    (Banana Cream Pie- ) My kids and Hubby like this for a special treat.
    Short crust Pastry
    3-4 sliced bananas
    2 eggs, separated
    1/2 cup of castor sugar
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 cup cream, lemon or orange flavouring.
    Line pie dish with pastry. Slightly bake pastry then fill with sliced bananas. Beat yolks with castor sugar and cream ,poor over the bananas and bake for1/2 hour in a moderate oven( 180 degree - 200 degree celcius). Whip egg whites,3 Tablespoons sugar and flavouring until stiff. Pile on top of pie and bake for a further 10 minutes in a moderate oven until meringue is slightly golden brown.

    hmmm i second the raspberry waffle pudding, with white chocolate. yummmm

    Choc or butterscotch self saucing is always a winner.

    Apple and strawberry/rhubarb crumble.

    Caramel apple pudding.

    Blueberry scrolls

    Make a scone dough, roll it out flat, break up into chunks cooking chocolate, one can strained blueberries, sprinkle with sugar and then roll it up and slice into 1 and half cm thick slices lay the slices out on a baking tray brush with egg sprinkle with sugar.. bake until cooked and golden brown

    Serve with Vanilla Icecream

    These are just delicious and my sweet Dh makes them for me

    OMG NELLE lucky you told me ... oh, what a num num am I for leaving that out

    (Ah, ... I must confess my 2 year old was having a super scream as I was trying to type it out ... I have checked everything else ... alls good)

    Yep, so it's - 2 Cups of Boiling Water

    I reckon you could put less water if you want (as there is more than enough sauce)

    ... Keep in mind it is low-fat !! ... and ya gotta have low-fat vanilla ice-cream with it !!

    I just made blueberry tarts for dessert tonight - couldn't make anything easier! Puff pastry in muffin moulds, frozen blueberries and sugar in them. Bake til they look ready, mmm mmmmm. We had them with ice-cream.
