hi everyone ,alice-been feeling some cramping,so hope he/she getting a good spot.Bent over this afternoon & felt a sharp pain, hope i haven't disturbed something,i'm such a worry wart,i can't wait for you & murraycod to start your cycles in may, think it is agood sign of things to come...ttcalovechild-april 20 when i have my bt to see if this little embie has implanted, hope is good for both of us...jellylove-i know,we try with all our might to will that 2nd line...murraycod-lovely to see your name again, you've been missed around here lady..t-hopes-hope your dad's surgery goes well,he sound like a fighter..ferrals-have fun with that dh of yours, might be a bit hard with all those kids around...mildez-sorry for the bfn..afm-can't say thank you enough to you all
Well, i caved and POAS two days early yesterday and of course BFN swiftly followed by start of stomach cramps, headaches and later yesterday, AF. *sigh*...Feeling generally cr*ppy but will feel better when the hormone storm passes I think and i am into the 'O' phase and the hopefulness of another month.
T-hopes: hope all goes well with your dad's surgery.
Mildez: sorry for BFN
Murray cod: welcome back. Well done on all the blood taking and good luck for the biopsy. It's hard coming up to milestones like birthdays isn't it? It makes you reflect and sometimes that's not a comfortable thing. But just remember you are still young. I hope turning 30 will be just the start of a run of good things for you.
Hi Bons, sorry you're feeling 'meh' and double whammy of DH away. Lots of hugs to the furbabies for comfort hey?
Alice: I know what you mean about feeling bad when you seen others pregnant at same stage as you should have been. One of my circle of friends announced her 12 wk pg the same week i lost my 12wk baby. She recently had her baby and i still (4wks later) have not sent congratulations. I can get away with it because we are usually in contact via mutual friends rather than directly but i think i'm really just avoiding it because i feel sad about how we both should have had babies by now.
Kitfaerie can relate to you too: I feel sad when i see women with pregnant tummies or pushing young babies in prams. I too am trying to distract myself by thinking of good food to eat in the next 2 weeks that is outlawed when pregnant.
Too late for more personals for tonight so will just say hello to all the other lovely ladies. It's getting too hard to do everyone in one go, sorry. GOod luck to all those in the uncertain TWW.
Possum - sorry for your BFN Hope AF leaves you in peace soon and you can start a new cycle. I do hope you are out of here soon - too many of us, I agree, would love to see us all in the BB forums.
Mildez about your BFN too. That sucks. Hope the baby fairy visits you this month, and then can you please give her directions to rest of us? We need a few more bust outs as this thread is getting too big!
MatthewsMum - I hope that little one is snuggling in. Oh god it's hard doing that wait - it's the TWW with all the months before added onto it when you can't try naturally isn't it? I have everything crossed for you.
Sorry for no more personals this morning, feeling v. blue. Wondering why I'm still here after all these years, whether I should bother with this cycle, seems impossible to hope it'll work, just feeling generally squashed. And scared of trying yet again. Feel old and useless. Even my friends with kids are all starting to get their lives back (that's how they describe it) and aren't really interested in the whole baby stage anymore. Think they wonder why we keep trying. Why are we still trying? Feel like my life has been in a holding cycle for so long I just have no idea what I'm doing anymore. Blah, sorry. Hope we have some more good news stories in here soon. love to everyone,
Alice-we all feel down and at the end of our teather from time to time we all worry about our age and if it's to late or just not going to happen for us and i definitley know the feeling of a holding cycle we had to wait about 7 months for genetic testing before our ivf and the whole time my biological clock was ticking away this whole ttc is hard and stressful and can really suck sometimes but we need to keep going if we want our dream and you were so close you got your 1st ever BFP in Dec that was not long ago so it will happen for you just hang in there and believe that you can do this.
Possum magic-Sorry the witch turned up at your place and i agree with you there are to many ladies to reply to all at once so i try to reply to the gals in need who are down in the dumps they need it more and the other ladies i catch up with when it's their turn to feel a bit MEH! as Bon's says the escapees who got their BFP i wish them luck and know that they get the support in the pregnancy thread.
