    Hi all!

I had a wonderful day today with a little bit of uncomfortableness thrown in for good measure.
I went to the Gynae Denise Nesbitt at Newcastle Private and she didnt beat around the bush! She gave me a pap smear which was kinda long overdue then had a chat with me and said to me "you're ovulating which is great, you have had a pregnancy which is encouraging and because you've fallen pregnant your DH sperm are most likely ok, having said that the reports almost ALWAYS come back saying need retest because pathology places are sometimes not as quick as they like to be and that doesnt mean anything."

Then she looked at my charts and said "Ok the next step is to have an internal look so we would like to do an endoscopy."

I almost kissed the woman! FINALLY a dr who LISTENS!!!!!! HOORAY!!!!

I will be in for day surgery on July 16th pending the outcome of this cycle. Ill be having a Hysteroscopy (look in my uterus vaginally with a camera) and a Laparoscopy (keyhole surgery to look into my everything) and within that operation they'll do the umm..the thing where they put the dye into your fallopian tubes while they're at it and she said my tubes might just be stuck shut in places so if nothing else (no blockages) they'll flush them open

Im SO EXCITED!!!!! I obviously want to be pregnant first but this will be great! Ill be happy whatever the out come in appx 2 weeks

    Hi girls,

Superstarmum- thinking of you and sending you best wishes for tomorrow. Big hugs

Ferrals-that sounds like good news from Syd IVF I'm glad things are moving forward for you. Now if we can just get your a/f going. Maybe we need an a/f dance and chant that we can all do when someones a/f gets stuck, you know like a rain dance

sunny- we'll do the a/f dance for you too or are you feeling any chance of a BFP?

Anila- congratuations cd50 must be quite a record, beats all my past efforts. Sorry RB had to show up on your anniversary, rotten sod! Well at least its here, glad you are looking towards the future and trying to be positive.

coco- you made me laugh , I've never heard someone so excited to be having medical procedures, particularly down there! I do however totally understand your joy that someone medical is now being proactive with regards to your fertility. I hope it all goes smoothly hun.

afm- I just had to make an appt to see an ear nose and throat specialist as all my horse size suppliment pills have done something to my throat and I can now only take them at night and can't eat any crunch foods or it feels like something is stuck in my throat for the rest of the day and is really uncomfortable. What a great side effect to TTC

    Hi everyone,

just a couple of persies because there are so many posts since I was in on Fri!!

Anila - happy anniversary - sorry AF has decided to join you, but OF COURSE she would - AF has this inate ability to show up for ALL special occaisions, but at least now you are on CD1, so that's good news.

congrats to zacs mum - YAY!!! WOO HOO!!!

coco - I am pleased you are getting some answers, your spec sounds great!! I am so hopeful for you!!

AFM - well, I've still a week to go on the 2WW, and had a little bit of spotting yesterday and today. I am quietly hopefull (it would explain the feeling sick and the overly emotional) but at the same time, am still very cautious and nervous. We'll just have to wait and see I guess.

    Goodmorning Everyone,

Its a beautiful day where i am today. The sun is shining and its not chilly cold like it has been!

Anila - Happy Anniversary for yesterday. I hope you were spoilt by your dh. A shame a/f couldnt wait one more day but good to hear that your body is doing what it should and its getting back on track.

Welcome Superstarmummy - I hope you are feeling supported and loved at this hard time. The women in here are just amazing and so strong. I hope your stay is short.

Smallfryplus / Greenslw - How are you going???

Coco - Excellent news that you have found a great doctor. I bet you are feeling a lot more in control now. And the testing is so soon which is great too.

Cherished - Im sorry that you are still spotting. I hope it eases and you dont need the d&c.

ZacsMum - Any more news? How did the blood test go? How are you feeling?

Milly5 - Your chart does look good. for you. We need more exciting news in here.

Ferrals4 - Still no a/f! Is your temp still up?? Sending you lots of babydust that this is your month. Did Syd IVF ring you back with an appointment?? Heres hoping you dont need it.

Sunbeam - I love reading your posts. Always so positive and supportive to everyone. You sound like an amazing woman. Why do they make all the tablets so big? I have real trouble swallowing them. My dh thinks its funny seeing me gag on them every day. Hope the e.n.t dr can help you out.

Sorry if i missed anyone. to everyone.

    Hello ladies.

Maddison- that is very lovely of you to say about me being positive and supportive. I am a positive person by nature I think I get it from my dad. His motto for life is "Nil illegitum carborundum" I'm sure its not a literal latin translation but he recons it means "don't let the bastards grind you down" real or not I think it is a great sentiment.

Off to my last grief counselling session which has helped heaps.

    Big hugs to everyone

    Morning Ladies!

Cherished, hoping that the bleeding/spotting stops for you, but on the other hand, maybe it is good to get a d&c so it "cleans" you out and starts with a fresh lining? Just a thought, tell me to shut up if you like.. :hugs:

Anila: As bad as it is, Im glad AF came for you!! Now you know what is happening, and its a fresh start

I am all about fresh starts today alledgedly!

Ferrals: Have you done any POAS tests?

AFM It is 4 months today that our angel baby left us and I had been thinking of doing something more to commemorate her. I spoke to DH about this a while ago and have had a good think about it now, and this morning I went and got a little tattood on my inner wrist.

I wanted to get a white heart but they told me that it always goes yellow within a couple of weeks and everyone comes back to get it coloured, so i skipped that part and got a nice small pink heart which will sit under my belcher bracelett which was a birthday/christmas/wedding anniversary gift and on the same hand as my wedding and engagement rings.

Im very happy with it, the guy that did it was really good about it, sympathetic and wished us luck and he sheepishly told me the girl he is seeing just got pregnant but I think he was sheepish because they werent keeping it. He said he really liked the sentiment and thought it was beautiful. It was great because I felt like a "silly woman" in the tattoo place with 4 massive heavilly tattood men ahaah

They did my other one on my back, its my sisters name and I love it, its in cursive writing and the S (sammy) looks like a treble clef, we're both right into music and performance

Hope everyone is having a nice day today. Its sunny here for the first time in like 2 weeks and Im going to go outside and read I think!

    Ciao

Coco-I think the tattoo is such a beautiful idea. I have not yet done anything for my angels but I think that is because I still feel the little spirit with me. I did buy a little snow globe with a teddy inside that I shake every morning for her. My bestie and I were talking about getting matching tattoos to signify that even though we are no longer a couple we are still soul mates. I think it would be lovely to incorporate something about the baby when it arrives as she is going to be the god mother.
Also so nice to see your photo, good to have a face to the name.

ferrals-gald to hear you are making the most of no a/f with lots of loving

    Question

Just a quick question for those who use OPKs. I know the lines have to be the same strength for the test to be positive but if there is a faint line do you find this gets stronger as you get closer to o'ing or does it mean nothing? Got nothing yesterday but faint line today.
