NattyT of course we remember you, WOW that is such exciting news. I think all the feelings you are feeling atm are quite normal. Try not to stress too much and let us know how everything goes tomoro
Sammy hopefully ovulation is just around the corner for you and this is your month
Twinsister im hoping its just too early for a BFP too, have fun on your camping trip and hopefuuly you can sort out some time to BD

AFM really want to do another test but i think i will be crushed if i see another BFN. Am not feeling pregnant at all, cm has gone so dont know whats happening. Might just TRY and wait a couple more days and then test.

    BFN.

    AGAIN. 11 & 12 DPO.

I'd love to be able to say I'm still feeling positive about it all, but the truth is, it's slowly dwindling.. every time I get a BFN, I walk out with less & less positivity. It's so hard.

I try to stay positive, I really do. But I guess the universe decides at the end of the day, doesn't it... and this month must not be my month. I just WISH the universe would KNOW this IS the RIGHT TIME, and how much we crave, want, & long for a bubba of our own..!!!

We did everything... we BD'd EVERY day over a 6 day window, we used the OV Watch, pre-seed, we even did it on the side, like I was told to (retroverted uterus)... I really thought this was our month!

I even had the 'symptoms' for the past few days, and felt what I have thought imlpantation cramping. This feeling is different to period pain, it's a weird sorta feeling I can't explain, sorta like a 'pushy' feeling.. and a 'stabbing' feeling if I move the wrong way. I really thought it was bubs settling in for the ride.. & yesterday morning I had what I thought was even a bit of nausea & MS, with a tight throat, and spacey head..

Just goes to show, all the 'symptoms' in the world doesn't guarantee a BFP. Lesson learnt.

I'm so sorry for the lack of personal's everyone, I will try to come back on a bit later when I'm feeling a bit better.. If I feel a bit better...

LladyR - you could still get a BFP. I don't believe I have ever seen a positive result until around 14 DPO.

    Hi everyone.

Welcome to all the newbies and congrats to everyone who got BFP's this month!

I have been stepping back a little hence no posts from me..Im feeling a little out of sorts. I want to move on and let go of everything now but I know that the minute I ovulate Ill want to come back into the thread and obsess throughout my TWW..

Ill still be reading but if its ok I just want to lurk for a while. Until Im ready to go again..

A gf sent me this piece, she just lost her baby at 9 weeks. I know what stage of the Miscarriage grieveing process she is at and god I want to be with her now..we're in different states though so..bugger..

Anyway, its a really poignant piece and Im also thinking of sending it to those people that keep saying "it will happen" and "dont worry it was only early"...to me, my baby had a heart beat therefore I had a real baby there. not an embryo...not a zygote, not any other scientific name..it was our baby

Love you all lots and please know you have all kept me from losing my faith in living at my darkest hours. xx

A Planet of Pain, Where No Words Are Quite Right
    By N. WEST MOSS
    Published: October 20, 2008

There are no pink ribbons to wear if you've had a miscarriage, no walkathons or T-shirts to encourage awareness and prevention. And to the extent that we have a language to talk about miscarriage, it's full of airy platitudes: Don't worry, I had one once, too, or I had two, and then, Davey was born, and he's graduating from college this week."

But until you belong to the imaginary club of Mothers Without Children, it is a secret planet of pain, all but invisible to the outside world.

I recently had my third miscarriage in a year. It happened early in the pregnancy, and it was dismissed as no big deal "chemical pregnancy" seems to be the term of art. Let's not overreact, no need for hysterics, keep moving. "We'll treat it as though you're just getting your period," as my doctor put it.

But honestly, it is not just like getting your period. Psychologically, of course, it is nothing like it, but physically it is different, too. I had cramps for hours that left my ribs feeling bruised, and then four days later I was back at work and exhausted because I was still bleeding a lot, not an alarming amount, but enough to make me schedule meetings in rooms near bathrooms, and to send me home in the afternoon for a two-hour nap. I wonder how men would cope. All of the pain, mess, furtive tidying-up, shame and soldiering-on seem so fundamentally female to me.

People act as if a miscarriage were a locatable event on a calendar, with a beginning, a middle and an end. But in fact it starts when you feel that first unmistakable twinge that something is totally wrong. It continues through the rough days of sorrow and deep cramps, and then it meanders through every single day of the rest of your whole stupid life. I will probably mourn about this miscarriage in some outwardly unremarkable way until I either have a healthy baby or die.

Talking about miscarriages is so loaded and pitiful and hushed and fraught with meaning about age and usefulness. It feels as though having three miscarriages in a year means I did something wrong, when the reality is that most miscarriages take place for chromosomal reasons out of our control.

Yet a woman who has had a miscarriage has likely asked herself why. ?God must not want me to have a kid, she might think, or, I am too old.? There are moments when you can feel that the miscarriage and the calamities of the world are your own doing and you should have somehow known better.

Maybe we don't talk about our miscarriages because we don?t want women with children looking at us with pity, or teenagers in their immortality-flushed way thinking, "That'll never happen to me." We do not want happy families to whisper, "Thank God that's not us." We don't want to wonder if men are thinking, "If they can't have kids, then why are they here, anyway??

I cannot tell you, though, what you should say to women who have had miscarriages. While it can be touching to hear other women's stories, it can also be irritating: it makes our moment of extraordinary sadness feel ordinary and unremarkable. Why would I want to hear about your miscarriage when I am lying on the floor trying to lift 500 pounds of failure, disappointment and crashing hormones off my chest?

