LOL @ drowned egg! Lets hope the sperm and egg are doing their own ''thang'' to get together. Good luck for this TWW ferrals, hopefully it's the last one so make it a good one! You and DH could shuffle off for a sneaky one in the closet together on your walking frames :)
MatthewsMum: I wouldent reach any conclusions til you know the blood test results. Thinking of you!
Hope everyone has a good weekend! I have this essay to finish (900 more words to go, yippee!) and some BD'ing to do!
Love to everyone!

Hi lovely ladies
Saffy ~ hi, hope you're well
Mummyof4 ~ Happy you got a great heartbeat. Im not really up with it all either but  everything will be fine. Sounds like it might be just a mix up with dates and timing, FX
KitF ~ Oops LOL, my spelling sometimes is pretty crap! Baby Dance - I like that. Have fun BD'ing then LOL. Good luck with your essay xo
Matthews mum ~ Still hoping eveything is ok for you, might be breakthrough bleeding. Must be hard - big hugs and FX xx
Ami ~ FX for you! :stickyvibesboy::stickyvibesgirl:
T-hopes ~ hi, hope you're well. FX for you
Murraycod ~ hi hun. KitF said that BD is baby dance. I like bed dancing too though LOL
Hugs xo
Alice ~ I like your positive attitude, thanks. Hope you're well and hugs back xo
Mildez ~ hi and hope the time goes quick for your next IVF try. But hope you get there naturally in the mean time.
Ferrals ~ Hugs. It is exhausting all this isnt it, worth it in the end though! Sorry you've had a rough trot. Hoping you get a fertilised egg after you drowned it LOL, FX
Jenna ~ Sounds like there could be a chance still, FX. I love hearing about your son walking, must be exciting. :pink-babydust::bluedust:
Milly'd ~ thanks hun and same to you. WTF's with your friend. Hope that doesnt offend but is she still a friend? xo
Jellylove ~ Hi and hope your body sorts itself out. GL
Sorry for anyone Ive missed and I wish you all well wherever you are at on this TTC journey. Hope to see some BFP's very soon.
AFM ~ Waiting for AF, havent had her for 2 months that's with the IVF cycle and the loss so now would be about the time I should get her I think. I do feel she is on the way. Would be nice to get a surprise BFP though. Highly doubtful but you can still hope.
-
Hi guys, enjoying a beautiful Victorian evening here,
Loops- I'm good thanks, hope a surprise bfp does come your way before AF does, some people do get them when they are least expecting it x
Kitfaeirie- hope your essay is going well and no writer's block, I'm so glad that part of my life is over for a while, what are you studying?
Matthew'sMum- hope you are holding up ok, xx
Alice- your mum sounds lovely, what a sweet thing to say, mine means well but is often untactful about having 3 daughters but no grandchildren!!
Mildez- Are you a midwife? I am too, thats a shame you have to work with so many pregnant people, most of my colleagues are way past their childbearing years. I hope you don't have too many encounters with tactless patients x
Ferals-your work sounds like a nightmare as well, must be so frustrating to have to listen to them all banging on with rubbish all day. Good luck with TWW.
Jennajayen- wow that must have been exciting to watch your DS's first steps, good on him!
millyD- sorry to hear your friend upset you, people don't think before they speak, its so hard to always have to keep a smile on your face isn't it?
jellylove- your cycle must be driving you mad! Hope it all settles into a nice bfp!
THopes- today was a beautiful day, hope it keeps up for the weekend, how is your TWW going?
For everyone else I missed:pink-babydust:
AFM- Had some spotting and cramping this morning so thought AF was coming a few days early, then nothing since, so against my better judgement haven't been able to stop thinking about the possibility it was implantation. This happens every month and is so frustrating, as I know the spotting will continue and turn into AF, I have no other symptoms except my usual sore boobs which mean nothing- so annoying as I had come to terms with the fact AF was coming and now I will be dissappointed again when she does
-
maybe not Saffy....are you doing what I do and trying to trick yourself into believing that you truly believe you are not pregnant and have given up this months hope....hahahaha I do that every month...when I am truly deep down thinking it probably is implantation hehehe we crazy girls. I hope it was implantation beautiful lady, i really do xxxxxxxx
-
KitFaerie - I know....! wont get too crazy about it at the moment you know :) I'm bleeding quite heavily so at least i know this is AF and she should be gone in 5 days, if things are normal after she's gone i think we'll still bd :D
-
All of a sudden it's 930pm and I've got Chaucer to read & uni work to do, and have spent ages trawling through all of this, AND working out that DH & I are blowing about $2000 a month out of our budget on CRAP! Seriously boggles the mind...
