We were very lucky and conceived on our first cycle of clomid so obviously it made me ovulate. I don't ovulate every month and have very long cycles (PCOS).
I didn't get any side effects from it either. Best of luck!
DS1 was conceived on the second round of Clomid (only side effect was some yucky sharp pains when I was ovulating).
DS2 was natural "oopsie".
With this bub (due in approx four weeks), I did four or five cycles of Clomid. The first cycle didn't make me ovulate, but the other 3-4 did. We didn't get a BFP though. I ended up going to an acupuncturist/TCM practioner and we conceived this bub after three months of "natural" ovulation induction + alternative bits and pieces.
I did 3 cycles of clomid, the first was unmonitored, the second my cycle was shortened by 5 days with no ovulation and the third they upped my dose and my cycle went to 41 days... My body didn't like it!
