    Hi everyone

Took me ages to catch up on all your posts! And it's beyond me to write personals for everyone. Welcome to the newcomers, sorry to see you in this thread, and hope you won't be here long. And Fingers Crossed for everyone waiting to O, or in the TWW, or waiting on results.

Leyla - I looked at your chart, to me it looks like you might have O'd on CD19, and if you have a 35 day cycle that would be about right wouldn't it, with a 14 day luteal phase?

Salt - have been following your story, can't believe the clot is still there! Though it sounds like OB doesn't think it's a major issue.

Satya - maybe you should go back and ask the questions, or phone him and ask? I just turned 41 so I know what you mean about time ticking by...

I got my coverline from FF today and am now in the TWW. Hopefully it will go by without me obsessing too much.

    Hi everyone,

Congrats on the BFP to sarah066. Sending heaps of your way.

Las, Maz & SallyJ - I am tossing up if I should go back to the same doc or take my hormone results to another one. He really didn't sound like he knew what the results meant - he thought I might have PCOS, then suddenly says everything looks fine after looking at the u/s and just tells me to keep trying. Happy to do that, but I'd hate to be wasting time if things are not as they should be. English is also not his first language so he's difficult to understand as well so all in all I think maybe a new gp might be on the cards.

There is a new clinic opening nearby both work and home soon so I think I may go there as soon as it opens. Hopefully then I will get some peace of mind.

My mood swings appear to be a thing of the past much to the relief of my DF & myself.

    Hi Maz,

Thanks for the advice but as I live in the outer s/e suburbs and work full time it would be incredibly difficult for me to have regular appointments in the city and still keep my job.... have to pay the mortgage somehow. I will probably just go somewhere local for some more hormone tests and see how they come up. If it looks like there is a problem then I may ask to be referred on to a FS somewhere fairly local. My last experience with a FS was not a good one - he was clearly only interested in women who wanted to go on IVF (I didn't want to go there) & had no sympathy when I had an early m/c. This was many years ago and it put me right off having any treatment at all..... until I met my new partner. The whole long term TTC took it's toll on me back then so I'm trying to keep as positive as possible and hope that the recent m/c was just due to my age. I guess time will tell.

Hi everyone, so sorry that I have been AWOL for a while but our computer crashed and my DH had to completely rebuild it and he only managed to do that this weekend.

Welcome to the newbies, so sorry that you have to be here.

Congratulations Sarah, that is fantastic news lots of for you.

Salt, so sorry to hear that the clot is still there, glad that your specialist has a plan of action for you though.

As for me, I am on CD 11, lots of creamy cm, that I think is turning EW, got a strong result line on my OPK today, but still not a +ve, hoping to get one in the next day or so, and have warned DH to make sure he doesn't forget to take any of his vitamins, feeling very positive this month, so we will catch my eggie.

Had a busy afternoon/night DH and Jordan went to the driving this afternoon, just like every sunday afternoon, today though they got home a little earlier, and Jordan had been crying, apparently while they where practicing on the putting green DH did a chip shot that went high into the air and landed right on Jordan's head, he had a lump the size of a golf ball on the side of his head and we took him up to A&E just to be safe, they where going to keep him for 4 hours obs, but after 2 hours, Jordan was behaving normally, headache had gone, and he was hungry, so we came home, the poor little bugger, had dinner and then crashed out, he was happy to hear that he gets a day off school tomorrow as he has to go to GP for a check up since we left A&E before the 4 hours where up.

Sorry for lack of personals, but there where just way too many to catch up on, hopefully our PC will behave itself from now on.

Heck, I can't catch up either - it's just too busy!!

Well done Sarah for the , that is just the sort of news we need!!!

Sharon - your CM sounds perfect (IFYKWIM!!), so hoping to not hear from you for a few days now!! Save your focus (and stamina!!!) Poor Jordan - I have banned Anthony (our 10yr old) from anything more than Tiger Woods PS2 - it would be him causing chaos not my DH!!!

