Greencake - I am so happy for you to receive your BFP!!! Your dreams are finally becoming a reality! I wouldn't want to leave this forum either! Everyone's just so wonderful here that you should be able to hang around and check in on each other always! Sticky vibes for your little bean! Hope it all goes smoothly!

Dory - your husband's right. it amazes me everyday that I can talk to the amazing women on here about things I don't even feel comfortable talking to my own family and friends about. I feel very blessed to have found you guys on this forum. And i'm with you, how dare ppl stick their noses into our business. If I want ppl to know things about me, i'll tell them... no need to be nosey about it. Usually there's a reason why ppl don't share information.. and that's cos it's a sore spot. so many heartless fkwits out there hey. Hope you're having fun on your 7 day challenge!! Woot Woot!! Go girl! Fingers crossed for that BFP soon!

ScaryPinkFairy - Ooooo... it's very exciting. I do the same, analysing every little feeling. I seem to relate every feeling to pregnancy and then i go - this is it!! makes it so much harder during the TWW, but its good in a way cos we're getting to know our bodies even more than we ever did. I would love to hear a BFP! Give it a few more days! Fingers crossed.

AFM - I just got back from the doctors. She's ordered me a full blood count and full hormone testing etc... absolutely everything right down to cholesterol (which i know is perfect as it was only tested in January). Just covering all my bases and getting as much info as possible so hopefully I'll know a bit more about where my body is at etc. I've also been quite ill over the past few months which I thought was probably due to the fact that i've been stressing about this ttc stuff... so the bt results should clear a few things up.

ciara.e hope your bt comes back just fine. stress can do strange things to us, so hopefully it's nothing more than that

milly5 crampy could be good.... hopefully you tested too early and the cramps are good cramps x and i agree about the hair salon. i thought people go there to relax, not to get bombarded with 100s of questions. if i want to tell you stuff i will. i have come home crying from the past 2 visits to get my hair done!

SKP - that is so sad.....

Ciara.e - thanks. hopefully a BFP soon for you? I agree about the stress. Inanna did a sticky about the sorts of testing to think about after m/c. its at the beginning of one of the threads. Can't remember which one though.... if you Dr hasn't ticked bulk bill on the pathology referral form the costs of those BT's can add up.... its worth checking.

Eliselouise85 - 6 weeks, how exciting ( and scary)is that? Be strong and enjoy it as much as you can and don't forget to keep us posted.

Eloise - congrats on the 6wks! Wishing for a long healthy pregnancy for you!

SPF - thanks. Just the waiting game now. I should be used to that game with this ttc stuff...feels like you're ALWAYS in a tww!! lol.

Dory - thanks! I'm hoping so too. My doc bulk bills me all the time (I have been seeing her for years so she just automatically still does it, even though the surgery is no longer a bulk billing surgery).. so she did tick the bulk billing section on the bt request. Thanks for pointing that out. I'll have a look for that thread, would be great to see what to check for, thanks!. Hope you're enjoying your holidays?

Murraycod - yes, i'm trying to get a bit of a game plan.. can't hurt can it? Glad I could make u laugh too! this ttc stuff should be more fun that it usually is, hey?

Craftymummy - thank you, and enjoy your shagfest!! The fun part of the month! Make him work for it!!! and hope your friend is going ok also.

Ferrals - don't give up hope..perhaps give it a few more days and test again? I'm praying for your BFP!! And we're all here if you need to vent! sending hugs your way!

Sparkles - i'm with you. I would have been due in a couple of weeks and I've been feeling the same. It's just not fair sometimes. But when we finally do get our BFPs, it will mean so much more to us! Chin up, this year is going to be our year!! hopefully this month!!!