Quickly - thinking of you MatthewsMum, I'm amazed what you & other women like you on here go through with IVF, I think you're all incredible, it must be terribly hard.
Saffy - isn't it amazing what we can talk ourselves into? And each & every month, it's like a form of torture.
Fingers crossed for your BFP Loops!
Mildez - life just isn't fair is it? It constantly shocks & saddens me that so many people that don't appreciate or cherish their children fall pregnant so easily, yet there are so many that would DIE for that blessing and it just can't be reached. Don't ever lose hope though...
Jellylove - our bodies are minefields, you just don't know where to step next. I hope things start evening out for you soon! Has the bleeding stopped?
JennaJayen - yay DS! It's so amazing how they grow, and always too fast. My DS is 3 in July & he's at a delightful cheeky/backchatting stage. When I tell him not to be cheeky he says "MUM! I AM going to be cheeky."
KitFaerie - some people in our lives really don't deserve to be there. Don't let other people bring you down, particularly when they're obviously insensitive twats, just appreciate the good people you have. xoxo I'm also interested in hearing what you're studying? I'm doing a BA through Open Universities at the moment, and I'm waaaaaaaaaay behind. I'm doing 2 units this study period, one in Great Books & the other in the Making of Australia.
Alice - your mum sounds really sweet, my best friend says the same to me, though hers takes a more religious tone, in "When God decides it's the right baby, he'll send it your way. What is meant to be, will be." Gosh nearly broke out into Que Sera then... "whatever will be will be, the future's not ours to see, que sera, sera..." Jeez I think I need to get to bed... :)
Ferrals - sticky vibes heading your way! Sounds like you need a rest after all that BD'ing!
Dory - hope you're still feeling well, are you going to find out the gender of your baby?
T-Hopes - How's things? Did you have a look at that website? Although you might not now that you love eggwhite so much... It still gives me a giggle!
Sorry to anyone I've missed, I've gone through 2 pages of backlog to try & get to everyone, but know that I'm thinking of you. It's so busy in here! If it were a real cafe we'd have people complaining about all the noise...
AFM: Went to dr's for my 2nd BT's today. The lady taking my bloods looked at me askance and asked "Weren't you just in here last week getting BHCG levels?". I told her that the levels were really low, and due to my miscarriage last year we just wanted to check that everything was on the up and up. I also mentioned that when I saw the dr last week, his POAS didn't come up with a positive, so she goes "Oooh let's do one now!" and of course, not one to turn down a free POAS, I agreed! So did the test and got a BFP straight away, very dark! I can't tell you the relief I felt, like a weight lifted off my shoulders. Certainly I still feel the threat of the miscarriage, and don't think that I will feel truly "safe" until I'm past the 12 week mark (at least! I lost the last one at 8 weeks) but to have a real definitive BFP just totally lifted my spirits. For the past week, even though I've had the sore boobs & slight all day nausea, I've not really wanted to believe it was true, not wanting to get my hopes up too high, you know? I'm keeping my fingers tightly crossed for this one to stick around, but now I believe I am pregnant.
Now I'm keeping my fingers crossed for more BFP's in here - never lose hope ladies! xoxox
-
Hi everyone,
Ami love that's really great news - well done!! It would be a big relief for you. I have a close friend whose pg always started low with negative POAS tests so looking good for you now hey? Fingers crossed all goes well for the next three months - try to enjoy every minute of it and not think too much about the next weeks (easier said than done, I know! I remember how apprehensive I was about the scan)(I lost my little one at 8 weeks too). How are you finding Chaucer? Some of it is actually v. funny but it can be a bit hard to get into. Interesting subjects you're studying. Are you doing a BA in English Lit?
