    I made it.

Not sure how it is meant to come out, like whether it is meant to be gooey or not.

I didn't cook my pasta first, and I didn't adjust the measurements like I was going to.

It was a major hit in this house! My DS1 loved it. I will make it again only because it is just so easy & convenient to make. I just made sure I gave it a good stir every 1/2hr whilst it was first cooking. I also used the small San Remo macaroni which is probably why it cooked fine without needing to be pre-cooked.

Thanks for sharing the recipe MBear

I think there's a few of us having this for tea!

Mine's a little different as I won't buy Kraft (if you don't know why - check out the Ethical and Aware Living threads) so I used a bit of cream cheese spread and put extra tasty in. Smells yummo!

When it's cooked, I'll be putting them into rammekins and putting breadcrumbs, parsley and parmesan on top and baking off in the oven to finish. Mmmm...

Will let you all know how it goes!

How'd it turn out Nettie? - Did the cheese substitution work alright?

It ended up a bit oily and dry... but we ate it all anyway! It was very tasty (especially after I added the dill mustard from the markets) but I probably should have added more cream..

Had the same problem....bit dry and not saucey enough. Will add more cream next time and probably a little less tasty cheese, bit too strong for me.
Was nicer with a bucket load of parsely and chives

    Hi Ladies,
I'm trying a different recipe that I found, as we don't get the Kraft cheese here in sunny south africa.
If it works out I'll share it. Holding thumbs that it does, and doesn't come out too dry.

Trying this tomorrow night as DD can eat dairy again. Taking the parsley and chives idea on board Limeslice and will add those I think.

When we reheated it, I put the rest of the pottle of cream in and it was aceness. So I reckon you could use the whole thing to begin with and it would be fab.

I did exactly the same when reheating and it was awesome! I reckon when it's finished cooking in the SC, just stir in some more cream and it would be perfect