Well afm, i have had cramping for about 3 or 4 days, sore boobs etc so i'm pretty sure i O'd on time. i guess I would consider myself as being in the TWW starting today i guess.

ciara.e we must be cycle buddies this time lol I am also thinking I am in the 2ww starting today. Not holding much hope though as haven't BD for 2days and its not going to happen again this cycle. I now its possible but we could have timed it better (to argue that is right when I need it the most)

Ferrals sweetheart I'm so sorry you did not get the result you were after thismorning. Hold in there X
How are you feeling? Is your body telling you AF is on her way? Take it easy, it's your first month, straight after such an emotional Stim Cycle, don't let your heart get dissapointed.
I understand that starting a fresh month off seems like you have a HUGE hill to climb, so far in the distance, but as slow as the climb is, you will get to the top faster than you think you will, and will be getting those darn evil sticks out once again
You have just begun a life long marriage to a wonderfull husband, enjoy the New Year season, dust yourself off and put a smile on that beutifull face of yours, you have much to be proud of, and we all look to you for inspiration. Especially me this next month, you will have to be my sane IVF buddy and beleive me, that is going to keep you buisy enough to make the hill climb a whole lot easier!X
We love you, be kind to yourself. AF isn't here yet! XX

Sorry for no other persies X Hi to everyone XXXXX

Hey Emmy. We must be cycle buddies!! Nice one. I'm with you, i didn't do any naughty stuff yesterday cos i've been unwell, but like they say... sperm can survive days in there! so it's not all gloomy! Are you going to wait the 2 weeks out and then test, or just wait and see if AF arrives? I'm not very good at waiting haha.

Ferrals - i agree with everything Murraycod said! Wow, she has a way with words that I could never match! Feel free to vent your frustrations babe, that's what we're all here for. <3

ciara.e I will definately test early. Not that I will be expecting a BFP but its like I need to see the BFN to crush my hopes and then its a relief when AF arrives as I know I am not pregnant anyway. The thing is although I am desperate to be pregnant I know as soon as I see those lines (not line) I will be a mess. So the hope I feel at getting a BFP will very quickly be replaced with a hopeless feeling of doom. I can't win. Depression over not been pregnant and BFN after BFN each cycle or terror and fear to follow when the BFP shows. Grrrr

Anyhow I am angry at DH at the moment and I o'd from my tubeless side. It would be a miracle if I got pregnant. My one tube is pinned down from adhesions so it can't move and catch the egg from the other side. I will probably test at 10-11DPO. Always had a BFP by then if I have been pregnant. I think if I were I would secretly know by then as my symptoms are so strong in the past. The nose and smell of the most stupid things gives it away. With my first m/c I knew at about 5-6DPO when I couldn't stand the smell of a placenta at work. I was convinced it was infected lol

Oh Emmy..I completely understand the depression you're talking about! It's kind of like, upset at another BFN, but upset at a BFP cos you're thinking 'am I really ready for what i'm getting myself into?'. The short answer is 'yes'. If we weren't ready for this, we wouldn't be here wanting it so badly and doing all that we can to make it happen. i kind of think that the feeling we get at a BFP is more like 'what if it doesn't stick' or 'what if i do something wrong'... which is completely normal given that we have all experienced difficulties in the past.

Why are u upset at hubby??? Anything we can help u with???

what sort of work do u do? I'm hoping for you that those placenta's smell a little off for you by this time next week! I know it's a challenge being a one tuber and ttc, but I have faith! Even if you feel all the odds are against you, sometimes they're not! Give yourself a week or so (but hopefully 2 weeks), and if you feel its the right time, grab that hpt out and pee on that stick girl! I'll be right there with you.. peeing away over here!! haha... that sounds kinda wrong.