Salt - good luck with the Clot Busting plan - be nice to be rid of it but good news it may not be too much of a issue?

Satya - def. shop around for a new FS, they are working for you, that;s why you pay them! Think of him as shoes - if they hurt you, chuck 'em and get a new pair!! Oooh, that sounds like shopping to me!!!

Maz - sorry no good news with the testing, Jed will just HAVE to keep trying, the poor hard-done-by sweetie!!!

Leyla - hope the cycle is making more sense, could be worse, you could have mine (see below!!)

Sally - good to 'see' you back, hope the TWW is treating you well, awful place!!

Lisa - how you doing?? Can't 'page back' to find you so hope good things happenign for you too!

Well, as for me - who flippin' well knows???

I am 28 days post-D&C and haven't had AF yet which is really awful. By the time my 2 year-old was 6 weeks old, I was pregnant (hence my 1-year old) if that makes any sense (mind puddled at the moment) and I got AF just 2 weeks after my D&C last August.

Well, to cut a long story short, I have done 5 cheapy (FirstResponse)POAS tests (over the last 5) and all have come back faint/medium +ve, however, I really don't see how I can be as no 'risks' have been taken at what would seem the right time. They aren't getting any darker so I'm not hopeful at all, no symptoms either, etc.

What I wanted your combined advice on is...whether hCG can be this high to produce a medium +ve a month after D&C or not?? Sharon, does this sound like your chemical pregnancy.

I will ask for BT work tomorrow at the GP but would appreciate opinions (esp. from the medical team, if you are out there Deb/Nat) - am dying to know what my flipping body is doing and where it is at cycle wise - is there a way of testing where you are???

Hi to everyone I have missed, hectic weekend, brain cells still on overload!!

heybacko I have heard that you can still have hcg present in your body up to 6 weeks after a D&C / miscarriage so I am guessing this is what could be happening to you, and while you still have the hcg present in your body you won't get AF which is why it can take some women a lot longer to get their first AF after a D&C. I think that my +ve last cycle was actually a chemical pgncy as I had had my first AF after my D&C. I am sorry your body won't get back into it's normal routine especially when it has done in the past, but like they say, every pgncy you have can be different and I suppose that if that is the case then the same can be said about a D&C / miscarriage :hugs: for you, and I hope that you can get some answers (and blood tests) done at the GP tomorrow (really hope that my explanation is all wrong for you and that you are in fact pg )

Thanks Sharon, think my mistake was expecting this post-D&C cycle to go the same way as the 4 births and last D&C!!! Like that was reasonable eh?!

Hoping for clarity after the GP/BT work but not banking on it!!

    Hi heybacko,

I did a BT today (14 days post D&C) to check on my hCG levels. They were in the 700's a week ago. The doctor told me your hCG levels say stay up for quite a while and AF usually takes 2-10 weeks after a D&C.

I can't wait to get AF (for the first time ever!) so I can TTC again but I'm still bleeding a little post D&C so I expect it will be a while still to wait.

    Hi Rachel

Yep, I think I just posted to you elsewhere on my postD&C fiasco and I have since done a 'google' and found pretty much what you guys have said as well!

4-6 weeks post loss for hCG levels to drop depending on what the type of loss was (complete m/c, D&C, etc) and then it also depends on how high your levels were at the time of loss (and since my little bub had only left us a few days before my scan, I reckon mine were quite high) so that all fits!!

What are we like eh, wishing AF was with us!!!!

Hey, we might end up NZ Cycle buddies if the old Red Witch gets here act together!!!

    Luv Alex

Congratulations Sarah - that is such wonderful wonderful news. I sooo understand at not wanting to get your hopes up. However - you ARE pregnant - there is a little one growing inside you. Talk to her/him tell her/him you want them to stay. I truly believe that this helps. Are you having bhcg levels done? This can be a way to help ease the anxiety. If the levels are doubling as they should it augurs very well for this pregnancy. Then the next milestone can be an early u/s at 6 and a bit weeks...
Thinking ofyou and sending you lots of love. It is such a tough time