Mathewsmum-the cramping is normal from the progesterone support and bending ,sex and coughing will not make a difference to your embie implanting if it sticks it sticks so please don't worry try to relax in the thought that you could be our next BFP
AFM-19 day's until i bring Mowgli home so that is giving me something to look forward to. my estrogen is still rising the E2 line on my CBFM is real faint i am just waiting for that LH line to darken but i am only on day 8 so we will see if i O on time or late like last month i seem to have one normal month of 28-29 days and O on day 13-14 then the next is a 31-33 day cycle with O on day 16 i wonder if that is from the IVF messing me up or age related.
Alice darling I know it's hard. Im sorry you are having a down moment as you said earlier, the time has gone so quick, and hopefully the next 6 weeks can too. Honey we can be a hormonal mess together X
Out of a very large group of friends, I have only 1 friend who has yet not had a bubba, but she is going through her thirt IVF donor egg cycle.
Sometimes it is hard to face real life, with all of children running about, and the general discussion is sleeping, feeding, blah blah chitter chatter about eachothers children, the worst one that seems to continuously get braught up around me ATM, is birthing stories. Yeup, the one and only, well I don't know whats worse, that, or the one where it goes "You never know what true love is until you hold your baby in your arms".....so what? Because I'm infertile, I don't know how to love?? Sorry for the rant girls!!!!!!!!!
All in all Alice, you and I will get to May, put our Confident Capps on, and Stim like 2 girls have never stimmed before! Then die together in our TWW!!
Ferrals honey, actually, it does make sense....that you have 2 different cycles each month. Yes our bodies have minds of their own, but mabey your ovaries do too!! Mabey one is more productive than the other? Sort of makes sense anyway...
Hopefully you won't have to worry about working it out for too much longer, because you and I will be busting outta here soon enough XXX
OOOh 19days!! How exciting!!!!!
Crafty, do you remember when you mentioned about knitting baby socks??? I would sure love a pair, I can stick them under my pillow like Ferrals did when she got her BFP, plus I would just love for you to make me a pair, because I love knitted baby clothes!!!
How you doin girlfriend?!?!?!
Possum, hiney so sorry that it wasn't your month. Honey new cycles at the start can be sooo up hill, but once you get over your initial dissapointment, a week has gone by, and you will be looking to catch that eggie all over again. Isn't it funny, we all hate the dreaded TWW so much, but ache to get there every month!!
Huggs to you Possum, it will be ok XXXXX
Mildez, will you ever get the chance to do another IVF cycle? Im so sorry to hear you are getting AF X Take care of yourself darling XX
Matthew'sMum, your doing great XXXXX I hope you are drinking truckloads of water XXX
I had to drink at least 2 litres a day to help prevent OHS. What support medicine are you on if any? I had to use those disgusting Crinone Pessaries each night, and had Estradot Patches. The pessaries can cause cramping too. But cramping can be a good sign. I think I googled every possible thing each day of my TWW, something I will not be doing next time, I wen't completely bonkers!!
THopes, Oh honey, I am so sorry to read about your Dad XX I hope he is doing ok X Huggs to you and your Family, you are all going through such a rough time.
My FIL had tripple heart bypass last year the day before I miscarried. It scares me to think, that he knows all of his grandchildren from every sibling, other than DH and I. So I know how you are feeling.
Honey take it easy on yourself. Things will be ok X And we are all here to help you get through it all XXXX
Jellylove, thanks hun X
AFM, no new news, getting morre bloods done tomorrow.
OOOHHHHH hurry up 16th April, I have preordered the NewMoon DVD, and it has been worse than a TWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Am so in Loooove with Edward!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Everyone,
Just got back from Dropping DH to the airport...
Mathews Mum - I think you should put on a movie or get a good book and relax for the afternoon with your DH bringing you cups of tea!
