    Hi everyone,

I've been mostly lurking and not posting the last few days because I am still yet to ovulate and have been stressing a bit about it - it is day 16 today and last month I Oed on day 12 Stupid body, no wonder we are have trouble getting pg! I'm getting a bit over these erratic cycles.

Anyway yesterday my clinic gave me a scan to see what is going on and I have a 16mm follicle, so hopefully I will O towards the end of this week I have to get blood done again tomorrow and then probably every day after that until I finally O.

I just wanted to drop in and congratulate AJC, Mel, Emmylou and Canary - that is fabbo news. All the best to you all for a H&H pregnancy!

Hi to everyone else, hope you are all well and all the best to everyone in the TWW, especially those nearing the end!

    Good luck everyone,

I hope it's alright if I hang around untill I have my scan. It won't be real untill I see the heart beat and pass the 10 week mark. (D day or M/C day since i'm not at war)

It is odd, I'm more terrified that this one wont hold than I am excited that i got the BFP.

Don't get me wong i still did a dance around the lounge holding the postitive stick. (not recomended by the way, they dribble onto your hand if you hold them up side down)

I'm sure it will sink in soon.

Sorry for no personals, I just needed to realese before I went to work.

Canary - I just saw your question about BBs and symptoms varying. So...I have stressed this whole pregnancy because I have had minimal symptoms, so I asked my Ob (who I adore and respect more than I can explain) and he told me very simply 'symptoms are a very poor indicator of a healthy pregnancy'. So whenever I try to find something wrong or think a symptom is missing, I just try to reassure myself with that line. My last preg, I had sore BBs and this time nothing nada. In fact, this pregnancy if it wasn't so laced with worry and grief, would be classified as a perfect one - as generally I feel great. Shame I can't enjoy it!

So I hope that helps. Just relax. Each pregnancy is different so take it day to day.

Kategirl - Will be thinking of you today. Thanks so much for what you said about symptoms. I had stronger symptoms last pg than I do this pg. You've made me feel so much better about that though.

Canary - I'm hearing you! My bb's haven't been that sore - although they are more plump. So hard not to stress though isn't it. It's funny, if I had the same symptoms as last time I would worry that I'm going to m/c again but now I have different and less symptoms I worry anyway! Sending you lots of and

Mel - lol at you dancing around the house with the pee sticks. I did another one on Sun morn (just because) and I wondered why DH wasn't all that impressed when I went running back into bed holding them in his face. I kind of saw his point a few minutes later though

smilinatu, megsmum & Sarajane - thanks for the congrats. It will be your turn very soon I just KNOW it.

    Hugs and babydust to everyone.

PLC I just knew everything would turn out right for you.

AFM - I just spoke to the doctor and he's calling the bleeding "break-through bleeding", have to go and get a day 21 test on Thurs, so hopefully that will show i've ovulated, although I didn't feel it this month if i did, maybe we have half a chance to join the BFP's. I'll know next week anyway cause I have to go and see him. that the tamoxifen worked as i don't know what other choices we have.

    Hi Everyone!
I hope that you don't mind me hanging around here like a bad smell? I'll leave you in peace and move onto PAML in a few weeks, but right now, I'm not quite ready to move on

KatieGirl- Thanks so much for that advice, it has really helped to make me feel calmer today. I am sure that in a few weeks (only 25 to go!), you will look back on your pg with your baby in your arms at a really perfect pregnancy. I hope that the next 25 are as plain sailing as the first!

MelA- How you doin'? IKWYM re: being more terrified than excited. I have been quite calm (except for a few hours of blind panic yesterday, the ladies here soon helped me out) I guess I'm trying not to let myself get too excited right now. Have some

AJC- stickyvibesboy: - Right back atcha! Hope you're doing OK over there.

Plc- YAY!!!!! Great news on your scan- bet you're over the moon!!!

Smilanatu - Thanks, hun, I will be relaxing more from now on. Enjoy your memorial day. Over here 'remembrance day' is in November, and really marks the midlle of a nasty, cold, bleak winter. I've just realised that it is coming up to summer here, so you cant be having summer in Oz- when is memorial day? Am I getting my seasons mixed up? Oh - I must be having a blonde moment!