Saf, my mum isn't always tactful about the grandchild thing either. In fact she often complains to me that she only has one (she has two now after my brother's new partner had her first with IVF at 44 after one try - I love my niece but it hurt a lot that they were so lucky first up when we've been at it for so long). Sometimes I tell her that she's lucky to be even having that conversation with me 'cause it doesn't look like I'll ever have kids, never mind grandkids, so she should consider herself v. lucky! Poor Mum, she cops it sometimes but we are v. close and she knows that there's no one else I can talk to about my grief and she is very loving. I try not to vent but sometimes it just gets to me! I agree that people often don't think before they speak and it can be very hurtful. I hope the cramping is implantation cramping - IKWYM about that sort of thinking - ah the things we do to ourselves!
Loops, hope AF doesn't keep you waiting too long and you can get back to TTC.
Kit, good luck with the essay - what's it on? I'm glad you're friend agreed with you about that s***ful comment. It is just plain ignorance and I guess, as they say, ignorance is bliss and hopefully she'll realise what she said and be sorry. I've never really gotten over my friend's comment - when you've been through loss and grief it isn't something you'd ever wish on anyone else and it was awful to think she thought that in some way I'd be happpy that someone else was suffering. Go drown that egg :)
Jellylove - hope things settle down soon - very confusing what our bodies go through after a mc.
MillyD - I can't remember who has the Pram of Justice but time to pass it on to you. Give her a good whack why don't you? Like Saf says, some people really just don't think before they speak. Which doesn't mean you can't give her a good whack! I'm' sorry she said something so hurtful to you - she obviously has no idea what you're going through.
Jenna - temp is sounding good! Keep us posted
Ferrals - good luck with the TWW.
Bons - How are things with you? Thanks for asking about the diet. I'm trying not to think of it as things I can't have so much as things to avoid to make it a bit easier. Planning to get myself organised this weekend with food to take to work etc. I'm feeling OK actually and not as tired as I was so that's promising. I'll do my best - won't be able to stick to it religiously 'cause it just ruins your life and you get resentful. We're not machines after all!! But boy was it hard not to have a beer last night after work. Beer o'clock is out for now :( :)
Mildez,  So sorry you are feeling like this. Life is cruel, that's one of the hardest things about our journeys here - it is just so damn hard sometimes, especially when there are others around us who are oblivious to what they have. And as a nurse having to care for them, that must be even harder. I hope Sept comes around quickly and you only have to do one IVF and it brings you your longed for bubba. Loosing 4 kilos is great! It's so hard to loose weight after pg and mc and IVF, it just doesn't seem to want to shift so good for you that you've lost that already!
TTCaLC - just wanted to say of course you still belong here - don't worry about things moving so fast, just pop in when you can. You've got a lot on your plate with these kids, we all understand.
Hi to everyone else - have a great weekend and hope everyone is doing OK. Crafty, we haven't heard from you in a while? MurryCod - resting up after all those bloods?
MatthewsMum -
Bye now,
Alice x

So i thought i'd pop in here and pester you all.
Ami-congratz on your nice dark BFP.
Loops12-there is always hope and wouldn't it be nice to have a surprise BFP when you least expect it.
Saffy-Aren't our bodies a nightmare to try and read with all the signs and symptoms of pregnancy and AF being the same it sends you around the bend i hope is was implantation spotting i myself have never had it but anything is possible.
AFM-My CBFM reading this morning was back down to a high reading so my LH line has disapeared and the estrogen line is dark as again so i can relax in the thought that we are in with a good chance i had started all my chinese herbs at the begining of my cycle so hope that helps now it is just a waiting game again

Alice - what is happening with your May cycle?
Ami - So glad your POAS was a dark positive, hope the HCG keeps rising for you!
Jellylove - Hope your cycle settles down into a normal one for asap, I know just how frustrating it can be, as does everyone else here!

Murraycod - Hugs sweety xxx
Millyd - Some ppl are idiots, I am struggling to not say something to these people, I dont think they realise how cruel and insensitive they are being. Maybe you should just tell her to F##k off, im sure you have nicer friends than that one xxx

hugs to all xxx
-
Bons you poor darling I'm feeli'n ya, I get terrible cramping with AF, I always have had. Hoping next month is yours XXXXX
TTCALC, I am 5 1/2 hrs away from my FS.............Good luck with your court day honey, we are all barracking for you XX And hope all of your tests bring good news X
Ferrals, LMFAO at you!!!! Saw your post in the other thread, and laughed so loud!! Stalker!!!!
