Murrycod-I couldn't help myself i had to look.
And i got the new moon from a friend of a friend i have read the first 3 books i enjoyed them but when i watched the movies i knew what was going to happen so spoiled it a bit but i still loved all the hot bod's yummy!

Crafty-the line that is dark when you 1st start testing gets lighter as your E2 rises and then you should get a high reading on the monitor then as that line gets lighter the LH line will go real dark when you have your surge then the E2 line goes back to dark again after your LH surge and that LH line goes back to light i keep all my sticks to compare them and i number them it helps.

SammyP-aww hun sorry you are having a rough time us women hold on to every little memory and the dates they mean a lot to us and are important for our grieving.
men and people around us that have not experienced a loss just don't understand that we hang on to these things it will be ok.

AFM-nothing much happening other than i brought some new undies and now have crack chaffing from doing a 10 hour shift at work so i am sitting here with a sore bum thinking should i forget Bding tonight or grin and bear it.

Did I tell you I got the soft cups they arrived friday so after the deed I pop one in and make sure I don't loose any little spermies, was so glad I found the info on the web its much more comfy than having your ass on a cushion all night long :shhh: don't tell anyone what we have to do just to get UTD its shameful !:ROFL:

AFM- my E2 line is sooooo faint which means it's real high i am just waiting for the LH surge i am on day 9 so hopefully it will be early this month and be day 11-12 when DH and i are home together DH and i are BDing every 2nd day for now.

Hi Murrycod thanks for asking after me. Yes I have been lurking a bit, just waiting to see my old friends get their BFPs.

I've been going okay. The psychology sessions have been helping greatly. I had my insem on saturday and we got a pretty good sperm count and I had 2 follies ready to go (first time I've had 2) so fingers crossed. The down side at the moment is that I'm sick with Laryngitis and on antibiotics and feeling crap. I'm only on day 2 of my TTW and already going nuts wanting to know. I will keep you updated. Miss you all huge hugs :grouphug:

SUNBEAM!!! YAY!!!! Hello :) I missed you! Hooray for 2 follies! Being sick is good, cos one of the first things babies do is lower your immune system so they wont be rejected (cos they're technically foreign to your body) so hopefully yours will just snuggle right in there :) Only ten more days to go til you can test! Or 12 if your planning on being a good girl, lol.

I'm a longterm lurker- started last year after my miscarriage...foolishly thought I wouldn't need to join as I had gotton preg so quickly that time.....a year later here I am still waiting for a BFP and getting older.

I have followed everyone's journeys on and off over the last year and really identified with the emotional rollercoaster, I've gotton so much support just from reading everyone's advice, etc, so now I'm here, hopefully I can support others as well.

I'm feeling down this week, as AF is due this weekend and I know its inevitable.

I got a negative blood test result :( I cried my heart out. I was so sure i that i was but i guess im not. :( Have to wait for AF now and than try again i guess.
pretty disapointed. We did it so many times when i was O and negative.

hmmmm just did a bit reading about lubes and a few sites recommend raw egg white!! WTF?? Has anyone done this??? Says to.....

~ Take a fresh egg
~ Leave it out to get to room temp
~ Crack it open and separate the yolk from the white
~ Mix the egg white up a bit to "break it up" with a clean fork
~ Use a pippette or a mini baster to collect about 15ml of egg white
~ Insert into the vagina
~ BD
~ Pray you don't get an infection (I didn't)
~ Wait 2 weeks and pray you get a BFP!

Heaps of woman said that they got their BFP's straight after doing this as its full of protein and assists the sperm??!
Hmm.... this seems a little wrong.... but i get the feelin i'll be whipping myself up an 'omlette' tonight! hehehehehehehhehe! :dance:

T-Hopes-sorry can't help with the lube thing because i have naturally high estrogen i have more than enough i am actually looking forward to menopause when i might dry up a bit but i still get sore when we BD a lot i have heard about egg whites i couldn't bring myself to ues it though and pre seed lube is sperm friendly try that.

Alice: Sorry you're feeling down. I guess you put yourself through this because the end result is so wonderful when it happens that it's hard to resist trying as long as you can. And it can happen. Just a little story to inspire you: I know of someone who married young (early 20's) then tried for a baby till she was nearly 40 when she fell pregnant with twins, a boy and a girl. (Not sure if it was natural or IVF but whatever it was it worked). So that could be you. I guess it must always be scary working up to a new cycle. Maybe you'll feel better once it's actually underway? Sending you hugs and some virtual chocolate! x

SammyP: It's natural to think of your baby around their EDD even if they only stayed with you a short time. Sorry for your loss.

Murray Cod: getting excited for it to get to May for you and tests over with and on to the good stuff.