Acria - My goodness, I'm sure that there must be lots of sperm fighting to get at your eggie! I think that your DH is right. GL for the 2ww. Oh, by the way, I heard that O pain is not a great way of telling when you have O'd (temping supposedly better), but I always understood that it signifies the release of the egg. I may be wrong about that. From reading your post, it does seem as though you have bd'd at the right times.

PbStar - Hi! Glad to hear that you are doing good. GL for this month.

KrystieL - Good on you getting that BT result!! I hope that O comes soon.

Jen- Glad to hear that I'm not the only one who's bb's could do with a bit of a hormone boost! Hope you are OK

LJ- Sorry that you are feeling down. I hope that we see more of you soon. Feel better.

    Mollycat - :goodluck2: Really hope it's a BFP!!

Megsmum - Hi! Your cycle certainly sounds confusing. I hope it gets better soon, GL catching the eggie.

Sarajane- Hi! Thanks for the congats - Hope you're doing OK

Angel B - Your post really sounded like a goodbye. Like Nickter, I hope to see you around here someday soon. Thank you for all of your support over the last few months, I wish you every bit of happiness in your future, whatever you and DH decide re:TTC. Look after yourself hun.

I had better go now, I'm neglecting DH as I haven't made dinner yet! Thank you to everyone for your support- you dont know how much it means.

    Good Morning to everyone

Angel Babies - glad you're feeling ok. sounds like you're in a really good place at the moment, how sweet of your boys to buy that beautiful present for you and include your little angels in it. Shows how much they meant to them as well. Don't totally give up as a surprise may come your way. Pop in every now and then your wisdom has helped us all at many different times, I know without you life would have been that little bit harder. Wishing you all the best.

Thanks everyone for all the good wishes, it's such a relief to know that the Dr is not overly concerned with this bleeding and looks like we're still cycle buddies Jen. (I like the sound of that)

The builders are in my play room at the moment ripping out walls, every now and then the wall in here shakes and there is such loud banging, can't wait to see what it looks like, (wish I could go and help) the plumber and electrician will be in tomorrow and the plasterer starts on Friday, by next week I should have my house back and then we can start with the rest of it. DH knocked a hole from the kitchen into our bathroom last night, so we now have no stove, looks like dinner on the barbie for a while until the new kitchen goes in. The old kitchen will become our bedroom and the bathroom our ensuite. looks like a junk sale in my house at the moment I have stuff everywhere. Not working today, but kids should be back in tomorrow, i've got lots of stuff to put away (HELP)

Angel Babies (Bday buddy) like nickster i am in tears but like mollycat i am so appreciative to have had your support, wisdom and guidance during my TTC journey. While being so strong for us, you still battled your own emotions and you went away to sort yourself out with your darling and your path ahead obviously looked a lot clearer for you. I am glad that you have found the direction you need to take. But the child in me still wants to not accept that you are moving on away from us and I'm kicking and screaming a bit . For selfish reasons, I would love it if you could come and say hi to us every so often and impart your pearls of wisdom. But more than anything, I want you to be happy and at peace with yourself because you deserve to let your beautiful energy remain positive so that you can continue to bless others as well as yourself. God bless bday buddy.

Flowerchild - thanks so much, I read the link you provided. Not sure where to go from here, I hope you can help. I said to my doctor last time I saw her that I think I have been pregnant two more times over the past 6 months and I'm scared my body is rejecting them. I just kinda feel like that is happening, I really felt a baby's presence and then my period would come when due but really, really heavy, when I usually have a fairly light period which I have had the other 4 months. I have a highly strong ANA and had glandular fever shockingly when I was 6, I missed half a year of school. I have had intermittent bouts of being quite sick but it really stepped up a notch after having one of my kidneys removed when I developed chronic fatigue. No other antibodies have shown up, though I do have a lot of the lupus symptoms, including butterfly rash over nose which comes up as though its an allergic reaction - two rheumatologists have diagnosed me chronic fatigue/fibromyalgia overlap. My cousin has severe rheumatoid arthritis so there is definately family history of autoimmune. Do you think I should start taking aspirin to see if that helps? Interestly, when I fell pregnant with Aiden my Nephrologist prescribed one aspirin per day from about 6 weeks which I had to stick to throughout the pregnancy. Wonder if that's why it all went normal? I dont really mention this stuff to doctors anymore, sick of doing a million tests and nothing showing up - then getting treated like I'm insane. I just manage myself through exercise and good diet. Even if I eat a little badly for only a while and put on only 2 or 3 kilos, I get sick. Do you know anyone who can help?

