Sunbeam - Im not 100% sure but i think once the line is as dark or darker than the test line thats when you are ovulating. I have had the same as you... Faint line yesterday and darker line today but not as dark as the test line. I also have ewcm so i guess it should be darker tomorrow??? Hope that helped.

afm - I went to see the psychologist my FS referred me to and it was a good experience, I am coming up to one year since I lost Charles and the grief burns brighter every time we get another BFN but talking to her today put a lot of things into perspective. Hard to put into words but I feel better. Will stop rambling!

Just a quick question for those who use OPKs. I know the lines have to be the same strength for the test to be positive but if there is a faint line do you find this gets stronger as you get closer to o'ing or does it mean nothing? Got nothing yesterday but faint line today.

I get a faint line and it gets darker every day. I consider it a positive if the second line is as dark as or darker than the control line. When you get the + you will ovulate with 24-48 hours so bd on that day... If you are unsure if the second line is as dark as the control line (as in it is only slightly darker) consider it a + and like crazy! I usually get 2+ ones each cycle and ovulate 2 days after the 1st one.

Hello ladies!!!!

Sunbeam - I had an AF on 31/5 - 2/6 (mine only last 3 days), and my cycle is the very typical 28 day, and I ov'd on 14 (though I hadn't been too sure of my ov date before).
When I used the OPKs I got the lighter line before I got the darker line. If you don't get a darker line, then next cycle try twice a day after you get the first light line. fingers crossed you won't need the next one though!!

Cherished - I hope you don't have to have d&c, but like coco said, at least it will give you a "clean slate". I know it's no concelation, but it has to be better than all this bleeding. superhugs.

I am still not sure what is happening, my temp is still up, but I'm now on the third day of spotting.
TMI ALERT: Well spotting is probably too strong as in its only on the toilet paper, not enough to come out on my pants - sorry if TMI.
I have only ever had 2 day "spotting" from implantation before. I mean the time is right but implantation usually only lasts for one day, not three!!
And I don't have porno boobs like last time, so I'm not sure...
New mission: I will NOT anlayse every microscpic bodily symptom.... (yeah right!!)

Hi Milly I thought the technical term for spotting was that it does not get on your liner, so it is only on the tissue?... And if there is one thing I have learnt it is that each pregnancy is different... I remember the symptoms so clearly as the they were so close together and both times were very different.... I have NO idea when I am pregnant so from now on I am just gonna have to go with the flow... That is a BIG dip on your chart, hope it's a good sign for you

Coco - I wanted something to commemorate my baby too. I have one of those Pandora bracelets. I thought I might buy a little angel for it.

Sunbeam - I never had much luck with the OPK's. They never went as dark as they should and would cause me a lot of confusion and uncertainty about whether they were indicating anything. In the end I asked my doctor how to read them and (she is very blunt) she said throw them in the bin as they are not accurate enough to predict anything. Everyone is different. After I stopped using them and taking note of CM I found that was very accurate for me personally and that's when I fell pg last time.

AFM - I dyed my hair tonight. I figure if I am TTC next month then I won't be able to do this much longer so I am making the most of it.

AFM I have been pregnant or recovering from being pregnant for 6 months straight and I am really P1ssed off about it! I am however feeling good about my workouts and eating can't wait to get home from work to do another one

Subeam-OPK'S i usually get a light line for a few day's before i get a darker positive line which i get like 4-5 day's of really dark lines so with me it is not easy to tell as my temp show's when i'm supose to ov but i get ov pain 2 day's after that and i know my ov pain i get it every month so i try to BD the day's before.

Coco- great idea i have my daughter's tiny (actual size)footprints her name and date of birth tattooed on my wrist and my DH has an angel with her name tattooed on his wrist so she is with us always.

Dellydoo-i am also seeing some one as i don't feel i am coping with losing abbi and every mth i get a bfn or when i see pregnant women it's is a painful reminder i'm glad you feel better.

Milly-i have never spotted at implantion so i'm not much help and my whole life i have been a 28 day cycle maybe a day late or early if ive been sick but alway's spot on and since i lost abbi my cycle is not right since march it's been 2 or 3 days of really light spotted cm then AF turns up and i have been 2 or 3 day's late now i'm 4 day's late so my cycle has changed.

