Hi everyone, as I thought I am officially joining you guys, the hospital has confirmed my little bub has grown wings. Booked in for the proceedure on Tuesday as it is not happening naturally. Feeling very empty at the moment, which I guess is normal.
So sorry all you lovely ladies that are feeling down, it is very unfair what we have had/have to endure...as my DP keeps telling me our time will come for our bub! I know it will happen but patience is hard. The hard part for me is people telling me it isnt that bad cos it happened early which I find so harsh....it was still my bub and mummy was very attached. I find it hard to deal with people at the moment and prefer to be left alone as even well meaning comments upset me.
Superstar Mumsy, im so sorry for your loss. Even more so because mother nature hasn't been able to take your angel. I had to have a d&c when my angel grew wings so I completely understand. Im sorry for people's harshness. If there's anything you need let us know. If you need to vent, do so.
Good luck Hun, the op will be fine. You're DH sounds fabulous.
ooh sunny hunni, come over here and let me give u a big squishy hug (((((()))))).
U will be a mum, and when it is ur turn u will be an even better mum because u have been through the heartache, and have so much desire and love in ur heart, u have so much to offer a little bundle, and when heshe gets here, they will have so much love in their hearts for u as well.
We all have bad days, i suppose thats what reminds us that we are human, its ok to have bad days as well, i just leant that, we can be broken on some days, but there will always be someone somewhere, that can help fix us.
superstar, hun i am so very sorry for your loss. This is a great support thread.
Sunny-hun i know you feel that way now and your hormones would be making you feel like this i get really teary and feel i will never give my DH a baby and i alway's think the worst at this time in my cycle but you will feel better soon you are doing your very best to have a baby but for us it is just that little bit harder you are young you have time on your side please dont give up on somthing your desire so much it will happen.
Superstarmumsy-aww im sorry your little one couldn't stay and not wanting to be around people is a normal feeling i still don't cope with people i prefer to be at home with my family and we lost abbi 3 months ago today so give yourself time to heal i hope your D&C goe's smoothly and you can join us on our TTC journey.

Superstarmumsy I am absolutely devastated that you are over here I really hope that we both get a BFP at the same time and are belly buddies together again... I will probably be having a D&C next Friday as my bleeding keeps stopping and starting so it would have all been going on for 3 weeks by the time I have my appointment (which seems like forever!) Good luck on Tuesday I will be thinking of you xoxoxo
Coco, It will take us 3 mins (literally) to drive the sample to the lab... So I reckon with 2 mins to wash hands and get dressed that will be 5 mins tops
AFM I bought a little fishy to love and feed today... I cried when my last one died, he was my friend when I went through a really hard patch 3 and a half years ago.... This little fella is now my baby I know it sounds totally crazy but I am allergic to cats and dogs and the breed that I want to get is a $750 cat so I thought a $9 fish was a better option and he looks great
AFM. Im SO sorry for my post earlier too. I feel terribly selfish, because we're all going through the same journey.
I can't help these feelings that i'm having. I wish it would all go away and end.
I'm so thankful to have found you girls. I feel like I can't talk to anyone in 'real life', nobody really understands. They all think I am or will be ok soon, even those that have lost as well. I don't want them to think anything different either. I think I may need professional help now.
Sunny you don't need to appologise honey, we have all had those days... havent' named the fishy yet, dh & I will name him together when he gets home on Monday
Sunny-i thought i was doing ok i had my moments but it wasn't until my mum and a few work friend's said you might need to see some one that i broke down and relised i wasn't ok i was putting on a brave face and acting like i was ok i am now seeing a councellor and i hope it helps me but i feel in my heart i wont move on until i hold a healthy baby and maybe then my pain will get better there is lot's of help out there for women like us.
Cherished - I understand what you mean about your fish being your "baby", my cat was my baby after angel#1. If I was crying in bed, he would climb up on my tummy and just lay there and pur. Sadly he died about 2 years ago, and I really missed him this time.
AFM - I'm in the "need a hug" category. Exam was horrendous, came home and argued with DH (of course) and then after he had to go out, howled my eyes out for several hours. Feel like death warmed up today.
Still have the abdo pains, but then also have a bit of an upset tummy, so that's probably all it is. I just want to have a glass of wine (not just one), but not game enough to, just incase.
Superstar you poor thing, sending big hugs your way and the strength to get through this however you can. We all know there is nothing anyone can say to make it better, but know that we are here for you in any way we can be
Ferals how awful, its time like these I want to become a politican myself to sort all this sh-t out...I hope you find a way to get some financial assistance and the sydney clinic can get things moving for you. Just a thought, is any of it affected by the medicare safety net? ie would you get 80% of the gap refunded?
