Well she had the time of her life - a little put off by the smelly moshpit though .

To paraphrase " Ah mum, it was totally AWESOME, the moshpit smelled gross but it was fun except for the old smelly guy next to me he had the worst BO and his arm kept touching mine I'm gonna scrub my arm till it bleeds he was so gross it was SO LOUD it was so cool Artreyu was cool but when Bullet came in everyone went mental and I nearly got squashed at the front so we had to go down the back when can I go to the next gig I'm gonna get a job tomorrow so I can go to every gig in the world......

I sortea faded out after that (yes she does talk that fast).

I remember sleeping out for G n R tix about 1989, the Bros concert had been on the weekend before. There were still marquees at the tennis centre, and some of the guys found a locked fridge full of beer - they "made" me reach up and get it 'cos I had such skinny arms.....aah the memories!

... And that you helped give her, her 1st concert experience to remember FOREVER & talk about it in years to come like WE still do

Awww, that's soooo, like, cool Lulu!!! () Sounds like she had a blast. Give it time though - she'll grow to love the smell of a good moshpit... or at least won't notice it so much. Assuming it was an all ages / alcohol free event, at least she didn't have to contend with the p***sed bloke not noticing that he was spilling his beer all down her back. I used to come home from gigs smelling like a brewery, and I don't even drink beer.

LOL at seeing the Gunners preggo LimeSlice - Euan's 'first' gig when I was five months pregnant was the Live Earth concert - we got free tickets. His dad was at Crowded House's last gig at the opera house, and we were all at their first gig reformed.

We wanted to go to a gig on Friday night, but it was at a non-baby friendly venue so not an option unfortunately.
