All the poor gals with UTI's! Word of advice? The probiotics are a winner if you get candidia/thrush but the meds that I had problems with recently are the once off "thrush treatment" tablets. Not recommended if you are pg but I only found out after I did some research, also not recommended when TCC either! My SIL is a Dr and she described the meds as "toxic". Should have asked her first! After the way I felt I agree!

I am having accupuncture now too, but I am in Qld, so not much help on the recommendations. I am a bit of a skeptic but some of the "predictions" about my cycle and flow have been spot on ( and are changes from my usual) so it's pretty amazing. I reckon its also helped me with my extreme fatigue, and mind fogs ( as well as eating more haem and non haem iron, but the accupuncturist also went through dietary issues). And I developed this wicked amount of water in my ear which wouldn't budge for 8 hours, but after 10 seconds of accupuncture it was gone. Sweet relief.

Budgie - welcome. sorry about your little angel. In my journey I have also had a blighted ovum, but at 8 weeks.

Mathew's Mum - heya how are you? Thanks for asking about my day. Today has been a good day, after a pretty glum day yesterday. How are you doing?

Scary Pink Fairy - heya, how you doing?

It's so easy and understandable to feel angry and hurt when we see someone who is not treating their pregnancy with the respect, care and wonder that the it deserves. I get angry too sometimes, but I find it is just too hard worrying about everyone or anyone else and the poor choices they make. I don't have enough energy for that. Instead, I just worry about me and what I am doing. At least there are some things that I can do that give me a sense of control. Not many, but some. And I am going to grab on to them with both hands.
