loopylouie-glad things went well at dr's,did he suggest any more testing?how do you find the metformin?i've been on it for the past year, gives me some tummy problems but apparently dr said i'll need to keep taking right through 1st trimester of any future pregnancies...alice-hope you don't have to wait to much longer for test results, know what you mean about aging eggs,fs has warned me not to be to disappointed if he only can collect 1 egg at epu,due to my age & being perimenopause,it's a pain this getting older business,i've been taking the pill(seems strange saying that on here)waiting now to start using the nose spray

em- hugs right back at you...

Hi everyone
Alice: yes I am lurking, I come in here everyday to check up on you all, just been busy and trying to have a bit of a rest from obsessive TTCing...but I'm still here sending love to you all and lots of
-
Hi girls,
wow this thread moves fast, will try to get on here more regularly to do personals etc.
 to all of us.
AFM: having a rollercoaster ride at the moment...one of DF's friends announced his girlfriend is pregnant and is due after what I was. Seeing her facebook status etc tears me to bits. I am happy for them but it hurts and I have a feeling that I'm going to feel like this all the way her pregnancy. Just as I thought things were getting better!! :wall:
Sorry girls, about my lil vent but I really didn't think that I would feel that way!!
Mwah
-
IonaMacca: Yep, pregnancy announcements can be a bit sad, I find that when girls in here announce a BFP I'm really happy and excited for them, but IRL it's a bit bittersweet. One of my best friends is starting TTC this month, and even that makes me a bit sad, cos I was meant to be about 5 months pregnant now. She's all happy and excited about it, and at the moment I'm a lil bit bitter.
MatthewsMum: oooh it's getting exciting, I'm glad things are happening, praying you get some super healthy eggs.
Alice: Lol, glad you like the name, I have wings tattooed on my back, and my actual name is Kitty, hence the kitfaerie (I like the real spelling better too). Are you getting a proper analysis from the m/c done? Mine just said it wasn't molar, which was a relief but not exactly the level of info I wanted.
Em: Hope your doing ok at the moment, xo
Louie: Your plan sounds good, it's good to know that even the little things can help bring us that step closer to getting out babies.
TTCALC: Yep, Day 1 is the first day AF started.
Ferrals: Next months sounds like a good omen, best of luck.
Crafty: Really hope the gizmo works out for you, very exciting!
Sarahrach: Hooray for O! You've got serious work in front of you now :) Good luck with egg catching!
AFM: Still no AF - cycle day 34 now :o so I'm thinking that I either O'd ridiculously late, or it's an annovulatory cycle. Considering I went from coming off the pill to pregnant to miscarrying in 4 months I wouldent be surprised if my body is just going 'STOP!'. I wanna POAS tomorrow though, just to make sure.
-
Couldent wait, tested again and BFN. So tired of this. Waiting for day 1 AGAIN.
-
Big  KitFaerie
And yep Iona macca- I get where you are coming from re. friends being pregnant- I find it very difficult. I even hate being on facebook at the moment seeing friends updates of there pregnancies or babies- its so hard. I mean i'm happy for them, but it just reminds me that there should be a baby growing inside of me right now.
-
I don't find pregnant friends or their babies too stressful but shopping in certain stores can bring me tears. Going through the babies section in Target chokes me up. We bought DD a new car seat because we thought the baby would soon need hers so she could move up to a big girl's seat. I have hidden her new one in the shed so I don't have to look at it but when I walk past the display at Target it hurts a lot. Likewise the car. We bought a larger family car and everytime I jump in the driver's seat I think about the reason we bought it. I wonder how long it takes to stop thinking about the car that way.
-
Hey girls...
KitFaerie..thanks sweetie i thought so but since i knew to this i thought maybe i messed up last month on it ..sorry for the N results.. good luck sweetie hang in there big HUGSS
Mathhewsmom.. thanks sweetie..