Cherished there may still be a chance you don't need a d+c I was bleeding on and off (mostly on) for 8 weeks and the u/s found no RPOC...
Sunny hang in there, it is soo hard I know, no matter how hard we try not to get our hopes up its all just a charade, underneath it we want to be pg so bad and there's no amount of rational thinking or waiting to test that can prepare us for the dissapointment. I would love so much for us all to get our BFP's (sticky ones) together... no one else will understand how much we want (and deserve) this
Milly I am with you, my pg 'symptoms' have all but dissappeared, if they were really there to begin with, sometimes I hate my body sooo much...i wish i could be put in an induced coma or soemthing and they can wake me up when I am safely pg! still for us.
Hi to everyone else, percies would make this one even longer sorry...
Wanted to do personals but sinde i don't get on her every day there is so much to catch up. I guess the main thing I want to let everyone know is to have a whinge and not feel sorry for it.
If we can't understand and be supportive of each other than who can we rely on? I know that often I feel you girls are the only ones I can talk to, the only ones who will listen to the same rant over and over again!
AFM (ps, what does that mean lol). I am not sure what my cycle will do this time but I 'feel' preg. i know the chances are its wishful thinking but there is just something that makes me think I am. At least with my 40 hpt's I can test as much as I like
I really hope for some bfp's, I want you girls with me on the journey to share the fears...people don't understand unless they have been through it.
Just want to say and thank you to you all i hope the gloomies disappear and that this week is a bit cheerier for us
Good luck Tina, fingers crossed you, me and Milly arent just imagining things
I know what you mean, I feel like I would still need you guys if I got that BFP, and would want you all to as well, to share the emotions it would no doubt bring...and cos you all deserve it so much!
I think AFM is as for me? but thats just what I guessed so could be wrong!
AFM= As for me. Its just abbreviation for letting others know how YOU are.
Thanx wonderful friends. Ive been out tonight and gotten a little boozy (not drunk-hiccup!) and enjoyed myself. This is the first time ive been out since TTC in September last year. For someone thats only 23 yrs old, im a bit of a nana. I dont like drunk ppl etc, but tonight it was make or break for me.
Cant explain what messed up things I think but THANK YOU EVERYONE for all your personal messages and public positive wishes. Without you all I dont know where i'd be.
Its 1am and im cooking a meat pie and chips in the oven. Stuff fat free crap, what use??!?! Yummo!!!!! Smiling as I munch on boozy fat food and reflect on tonight.
Thank you again, you've saved my life it feels like.
Hi Ladies,
i,ve been clicking and clicking and reading, trying to get to the recent page of this thread.
Am still healing but by July am officially a TTCer Candidate. Other wise Baby charms to all you on the Voyage now.
KM1-once you reach the medicare safety net you are supose to be covered 80% but not for the actual PGD test's on the embryo's or medication ect so at the moment PGD IVF is like $12000-$13000 80% of this covered by medicare plus $3300 for embryo test plus medication not covered so we would be OOP at least $8000 if your thinking of becoming a poly do it now lol.
TinaR-hope you get your BFP.
Sunny09-happy your feeling better.
Vianna-welcome and sorry for your loss you will get to know the fabulous ladie's here they are my sanity i don't know how i'd be if i didn't have the girl's to rave on to.
AFM- RB has not shown up all my period pain has gone and my temp went back up even higher then the last 2 day's to 36.93 but BFN on the hpt so they must be just late i use to be exactly 28 day cycle since i lost abbi it has been 29 day's but spotting from day 27 not this month im on day 29 and nothing yet.
Cherished-i have claimed extra medical expences before it use to be anything over $1500 you could claim a percent back i will have to look into it but i did forget about it thank's for reminding me.
Superstar / Vianna (sorry it?s under such difficult circumstances) I hope your stay is short!!!
Sorry to see that things have been a little bit down in here. Hopefully the stalk will pay us all a visit very soon!!!
For everyone in the two week wait I hope that THIS IS THE MONTH. And for those waiting for AF finger crossed it?s her last visit and next month brings lots of .
AFM -Well AF still hasn't shown so yesterday I did a HPT and got a faint BFP. Don't want to get to excited yet as it was a little faint for my liking (would have expected a more definite result by now) I think I O?d a fortnight ago. Anyway will test again on Monday morning. I'm very nervous, I don't want to be disappointed again.
Take care everyone
