well done!
Hello to everyone who hasn't been on for awhile.
I hope Kellee will be back soon, I miss her and Charlie.
Sort of cleaned up today but not really cos it doesn't look much different. Stupid SIL left for home today thank goodness, won't have to see her prob till Nov now. Again sitting herwith a glass of charddy although it's empty and it's my 2nd already LOL. Oh weel, if it's ok for DH to be half ****ed then it's ok for me!
LOL Michelle thank goodness you get a break from your SIL for a while, whew....
Haircuts...been thinking more about this lately as all of Matilda's hair seems attracted to her eyes now... but elastic is helping lol...I'm so not wanting to cut it yet... the curls are too cute... 8-[
how are you all, sorry haven't been round much lately - been a little busy entertaining jay during the holidays (amazing how quickly they get bored)
thanks christine for the reminder re the haircuts - jay is looking like a woolly sheep atm must find some time in the next few days to get it done.
how are you going michelle with your lot - glad to see they are over the gastro bug (gosh i hate vomit it is something i just can't handle - other end not to bad but vomiting arhh)
christy - how cute matilda with curls - i am not going to get lani's haircut lol she is going to be a real girly girl for as long as i can have control over it. jessie was shocking jeans and t-shirt girl and everytime i convinced her to put a dress on and do her hair in pigtails she thought we were going somewhere special lmao. lani has quite a bit of hair but has a couple of annoying pieces that hang down past her nose so i just sweep them back and put a clip in.
kathryn - i admire you for being on the playgroup committee - did it once and never again, i actually try and make myself invisible at agm's etc when they are forming committee's. i just find myself to busy running around doing it.
i know i have missed heaps and that will teach me for not popping in to do personals everyday so sorry to all and hope you are well.
bit of achievment over here - lani will finally eat weetbix yay after months of just toast for breaky (she would refuse cereal in the past ) she now has a bottle, then a piece of toast and 1 weetbix for breaky (although she eats weetbix with her hands at least she's eating it) i am on a mission to get her to 9kgs by november lol - 1kg in 2mths would be the most she has ever put on. am also starting her on toddler milk tommorrow, never used it before but thought seeing has she is such a fussy little eater she will need the extra vitamins etc. needles booked in for monday - arhhh not looking forward to it - am thinking i may just get one lot done then go back and get the others - my normal gp is away but i am seeing another one who is quite nice, i don't mind vaccinating but the mmr one has always played on my mind a bit.
well i guess i better think about heading to bed - thankfully flu has left me so i am feeling half human again, still very tired but that is my iron levels doesn't matter how much red meat i eat. i am going to try a liquid form of iron taken 3 times a day for 3 weeeks to see how that goes. atm i am thinking i am getting to old and tired for another child but i guess that is cause i have had a big few weeks.
Yay Kelly- sounds like a good holiday for you in the first week. Do you have plans for the kids in the 2nd week.
Michelle- I can't believe you can clip Lani's hair back. Jessica has hardly none LOL. I really should update her website so you can see how cute she is shouldn't I! I will finish chatting her and do something about it! What have you been up to with Jay? We are going to Scienceworks tomorrow, should be great! I am taking a cut lunch to save even more money. Kids can't wait. I would rather the vomit, than the pooh to be honest, esp when it is neck to toe all out of the nappy! I too have hidden at committee meetings, I figure with 4 kids I just can't devote the time needed so maybe when the babies are bigger we'll see. But at some stage i will prob have to serve on the school council of whatever school I am teaching at so maybe I can wait LOL
Christy- That's why i haven't cut jemma's hair too, she has these cute curly bits which will definitely disappear once the hair cut is over. Can't bring myself to do it! PLus it annoys both sets of Nana's. they always tell me I have to cut her hair, and so I don't. I won't be told by anyone.....LOL. Jemma loves the way it falls over her face. We do tie it back sometimes, but she likes it down best of all.
Anyway been cleaning and washing furiously, the clothes fairy did not come and put away the washing last night, so after waiting for her for 3 nights, i got off my arse and put them away!
the clothes fairy didn't visit here either 8-[ 3 loads to fold one ready to come in off the line, another load to go onto the line and a full basket of ironing and i'm on belly belly - got my priorites right lmao
Clothes fairy has skipped our house as well. 2 loads on line (have been for 2 days lol) one load never made it that far so need re-washing, and 2 loads of towels to fold ROFL.
need to get my arse into gear since all my clothes need to be washed ready to go away next thursday.
Well tomorrow is our semi big day here. Kameron has his information day at Kindy from 9am - 10am. He was giving a kids backpack yesterday in readiness from a friend, and today he has been saying "lachlan to playgroup and Kameron to kindy"
Clothes fairy? What clothes fairy? I think I've been ripped off!! Have had laundry on my dining room chair for WEEKS. Atm there are about 3 loads there to put away... 8-[
What is it about washing that we have so much but don't want to di any of it.
kathryn- your little boy is almost a big boy! *sob, sob* I am such a sook! How exciting for him! Lachlan will miss him so much when he goes to kindy! What day are you leaving on your trip? What will the weather be like? I hate packing to go away, I always pack way too much (just in case), but I guess if i didn't I would need clothes.
Staring on my pics...
Michelle- isn't bb 1st priority after kids and DH? LOL Who gives a ...about washing since i can do that at night if I want to, I've got a dryer LOL
We are leaving on Thursday morning Michelle, but I probably wont be on a great deal over the next week cause Andrew actually starts his holidays in 20 mins !! He has 2wks and 1 day off. The 1 day being for tomorrow. He is ****ty cause I am dragging him to playgroup twice lmao. He thought it was only tomorrow when we goto playgroup after the info session hahahahha. So i probably definitely wont be on as from Wednesday as Wednesday will be busy getting organised, still contemplating dropping into the end of year playgroup party, but def wont be staying if I do. I also have the house to clena and tidy as my step dad is staying here to housesit and look after the animals.
Just realised I can't remember the details I need to add but basically I am the mummy to one little boy, Benjamin, who tomorrow will be exactly one month away from turning two (DOB 23/10/03). Just starting TTC#2. Hoping to join in here to discuss the issues that come up with toddlers - new ones everyday.
I'll take a look at the other headings and send through the info in another post.
My kids were up before dawn this morning as well. I heard lach crying for a while and when I finally decided to open my eye it was only 6am #-o
Kam is currently asleep on the lounge, can't be stuffed picking him up lol, but will have too soon. He isn't going to get much of a farewell from Friday playgroup tomrorow. 2 of his best mates are sick and can't make it, so apart from me that leaves you know who, and 2 other mums (one of whom hardly turns up anyway). So looks like i will keep the chocolate mud cake home What a shame O