SammyP... I get like that also .. even before we lost our angel baby.. i would get all upset thinking i might as well give up cause its not going to happen .. but i just had to stop thinking that way and go with the flow..
AFM.. we got court tomorrow morning i just hope and praying we walk out with good news..
thanks all for the good luck's =]
-
Sorry for you KitFaerie - perhaps its too early yet to show up - anything is possible until nasty AF comes knocking.
Sammy: I'm with you on not feeling too bad about other preggo friends. I'm every bit jeleous of them though - I felt a bit that way when I saw Natalie's bumb on So You Think You Can Dance last night - quite irrational actually :-)
Kirsten: heheh, good luck on not obsessing - let us know how you go.
Em: how are you going luv, are you charting this month?
TTCA: jeez, court sounds a bit frightening, especially US court - thinking Judge Judy or something equally horrific.
ATM: I'm just crusin' along after finally getting a confirmed O and some nice high temps since. I'm totally going to be testing early (got a big box of Lullaby Conceptions HPT) so I'll start the POS-fest next Wednesday I think which'll be 11DPO - woo hoo!!!
-
Kitfaerie-sorry it was a BFN.
TTCALC-good luck at court today.
AFM-went to the naturopath yesterday and all i can say is WOW is she good she did the iridology thing on our eyes and could see everything from hubby's hiatus hernia and lactose intolerance to my families genetic heart condition that i am a stress head even the scare on my right foot all from looking at our eyes she said my estrogen is high and i am very fertile my right ovary is pumping out eggs my left is just plotting along nicely which is correct my U/S have shown my right ovary produces more eggs she said hubby is also very fertile we are a good match where the problem is with us is the DNA damage from to much toxins in our bodies not allowing the embryos to make it they fragment and wont implant so to cut a long story short she has put us on a detox diet and a heap of chinese tablets herbs and liquid ($337 worth) to cleans our bodies and we have to avoid getting pregnant for 110 days to allow DH sperm to be less DNA damaged and we have to give up all caffine even my decafe all fizzy drinks and all meat and dairy are out so we are eating budgie food and drinking horrible teas and herbs but i wont stop trying to fall pregnant i cant we have waited so long i said to DH i will do all the other stuff but i am not missing an opportunity i will let nature decide if we get pregnant we dont go back to her and if we dont get pregnant we keep seeing her she thinks i will fall pregnant after the 3 months detox if we be good and dont try now so that is it in a nutshell i believe her natural ways but i can not wait any more.
Oh! crafty she has had women to the age of 48 yes 48! have babies with there own eggs so it is possible
-
Oh! forgot the reason my FSH was high was from stress leading up to ivf so i am happy about that and AF turned up this morning so right on day 28 i'm back to normal cycles YEH!
-
wow Ferrals that's great you have found someone so good to help. I'm with you on the wait though - v. hard after waiting so long already. Good luck with the detox - we did something similar a few years back after seeing a naturopath and I'm back on it now - no sugar, no caffeine, no alcohol and for me lots of chicken and fish. Sadly my DH smokes and that is a battle I have not won not even after all these long years makes me v. sad and at times quite angry after all I have been through but it's an addiction and I can't judge as I've never had it. I just wish he'd stop NOW.
Iona-Macca - it is terribly hard at times to hear about other pregnancies, no matter how much you love and care for those friends/family. We started TTC nine years ago. In that time we have been through all our friends having the first, then second, now third children. One couple who fell pregnant right after we started have an 8 year old girl. Every time I see her I can't help thinking of all those hard years we've been through. I find the babies a lot easier than the pregnancies, and usually after the initial announcement, the pregnancies aren't too hard either though there is one at the moment I just can't see at all. I don't think it means you are bad or awful, I just think you've been through a lot of pain and disappointment and grief that a lot of people (luckily) will never have to and so wouldn't understand. That's why this forum is so important for us. We get it.
SammyP -
Kirsten - good to hear you are well and not obsessing too much - it's a hard one, finding the balance. Fingers crossed for you.
Kit - boo I hope it's just BFP hiding ready to surprise you. I hate that feeling of ground hog day - here we go AGAIN. Our lot is to be patient and I've never been v. good at that!
have to dash off - soo late for work but when it involves packing up an office after 4 years you can't blame me. It's like moving house and having to go back to the old place to clean - just makes you want to cry!
Hugs to everyone - TTCaLC - good luck!
Alice x