Alice - It will all be ok! Be very Brave and know that you will have that beautiful baby in your arms wrapped up in yours and DH's love. it will happen! xxx
T-Hopes - I hope your Dads surgery goes well, Im sure he will be fine, he sounds like he has a lot of fight left in him yet!
Ferrals - Your bulldog is beautiful! I love the markings on her face!I will attatch pic of my princess at the end, 9 kids in one house!!!! that is a lot of noise I hope you and Dh have some ear plugs or somewhere to escape too!
Murraycod - Glad you are back! hope your bt come back all good, im having visions of you and alice standing next to each other with big bellies holding your backs! xxx
Murrycod-I am watching twilight right now Edward yummy! shame DH not home for me to pounce on.
I have new moon to watch when i get home from work.
And when i think about it the naturopath said my right ovary is pumping out eggs and real fertile and my left is just normal plotting along so hope i pop a you bute egg from my right this month.
xxx thanks Ferrals, MC, Bons. I'm a blubbering mess today. Don't know how I'm going to hold it together for this cycle when I feel like this already. Ferrals, I think MC could be right - I have a diff. cycle length from each ovary -one longer than the other and one more active than the other so maybe that's it? Take care all x
Ferrals, How did you get the NewMoon movie so early?? Victoria doesn't get it until the 16th!!!!! Not Fair
Watched Twilight last night....again....sigh....
I have all of the books, I have read them once and am dying to read them again, but saving them for my cycle next month to help keep me sane, in another world!
Alise honey, your body is getting ready to do this. It's almost time. It is a big lead up for you, so just take each day as it comes, if you need to shed a tear, do so, it will make you feel better X I'm sure I am going to be like this soon, just hasn't hit me yet
Alice my love, ok, so today your a mess, that's fine, you can even be a mess tomorrow if you want, that's fine too, but in no way shape or form are you to give up, ok? If you really want, you can even go from a TTC mess to a UTD mess to a tired Mummy mess. You'll get through the next cycle because your strong enough to get through the next cycle. And when your holding your baby all your friends will go ''Awwww" and remember how sweet babies are! You can do this, even when it gets hard and it hurts. May will be wonderful.
Murraycod: So glad your back! Missed you soo much! I've got new moon on the cpu. Edward makes me think bad things, lol. Good luck with bloods tomorrow! It will be worth it xo
Ferrals: Your puppies are adorable! We had a rotti x doberman who weighed more than my dad, lol, he was the sweetest dog though. I always thought it was funny that ppl were a bit scared of him, he was just a big softie I really like ''proper" dogs, IYKWIM, lol!
Possum Magic: I'm sorry darling, this month is it! Deep breaths and positive thinking!
Bah, ok I'm done now, sorry for everyone I missed. Um, I have a bit of a hangover, lol. 4 glasses of wine = hangover for me now, my 21yr old self would be so disappointed in me. So I'm gonna go make friends with my couch, cos I'm not gonna leave him for the rest of the day!
afternoon all ,alice-your still here because you know in your heart all the ttc well be worth it when your holding your newborn baby in your arms & that little baby is going to be so lucky to have such a caring & compassionate mum such as you. We're all here for you & will be throughout the high's & low''s of ivf..possummagic-sorry about bfn...ferrals-hope all our bfp are not far away...murraycod-i'm on progesterone pessaries morning & night,& anyone who knows you, would know how loving you are, people just don't think sometimes...bons-hope tonight not to hard for you &ds with dh being away..kitfarie-hope the hangover leaves soon...how are the ladies who we haven't heard from for a while???