Have a lovely weekend honey, lets hope this TWW goes quickly for you, and is your last one for a looooooong time!XX
I have been thinking of hanging around the LTTTC thread for a few days, but just can't stand to be away from the close friendships I have made here. Esp you
Jellylove I don't blame you for wanting to BD this comming 'O' time, I hope your cycles can smooth out to some sort of normality for you, but take comfort in knowing it has happened to many of us here, so don't stress that there is anything wrong ATM XXX
Thanks for the message Alice XXXXX Yeah I am so sick of having those needles stuck in my veins, and the stupid cow yesterday, took the blood from the artery in the crease of my arm, not a vein, so I had so much trouble yesterday afternoon, my arm still aches, and I got a few bleeds on the way home, I was really worried. And after all of that, I have the biggest bruise there now, I look like a junkie.
Ami, glad to hear you got a good dark line. Keep well.
Saffy, LOL, yeah as much as I kidd myself every month into ignoring all possible signs or symptoms, i still get my hopes up....secretly....
Fingers crossed for you X
Loops honey, the first natural cycle after my IVF was a very long one, I think your body gets so beefed up with the meds, it exhausts itself and has a bit of a lazy month. So with that in mind, plus your loss, your body may very well be in a 'go slow' mood.
I am pretty sure Ferrals had a long month after her IVF stims too.
Kit, a big MWAH to you too honey, and yeah, Crafty, where are you my dear?? Knitting?;)
Hello to everybody, huggs to you all XXXXXXXXXXX
Me, more darn bloods on Monday, 'humph'.
Got some friends comming over for tea, so going to get stuck into the wine tonight!
-
Murrycod-he he told you if you left i would stalk you.
enjoy your wine i am jealous i wish i was there but as i am in the tww i have to be good.
And i know what you mean by not being able to move to a different thread i have made some great friendships here and it worries me what will happen when you all get your BFP and move on i will be lost without you if it weren't for you i would be a freaken nut bag.
TTCALC-you are part of the furniture here now so it doesn't matter if you can't post as often you have your hands full with kiddies.
Fingers crossed you get a BFP real soon.
Bon's- i have been visualising my egg and DH sperm doing the tango down my fallopian tube getting it on i am trying to be nice and relaxed having warm baths and just being good to myself.
Hope AF leaves real soon she is never welcome.
Loop's- murrycod is right my cycle was longer after my IVF and it took 3 cycles to get back to normal which was a pain in the butt as we were back to ttc the natural way.
Alice-hope all is well with you the waiting is awful isn't it.
Kit-how is the essay going?
Crafty-we miss you girl what's going on i know you are proberbly feeling a bit sh#tty right now but give those chinese herb's time to kick in and get working you would be in the tww wait now i hope you are keeping busy to take your mind off it.
AFM-waiting waiting waiting.

Hi Ladies
I'm new to this thread but not to this site. I usually hang out in the LTTTC assisted conception Thread.
Quick run down so far. This is my second marriage and my DH doesn't have any children. I have one of each. Any way I have PCOS and we had been trying for about 4-5 months before being diagnosed with PCOS. So off to the FS for Clomid. I did 6 rounds of clomid with no success so FS did a Lap and cycle 7 we got our BFP. And all up it took 12 months TTC.
First FS/Ob appountment at 6 weeks 2 days and we have a heart beat. Come to our next FS/Ob appontment at 10 weeks 3 days and no baby and no heart beat. Just an empty sac. So at 10 weeks and 4 days Wednesday 14/4/2010 I had a D & C.
Needless to say I'm very dissapointed, angry, heart broken etc.. I've come to accept it for what it is and I'm just waiting till my appointment with FS on the 28th so we can start 1 last clomid cycle before moving on to either IUI or IVF (DH has given me the option of IVF if I want to do that straight up instead of IUI first).
I'm shocked to say the least as it was only picked up via ultrasound. I had no bleeding or cramping to give me a clue.
So I'm wondering how long it takes for AF to come visit? I can't seem to find much info so far. FS said we could start trying straight away if we wanted to.
-
Just quickly before I forget - love you all, still catching up... had a computer free day or so. Arggh.
Ami - glad you got some reassurance! I am going to leave gender a sweet mystery. I want to have some sweet mysteries in life.
Be back when I have caught up. Always stuggling to keep up.