I can tell you that I want people to know. I don't want it to be a secret or a shadow or something that is endured only alone. I want people to know that I have been through something, that I am tired but optimistic, that I've been knocked down but don?t help me up because I can get up myself.

It's fair, I think, to want witnesses for our suffering. But with the sorrow also comes hope. And after all, we are resilient creatures. A friend of mine said it well in an e-mail message after she heard my news. "I hope you don't give up," she wrote. "I want to take a picture of your child one day against the tallest sunflower."

coco that is such a moving piece and i see what you mean about knowing what stage of the miscarriage process she is at. I too had all those feelings and also think that is rubbish that is such a hush hush subject that people like to sweep under the carpet.
Im glad youve still been lurking, i was actually just thinking yesterday that we hadnt heard from you in a little while and hoping that everything is ok
Hopefully you will be feeling strong enough to join us again soon and you get that much longed for BFP and sticky little bub

Lladyr dont get too down just yet hunny, as i have said to a couple of girls in the last couple of weeks its not over till af turns up and those 2 girls in particular have gone on to get BFP's 1 or 2 days before AF is due. Thats the reason ive been trying so hard to hold off on testing untill the last moment, it is just so hard seeing that solitary lonely line each time. Hopefuuly if you can maybe hold off another 2 or 3 days you will get two nice dark lines on the test

Coco, thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart, for posting that. It has helped, and I only hope that from other people reading it, people can be more understanding, or at least try to, of how their comments affect, even when they don't intend to. xx

Thank you Elise, I , but I still don't know.. I'd love to be able to stay so positive throughout it all, but it's so hard... usually I'm quiet a positive person, especially throughout this TTC journey, even after it taking in excess of 18 months with one loss, but lately, especially after the loss, it's seeming that much harder.

Especially after the loss, since now I know how it feels to be pregnant, and have that gift inside of you, to nurture, love, and marvel over this tiny being, only for it to be taken away...

It's almost like the loss all over again

Chickybabe: am for you that it is all ok, I completely understand your fears and, like everyone else, be here for you no matter what your result, sending massive your way xo

Coco: I have my fingers crossed for you that you soon see that amazing double line...you deserve it!

LladyR: keep your chin up, if you look back through the posts you will see a massive 'i hate everything' post from me because I had a -ve test and had thought I was, turns out the test was wrong so don't give up till the fat lady sings

EliseLouise: in a day or two you get those lines and can come join me in the stressing that it all goes ok threads lol

I'm at work so i need to be quick - hello to Anila , Josh'smum, Natty (congrats!), Madison, Zeepy, Twinsister, Ferrals and anyone I have missed - you are constantly in my thoughts and I am you all get your desired results.

AFM: trying not to analyse every twinge etc and peak out. HCG was a bit low so had 2nd test and hope it rises enough to make a sticky bub. I think it would near kill me to lose this preg. Good luck with bding, tww's and testing! I'll keep lurking and sending baby dust and sticky vibes

    Hi Lovely's,
I am so glad I found this place, it's nice to be around people who understand.
I was going to cancel my appoinment tomorrow, but forgot, so I guess it's a sign I am meant to go. I really don't want to, He's going to be vague, as he avoids "girl" problems. I just want to get pregnant without gyno's, pills, or anything. I really feel I am not pregnant now. I know it was only a "chemical" pregnancy but it was the 3rd in about a year. It all just hit me this evening and had a cry. Why can't it just happen? What is wrong with me?
Sorry for being down, I just had to let it out, which I probably don't do it enough, so thank you for listening to my frustrations.

Chickybabe try and stay positive hunny, i know it must be hard but hopefully this baby is in for the long haul. Have you got an appointment to see a doc any time soon? Keep us posted as to how things are going and my thoughts are with you
Zeppy dont you just hate insensitive doctors maybe thats a sign you need to find a new one, one that cares a little more about 'girl' problems. Also try not too let yourself worry that it is something that is wrong with you. These things happen for no apparent reason and i know when it happened to me i went through all the whys and what if's and i think if you keep looking for the reason why it happened you will drive yourself insane. keep your chin up and hopefully youll have a H&H pg really soon.
Tina hopefully those little twinges are just your little bundle settling in for the long haul. Good luck with your 2nd blood test and hopefully those levels rise a little for you.
AFM i gave in and tested again this evening and no surprise another BFN, Grrr so frustrating, oh well not giving up just yet, its not over till the bloody B#*%H shows up
Better get going, im on night shift this week, absolutely HATE it but it pays the bills i suppose. Talk soon

Thanks eliselouise85, I for now I have no option for Dr's, I live in a small Tassie town, 2hrs away from Launceston and Hobart and I have no car. But I should be getting a car in the next few weeks. So my plan is to get a referral to a Gyno and go from there. Thanks for the support, I feel better now. I think I needed a little cry.
My Dr is good, but not so great when it comes to girly things. There is a female Dr that comes here about every 6 weeks, but she is away at the moment. I'd hate to think what it's like living on King Island (were my Best Friend lives) where there isn't even an ultrasound machine, they have to travel to Burnie or Melbourne.
I think I have just been putting it off because I want it to happen by itself, without the stress of trips to "Town" (Launy or Hobart), but after 3 early M/C's in a year and an ectopic 10 years ago, I thinks it's time to look into it.
Thanks again for your kind words.