Ferals - Yeah, hopefully you're right... Enjoy bd-ing and best of luck
Matthew's Mum - Sometimes you stare so hard at the test that you start to imagine things haha! Best of luck for the 20th
possum magic - So sorry for your BFN, Stay positive hun
Alice - You are still here because you are going to get that BFP you've waited so long for try to stay positive hun, I know it is hard sometimes but it will be worth it in the end
AFM - Well I tested this morning (4 days before AF is due - I think I see a super super super faint line!!! however... gonna test again in morning and see if it's any darker or if I'm just imagining it having some cramps (only minor though) no sore boobies for me Oh how I long for sore boobies and morning sickness
Murraycod welcome back I so missed you so glad your not giving up, you are not allowed to before me you here me I am the oldtimer here and if I carry on then so do all you other ladies you HEAR ME !
Alice I want you to give yourself a pat on the back and say its ok this journey is hard and painful every step of the way but you know what I am made of strong stuff and I can do this and I WILL GET MY BABY ! then take a deep breath and beleive in yourself !
I know how hard it is at times the girls on here know how hard I have been on myself in recent months but we have to have a break down every now and then its al the pressure, but the main thing is we never give up hope and our dreams !
Ferrals the line on the right of the cbfm is that the line you are talking about going lighter ? because mine is really light today !
I have different cycles one long and then the next month short real short, so looks like that could be the reason for it ! Keep smiling and keep beleiving looks like we both ovulated from the good side on the same month !
Bons hope your couch is comfy ! sleep well
matthews mum go girl your TWW will be a lot harder this time but will be your last one !
everyone else must go now my daughter was 6 today and i HAVE TO READ A NEW BOOK TO HER ! DORA !
Can't let this day go past without remembering our 2nd loss. Today would have been little Easter babies due date. No one else seems to have remembered, including DH. Granted this one was with us the least amount of time but it still matters a great deal to me. Bless you my little one.
SammyP, my heart goes out to you darling, I am so sorry XXXXX
Crafty, yeah you ain't getting rid of me yet
KitF............... Good on ya!!! Hope you feel better tomorrow LOL
Matthew'sMum, yeah I know the pessaries youre talkin about, it was the worst part for me, they made me cramp vey nasty every single day.
Jellylove, I hate the feeling of nausea, but bring it on if it means there is a baby growing inside! When I fell PG last year I had no sore boobs, no nausea, no symptom. The only thing I had was constant AF cramping, which was obviously a bad sign for me.
Hey girls, I actually worked out how to add photos finally to my album!! Will have to organise some more now!! have a good sleep all XXXXX
Loops and Ric, and Sunbeam, if you girls are lurking, I miss chatting to you XXXXX
Murrycod-I couldn't help myself i had to look.
And i got the new moon from a friend of a friend i have read the first 3 books i enjoyed them but when i watched the movies i knew what was going to happen so spoiled it a bit but i still loved all the hot bod's yummy!
Crafty-the line that is dark when you 1st start testing gets lighter as your E2 rises and then you should get a high reading on the monitor then as that line gets lighter the LH line will go real dark when you have your surge then the E2 line goes back to dark again after your LH surge and that LH line goes back to light i keep all my sticks to compare them and i number them it helps.
SammyP-aww hun sorry you are having a rough time us women hold on to every little memory and the dates they mean a lot to us and are important for our grieving.
men and people around us that have not experienced a loss just don't understand that we hang on to these things it will be ok.
Where are the old gals that left here Co co, Anila ,sunbeam how are you doing?
AFM-nothing much happening other than i brought some new undies and now have crack chaffing from doing a 10 hour shift at work so i am sitting here with a sore bum thinking should i forget Bding tonight or grin and bear it.
oh ferrals my eyes are watering thinking about being chaffed !
I was a bit sore from bdancing the other day but after 2 glasses of wine well feels ok so I best get to bed and hope he is still awake !!
Did I tell you I got the soft cups they arrived friday so after the deed I pop one in and make sure I don't loose any little spermies, was so glad I found the info on the web its much more comfy than having your ass on a cushion all night long don't tell anyone what we have to do just to get UTD its shameful !
Sammy P I know how you feel it sucks when no-one understands we remember the dates and greive a little more when they approach be kind to yourself and know you are not alone we all feel the same !