-
Welcome porsche. I am so sorry to hear about the lose of your precious bub. There are a number of us in here also that are LTTTCers. Hope you get another BFP very soon. As for AF generally it should arrive between 4-6weeks post D&C however it can be longer. And you also usually Ovulate (if you normally do) before AF arrives. Well more then 50% of people do but with PCOS maybe you will need the clomid to help. When can you start taking it again? I too am going straight to IVF over AI (if we get that far hoping for a natural BFP before then) as I only have one tube which is damaged so don't see the point doing AI when it would be cancelled if the egg was coming from the wrong side.
Hello to everyone else. Hope your all having a good weekend and baking up some babies or growing follies. CD5 for me so still very early on in my cycle.
-
Porche, warm welcome to this part of the forums  I am so sorry for your loss, it must have been very confusing for you XX
We are all here to help support you in any way we can, fingers crossed it doesn't take too long before you are back on the TTC wagon, each girl has had different experiences getting back to what we can call a normal cycle, I hope yours returns soon enough XX
I had 3 IUI attempts before heading to IVF, it was a waste of time for me, but hey, there is lady here who has fallen PG a few times with IUI, I guess whatever works for you.
Hope to enjoy the journey with you, honey look after yourself, be brave, and thanks for introducing yourself XXXXX
Ferrals, I ain't goi'n anywhere darling beutiful.......not this month anyway!;)
Geez you gave me a laugh though!!!!
I will be here to support you through this darn TWW if it kills us both!!!!!
Mildez, honey I am so happy for you that you are getting to have another brave try at IVF later on in the year. How's it going with DH? Just want to let you know, lay anything on us..ok?? That's what we are here for, I know my DH appreciates that I have a great fraternity of TTC ladies here to lay all of my TMI and whinging on, so I can leave him stay strong and only have to hear the positive mumbo jumbo I come out with.
Boy's can be funny, as excited as my DH gets with the IVF, it depresses him to have to put up with my lingo with it all, I don't think men are meant to know about cramps, sore nipples and EWCM changes!! Not to mention pessaries, spotting and implantation superstitions!! Poor things!!!!:shakehead:
Dory, love to you XXX
Well, my dinner night with friends was a bit of a fizzer.........was really in the mood for a few wines too.... My girlfriend and her partner turned up about 6ish with their 2yrold, her partner had been drinking all day and was falling asleep on our couch as soon as he sat down. I dished up the meanest vindalo curry, lasagne that I had been cooking all afternoon, garlic prawns and coconut rice (all bloody home made took me all damn day)
They ate and ran, because my poor GF was so ****ed at her partner they started arguing and he wanted to go to bed. They left at 750pm..............WTF!!!
-
Hi Ladies
Ferrals hi thanks for thinking of me I am ok I guess just trying to live my normal life before TTC and mc. I am in the TWW I think well my cbfm was a waste of time but I did a normal opk on weds and got a pos reading so I guess I did ovulate and I hope I caught the egg but lets face it in reality the odds are against me.
Murraycod shame about your gf and her dumb other half after all the trouble you went to I would have loved to come eat your curry and have a chat but I guess its a bit far away !
Still knitting a little but I also have 2 orders for pink girly quilts for my 2 dds they are 6 and 4 and eagerly waiting my creations so sorry not been in here of late.
Alice sorry your mum was not more tactfull think its their age mine is not tactful either and says things before she thinks, glad shes in the UK out the way to be honest ! :o can't beleive I just said that  my fingers are crossed for you that you get your little miracle real soon !
Porsche sorry you had to join us its sad we all have to be here but we do get lots of support and understanding so I guess we all in the same boat one way or another.
I took nealy 8 wks to get AF after D&C but I am older so that may well be the reason it took so long .
Matthews mum hope your ok and still holding onto your dream of a BFP real soon !
Everyone else sorry I forgot all your names there are too many of us on here thats real sad don't you think !
AFM
Sorry I been away for a while but to be honest this TTC journey is really getting to me infact I really feel that I can't give a sh*t anymore the whole process is just getting me down. I want to be the happy go lucky person I used to be before the mc last sept I have mc previouly but seemed to deal with it much better than I am at present ( but then I was younger and still in with a chance ) but now well 45 in 9 days time and lets face it girls I think I am out of the running !
-