Loupie – I know of 2 women who have gone to Shen. One had something like 12 IVF attempts ( I don't know if they were all stim cycles or not), and in combination with IVF and Shen she conceived twins. About 12 months later, whilst still attending Shen she and her DH conceived naturally and spontaneously and now have a healthy bubs. The other woman, my GF, has been long term TCC with 4 IVF attempts. Within 3 months of starting Shen, she fell pregnant spontaneously but sadly m/c and then within another 6 months conceived spontaneously again, and sadly another m/c. Shen completely change your diet including having your main meal at lunch, no soft drinks, more protein, full cream diary and put you on chinese herbs, give accupuncture and massage. My GF loves her Shen sessions. Even though now it's been 2 years since the last m/c and no luck on the BFP she still goes and still get a lot out of it. Personally, I was quite affronted by some of the content about m/c on the web page and couldn't attend that clinic out of principle. I accept however from the clinic's point of view those are valid statements given their philosophy. My GF talks highly of them.
Glad your visit to the Dr was positive. I love decluttering. It is the best feeling. Good luck. Hope you still drop in and let us know how you're going?
Kit – oh it must be such a struggle being away from DH!! But good work you on uni stuff. For me, being away from DH seems like an adventure when the idea first comes up, but the reality is pretty grim when it arrives. We still spend some time apart b/c of work, well only his at the moment, given I am a lady of leisure. It's sooooooooo good when he comes home. I have found having the cats around helps me feel less lonely. I have yet to have a night apart when I am not working. At the moment I really look forward to his coming home each night.
Sunbeam – I hope an answer is easily found and easily fixed.
Crafty – Sweetie. Such hard decisions, such a hard journey. You will know what's right for you. Thinking of you, lots. There is hope, but you have to find your way to it, it won't come to you.
TCCALC – Anita – good luck tomorrow ( it's today here in Aus). Court stuff is hard and draining and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Lets hope the other party doesn't turn up and it's a simple day for you. Hope you get to celebrate in style. My GF who lives in NYC just sent me some photos of NYC blanketed in snow. So different to Aus.
Ferals – hugs. Hope the pms symptoms ease soon and you are feeling better. Hopefully with all the sadness, later in march will be your time? I hope so.
Sarahrach – awesome news. Big O. So did you get jiggy with it? BTW – those feelings aren't irrational in the slightest. I think it's just more they sneak up on us when we least expect it or think we are travelling well.
hubba_bubba – that's excellent. You must be so excited. I know what you mean about joining a “date club”. I just can't even begin to contemplate it. I am not particularly superstitious, but I can't join a date club because I am to scared I won't make it to the date again, and in a really peverse way, I am worried I will be a bad omen for anyone else. My rational brain just can't overcome this particular one, despite my best efforts. Guess it gives an indication of just how scared I am, even if I don't always know or admit it.
Murraycod – can you please come to my house? I won't laugh or crack open a beer, but I might just sit back and watch you wizz by! I soooooo wish I had an ounce of enthusiasm for housework or gardening. There is so much I could be doing, but instead I laze around, too scared to really do anything then beat myself up about not doing anything. Oh well, the house isn't a shambles, it's just I thought I would have it perfect, like I did when I was recovering. Oh well, I can dream. Dh says I am doing the most important job and he doesn't care. He might be terrible with chores but the man has a heart of gold.
Alice – a bit closer to the next step. Awesome. Hear you about ageing! Don't work too hard moving offices. It is very hard. I did it twice in the space of a month recently. Urgghhhh.
Mathew's Mum – hope the nose spray goes ok? Is it yukky? Does it make you sneeze?
Em – Hope you're doing ok. Your post sounded strong.
Iona Macca – sweetie, if that's how you feel, don't feel guilty. It's so tough, and hopefully they understand a bit and try and be sensitive. Sometimes in this journey, it's the things we don't expect that surprise and hurt us the most and the things we prepare for, that breeze by with hardly a blip. I know it will be very hard, but you can do it. If you need to – lay low and keep your distance. You need to heal, and that is your priority. Time to put yourself first ( or at least as much as you can)
Sammy P – I hear you, on so many levels. Glad to see you in here. How are you doing? I find that when I see pregnant women, I just get soooo scared for them that I start to cry. Reminds me of what I don't have and the agony of losses. I get wistful around newborns but not too sad. I am just happy they are here, starting to make their way in the world, and they are so fascinating.
AFM – sorry about the long post, it had been so long since I last logged on there was so much to catch up on and I am usually not very brief with my posts! I am going ok. Thanks for the belly rub Murraycod – it gave me a nice smile and a sense of serenity. ANITA – can't wait to hear how you went.

