Problems caused by alcohol also has more effect on other people. My first stepfather was an alcoholic so his drinking not only effected him it effected, my mum and myself as he took things out on us, and listening to him vomitting in the early hours of the morning because of his drinking was so not a pleasant thing and I remember it so clearly today.