T-Hopes: can sympathise with the chafing! Last month's efforts led to a roaring case of thrush (ahem..TMI, sorry!) Is it really true that lube interferes with conception?..cos the products usually say that they are NOT effective as contraception. As for the egg whites :o I'm imagining something very 'Naked Gun' (doesn't someone cook eggs and two strips of bacon on someone's sizzling stomach in a BD scene?!) Let us know how it goes...i'm not sure i can bring myself to try it! I believe that any sort of edible oil (eg olive) is also a possibility...seem to remember reading something about this...mind you I haven't tried it!

T Hopes- We definately have had some lubrication issues, resulting in thrush etc. Makes it wose that I am on Clomid atm, lets just say it dries you up a bit! I just bought something called "concieve plus" that I saw in a chemist made by a company called sasmar, I saw that forelife make one as well but couldn't find it in shops. I'll let you know how it goes, haven't used it yet. Good luck with your eggwhite in the meantime! x

MissK-Sorry AF turned up at your place also and i have heard to much vitamins is not good i was told to take 500mg of iodine after losing abbi to help with the cells in our embies and to help pass on the good genes but then after taking it for a year i was told to cut back as it is not got to take for to long.

Saffy-is that what we call it mature! my body is getting older but my mind just doesnt want to keep up and the sore boobs is a pain in the butt it use to be a great indication for me that i was pregnant now they are always sore after i O.

Iona Macca-I know it p###es me off where i work they are everywhere and i would be ok with it if they were deserving people but they are not the one i was talking about the other day who didn't really want to be pregnant and is a drugo smoking bimbo i worked with her on sunday night and all she whinged about was how fat she is going to get and that she is already putting on weight so she is not going to give up smoking because it will help keep her weight down i was like how dumb are you i would glady put on 50kg to have my Abbi back and i said if anything happens to this baby you will never forgive yourself but it went in one ear and out the other.

Good morning ladies, well I was in no rush to get up this morning as I didn't go to bed until late but was woken by a nosebleed, which is very very strange as i have probably only had one in my whole life! so I was freaking out and by the time i had tissue stuffed up my nose I was awake so I tested... I think it's a BFN :( I mean, it's not too early to test anymore... Is it? AF's due on thursday.... maybe I'll test again then but I'm not feeling too great. I have used a preg test called "precise" - not sure whether any of you are familiar with it... it's a + sign one. well the first test i did on sunday afternoon had a very faint line and (Don't ask me why) I checked it about an hour later and the line was very thin (VERY VERY THIN!) but it was (very dark)definitely there! :o now this test there is no line :( but it looks like in the middle of the horizontal line there is the beginning of a vertical line going upwards as if there is the beginning of a positive line there. I don't know whether this will make any sense to any of you, I'll test on thursday for the last time this cycle. i have a feeling it's going to be a bfn though. I guess what I thought was implantation was AF tricking me by coming so early! Argh... :wall:

Jellylove I have found Precise to be very imprecise! Get ye to the supermarket/chemist and get a first response. The + sign tests are known to be hard work. Try not to drink too much from now on, and in about 4-5 hours test with a 1st response and you should have a good idea. :hug:

oh jellylove, :hug: hopefully it may just be too early I know with my last pregnancy, I was so emotional a few days before AF so decided to do a test and it came back BFN. So waited until AF was late and tested again and got a BFP

Inanna - You know I thought there was something crazy about the test - just lines all over the place! :lol: I have to work this afternoon so I might not get chance to do one until i get home, but i wont drink much at work :D I'm glad you told me about that test. fingers crossed!

Im not sure if im going to test, maybe in a few days if AF doesnt show up, but I really think we missed this month and if AF doesnt hurry up i will miss next as well cuz DH is only home for 4 days out of the next month :shakehead:

Matthews'Mum, I totally understand how you are feeling at the moment. During my IVF TWW, I had moments of feeling like bliss and excitement, to absolute doom that it had not worked. The rollercoarster you are on ATM is a huge one, the pessaries you are using can have nasty side affects, so just go gentil on yourself honey XX

I know 30 isn't old, but I had intended to have a family by the time I was 30, so I guess I have 4 weeks to pop a few out!!XX
I'm starting to get sick of celebrating christmas, easter, birthdays with no children of my own. I'm expected to remember and get a gift for all of the family on their birthdays xmas ect, but I am never remembered by them....not that I'm deliberately forgotten, but because DH and I are the only ones without children in the family, we are sort of put on the back burner for celebrations and visits by the MIL.
It upsets me.
Sometimes...........I know it is totally wrong of me to think this way.......but sometimes I feel like when I do have a baby, I am going to tell a few family members to bugger the hell off.

Saffy, nice post for a newbie!!XX I find that if i stress about an upcomming AF, I will stress it away for an extra few days, which is totally unhealthy for my sanity!! So darling, go with the "flow"....didn't pick the greatest of words then hmmmm...... just go with it. We are all here to help you get through each month atleast with a smile every now and then, we can all do this babe, it's just a matter of when our turn will be.