Big hello to everyone else, I'll pop back in later to do some personals.

Jodsan - I just read your post and thought I would let you know that I am currently seeing a great ob who specialises in women you have had previous losses and/or medical conditions. His name is Mark Umstad and I was recommended to him by another BBer, after I said I wanted to change obs. I met his pre-pregnancy and he ordered any tests that had not already been done (which was a lot) and made sure we covered everything. My last ob thought it unnecessary to do tests as I had only had 1 loss - but Mark is far more pro-active. He is also a kind, understand man who is incredibly experienced and competent. He works out of Frances Perry House and you would need to book in to see him pre-preg I think to guarantee his availability. He likes to do pre-pregnancy appointments to do all the tests.

I am not sure if you are looking for a different dr, but I thought I would mention him. He always tells me that none of my questions are stupid (when in fact a great many are!) and always answers them honestly. I would feel completely comfortable calling him if I had any small concern as I know he understands my anxiety.

Good luck and I hope get the help you need to move forward with confidence

    Hi everyone,

Just want to start out by saying sorry for the lack of personals today...still swamped with work

But, Plc- Im so happy that everything is ok ...now you can start to enjoy it a bit more Im sure. Wishing you a H&H pg.

Welcome to all the new ladies in here, sorry my memory is shocking and I always loose my posts when I go back to the thread, so here is a huge to all of you.

AFM - I think im appraoching ov as cm is starting to become watery (sorry TMI). Like pbstar I feel this cycle is going very quickly, but as we all know, its the TWW that kills me...it drags on and on and on.....

Anyway, thats all for now, sending cyber to everyone,

    Issy

    Hello lovelies,

Abbey - Enjoy the bd fest as much as possible and gl catching the eggie. Sorry, can't offer any helpful suggestions on the "odour" - if it continues though and is still a worry then maybe a trip to the doctor?

Tina - Sorry to hear about the car troubles. Have fun in Syd and hopefully you would have been able to catch the egg before you go...

bettyboop - gl with the scan and test tomorrow,I hope you get some answers... let us know how you get on

issy - sorry that it feels like this won't be your month... I think sometimes because we are so intent on it happening for us each month it can take on a very "unreal" aspect - like it can never really happen for us. Good to hear that you are still staying strong and that you've had some nice encouraging o signs. gl for this month

AJC - great to hear that you're not scarpering off from ttcaml just yet! It is very encouraging to have you around and I'm so glad that this thread has continued to give you support. Not long now until you will get to see that lovely flickering jellybean on the scan! Here's some

jen - How great would it be if our bellybuttons lit up when we ovulated! (lol) Like AJC said you could still get pg if you o on day 26, you will then prob just have had a long cycle. My understanding is that the length of time before you o can vary widely between women, but that once you o, your "luteal" phase will almost always be 14 days (normal range for luteal phase length is 10-16 days). Sounds like the b6 is a good idea if your concrned. It is in my preggie vitamin I take right throughout my cycle - I'm sure it can't hurt taking it now? Thanks for the advice re "keeping it interesting" (lol) - dh has been enthusiastically downloading various "movies"... hey whatever works right?! Are you going to test in a few days? You are being such a cool cat and an inspiration to all the 2ww'ers!!

megsmum - gl with your fs appt and tests too..

jodsan - Glad to hear the juice/salad/vegie fast went well and gl with all the studying...

plc and mmteacher - bellyrubs and

afm - having some very encouraging "almost" o signs- lots of cm, and had a neg but very close to +opk this afternoon. So I reckon its prob o day wed (a couple of days earlier than normal). I've given dh and I the night off tonight in lieu of mega bd fest over the next few days... see you all when i come back up for air ( - lol)

    and everywhere...