Well if it doesn't happen this time, we can at least look forward to the fun of trying again next cycle! And i'm thinking of following dory's lead by calling a 7 day shag fest.. sounds like great fun!

afternoon all -milly-sorry about the bfn....ciara-hope the testing points you in the right direction needed...ferrals-sorry it was bfn, you'll get there,we all will together...murraycod-thinking of you...greencake-congratulations....dory-my dh is a big sook,i'll be best to inject myself i think....scarypinkfairy-fingers crossed...eliselouise-one day at a time...craftymummy-good luck...sparkles-thinking of you as your date approaches..emmy-miracles happen...afm-around 'o' time for me so even after the results last week we've been busy b'ding,dr did manage to get a trickle out of one tube,so here's hoping again, got to be in it to win it so to speak.Bit worried about sperm test dh has to do in the new year(didn't want him doing it when 'o' time was lingering, that belongs to me not the lab)he has never masturbated before,he worried he will have trouble.i told him it can't be that hard, some men do it for pleasure lots of times

Murrycod- you always know what to say to make me feel better wish you lived close by i could do with a friend who i can lean on mine are all either not into kids or have little ones or think i'm crazy for wanting to put myself through this and dont understand so i cant talk to them and my AF and pregnancy symptoms are the same i get crampy and feel emotional and i can never really tell as i never get any m/s or anything the only way i know i am pregnant is when i have an u/s and see the baby otherwise i dont believe it i dont even show until about 4-5 months.
And i am here for you when you start your cycle i hope our AF turn up on the same time maybe tomorrow we will be due to test at the same time anyway thankyou i feel better.

Sparkles-I know what you mean i have been pretty positive this whole horrible 8 mths and always try to think it will happen i cant imagine not having my mans baby but now im starting to lose hope and feel like time is running out and it is starting to worry me more and more i hope you do somthing nice on your due date to make it a little easier.

Ciara-doesnt she what! maybe it because she knows exactly how we all feel.

Mathewsmum-your hubby will be fine all men have had a go at one time or another when they first discover it as a kid some contiue doing it well actually most do they just dont admit it with my DH he was only worried that the door wouldnt lock properly and you can go in with him if he needs you i was jealous my man was in there having fun without me so the night before i made him a little movie on his phone to watch to get him going he loved it and it worked a treat.

Craftmummy-i know i'm not old but going by eggs they are 35 years old and my FSH hormone is 10.6 the FS likes it to be under 10 as that is normal but anything under 12 is ok my level has been 9.6 then 8 then 10.6 stress can effect it but age is the biggest factor and it means it can take longer to concieve although i have plenty of eggs and my FS said she is not concerned with my fertility i have read enough to know time is not on my side and it would be nice if we could all move to the belly belly thread together then i wouldnt have to stalk murrycod lol.

    Emmy-good luck with your tww.

AFM- AF is due tomorrow and just having some cramping off and on but nothing major i went out and brought some COQ10 to add to my vitex evening primrose oil iodine and folic and vitamin B6 and elevit tablets i have researched heaps on improving egg quality to promote fertilisation and cell division in the embryo the only other thing i need is royal jelly a lot of older women on ivf have used it so i will give it a go.

    Hi ladies,

ciarae - hope the blood tests shed some light, and good luck for the 2ww

SPF - what we need is a chain of "silent" hair salons, where they just massage your scalp before cutting your hair, and you listen to relaxing music and smell essential oils....

Ferrals - are you sure? Did AF arrive? And everything that murraycod said

    Craftymummy - happy shagfest!

sparkles - hugs for your due date, I found it hard too

hi emmie, elsielouise, murraycod, dory, matthewsmum, and all the other ladies I have missed and also to those who are reading but haven't posted.

AFM - OK, so AF due today. Cramping baaaaadly.
Had a spot 3 days ago, thought FOR SURE she was a'comin'. But she didn't - so this evening, did a HPT, and there was a very faint line. Got DH to double check, and he saw it too. It's fairly light, but AF is not here and no spotting since the one small spot on monday. So I'm very cautiously excited and can't wait to do a first morning (PLEASE DON"T COME DURING THE NIGHT AF!).
I googled pain and early pg, and of course now I am CONVINCED that if it is really a BFP then it must be an ectopic, because after all our hurdles, I am just so scared that it just won't happen for us the way it is supposed to.
