Sorry to hear of the loss of your baby girl.
I have Factor V Leiden and am also heterozygous - this means you carry one copy of the gene (homozygous = 2 copies). We are around 7 times more likely to get a blood clot while those with both copies are 100 times more likely to get a clot.
I have a 10 month old, she hasn't been tested. During IVF and early pregnancy I had clexane shots.
From 26 weeks gestation onwards I wore full leg compression stockings every day.
I would recommend you ask for a referral to a haematologist. There are precautions you need to take in general life eg you shouldn't take the contraceptive pill as that also can cause clots, and you should wear compression stockings when flying.