AFM my stupid AF just wont come i have tested got a BFN but my temp has dropped so maybe they will come tomorrow anyway DH and i have decided we are going to go the PGD IVF first before the government get's rid of the 80% rebate in jan so if we get pregnant great if we dont then we can go on to try natrually because if we try natrually and wait the 12 week's and find out the baby is affected then have to terminate and try IVF our time might run out to get the first cycle of IVF before jan but if we do it first and it fail's then we can go on and try natrually for as long as we want as we only want to try the IVF one time and $6000 vs $14275 is a big difference so it wont happen until sep or oct if i do get pregnant in the meantime i will still get all the ivf testing done and be ready to start if that baby is affected ,well that's our plan now i'm not sure i want to chart to try to avoid getting pregnant so i don't put off the IVF GOD i'm so confused i feel we have had such bad luck that i will stop trying and get pregnant and that baby will also be affected but i don't feel right avoiding getting pregnant (this is why AF is late STRESSSSSSSSS)

Hi everyone,

Back on board after my hospital visit, I knew I would feel bad after the procedure, but truth be told I just feel really numb! Had a bit talk with DP last night who was not dealing with everything (best way for him is not to acknowledge it), I was crying and it really felt for the first time since we lost "Charli" we were greiving together. We will see how we go with the next couple of months TTC - really have my fingers crossed we fall again very quickly.

I know it might be strange me giving the bub a name considering the loss was very early, but I like being able to refer to the bub with a name rather than the baby we lost. The support person at the hospital suggested we name the baby (obviously a unisex name), I like it so its name is Charli - the little angel I will not ever get to meet - very sad. Has anyone else considered naming their bub or am I just strange???

Cherished - I dont know about cycles going back to normal but I havent had much blood loss since the op yesterday - I could only refer to it as light (lighter than my normal period). I am having some cramping but nothing too bad. I didnt have a negitive experience with my D & C (but I know others may have) so if you have to have one don't feel scared, im sure everyone will be supportive just like they were with me. On the Gold Coast the public hospital has a terrible reputation and everyone was so lovely and supportive of me and the circumstance - I really felt looked after. On a positive note the hospital says the bleeding counts as a normal period so we dont have to wait for another normal period before trying again. They mentioned with a natural miscarriage to wait to have a normal period after the mc - so basically 2 months.

Coco - the wrist must be a great place for a tattoo, I am doing the same thing - except I am getting a star (kinda obsessed - but very fitting I think) on my wrist to remind me of Charli.

Anila - I am glad I have someone here with whom I started my journey with - you make it familiar - even though I wish the circumstances were different.

Thanks to everyone for making me feel welcome - hopefully in the coming days/weeks I will contribute more to help you guys.

Hi SuperstarMumsy and I am glad you didn't have a negative experience with the D&C. I had one for my 1st mc at the end of March and we ttc that cycle, I charted & ovulated but didn't have any luck until the next cycle so I was really happy with that.... Until I lost that one too.... My D&C experience was ok too except for the colic the antibiotics caused... I have thought of the positives if I do need to have it... If I don't have the D&C I will be happy to wait until after another AF anyway... I haven't considered naming the babies I lost, I would rather forget about them... (long term anyway) I don't want to be reminded everyday of the heartache for the rest of my life... In 10 years time when I have had all of my forever babies I just want to concentrate on them..... I think it is lovely to have an everyday reminder if that is what you choose and feel is the best for you and your dh... My mum lost twins, one a couple of weeks after birth and the other 6 months later, there was a photo of one of them in a frame in the lounge room... She would talk about them every now and then but it wasn't a regular thing.... Life goes on iykwim But 'no' you are not strange and neither is coco

Superstarmummy-i'm glad everything went well for you and i hope you let yourself heal before you try again my doctor (professor from the fetal medicine unit) said after a loss weather M/C or D&C or giving birth you should let the lining of your uterus heal and be prepared for the next baby and have at least one normal cycle i know you don't want to hear it i certainly diddn't i wanted to get pregnant a.s.a.p to ease the pain but give yourself time to heal and grieve your little one.

AFM - well all I can say is WTF is going on - temp has dropped, so no stork visit this month, but I am STILL spotting - this is day 4 now. I am still 5 days from AF. Thats a bit too early for AF, and its way too much for implantation (and anyway, my temp dropped). Just confused, and now just want AF to come so I can start over. Grrr....

Milly I have seen temp drops on a BFP chart so it's not over until it's over iykwim... How long are your cycles normally?