Morning all
Kitfaerie I am with you now day 30 still a BFN so who knows I have been feeling sick yesterday and not had my normal headache which normally means AF is on her way so I have no idea whats going on with me.Good luck testing again in a few days !
Ferrals WOW you have to be dedicated to give up so many things I have no chance of getting DH to do that he is terrible got a sweet tooth and loves his pepsi and beer only has one a day but still, on the good side he doesn't smoke never has and he does eat more veggies and salads now ( he never used to ) but as for looking in your eyes and seeing all that its amazing !Good luck to you anyways. By the way my gizmo arrived yesterday and can't wait to start it up when AF decides to arrive here in Perth ! it does say on there many have fallen within 2 cycles so March is your 2nd cycle is it not !
Dory thanks for the thought I know what is right for me i have to get used to the idea it may never happen but I will keep trying there is no doubt about that ! glad your doing ok. I also need murraycod to come and whizz through my house I keep cleaning and the kids keep messing it up again why do I bother !

craftymummy-thanks,i was able to do it,got a lovely surprise, when i clicked on it all these nice messages came up about me.Thanks ladies for the nice words...em-how are you today...dory-haven't started the spray yet, keeping the big picture in mind though.so pleased you & bub are travelling along okay.
-
Hello Ladies,
I've been lurking but nothing to add yet, still waiting for results of my bt.
Crafty- I'm so glad you are not giving up I have a good feeling that there is a little bub out there waiting for you.
Ferrals- Glad Af was prompt. The new regiem sounds pretty harsh. I tried acupuncture, herbs, diet, natural medicine etc but not ALL AT ONCE!!! Good on you, you guys will be super, super healthy (if not a bit cranky from craving yum stuff ) Being cafine free actually made me feel really good I did not realise I was addicted as I only had one coffee a day and got shocking headaches for the first few days without it. Foe fixxy drinks I now have fresh lime with fizzy water, recon that can't be too bad.
Iona- I am with you, seeing pregnant women gives me a horrible pang of loss. I went to yoga last night and felt like crying for most of the session as I wanted to be pregnant and back at my pregnacy yoga class instead. I've decided to do my yoga dvd at home until I can go back to pregnacy classes, its just too hard.
KitF- hang on in there its not over till AF shows up :crossfingers:
Sarah- whoo for the TTW :goodluck:. Who else is with you?
TTALC- I really hope the courts do the right thing good luck tomorrow, thinking of you.
AFM- Well I got my blood tests but I'm not sure I'll trust some of the results because the woman was useless. She stated with my right arm and tried to stick the needle in at a right angle to my vein:o. Now I'm no doctor but I know enough about annatomy to know my veins run up and down my arm not sideways!!! So no blood was coming out DU!:wall: so then she just turns the needle :wtf: I literally screamed in pain, I felt so woosy I thought I might pass out! I thought of just getting up and leaving but I really wanted to get the tests done so I let her try my other arm and this time she used the little butterfly needle thing and sucsessfull got my 10 viles of blood. The reason I'm worried is that some then had to sit for 10 mins before they were spun then she's supposed to do something else to them and I just don't trust she'd have done it right. Anyway should have some news on them tomorrow so I'll let you know.
Better do some work now :shhh:
HAve a good day.
-

Recent Miscarriage
Hi all
Ive never ben onto one of these sites before for any reason but find myself needing to air feelings with people who have been through similar situations
I found myself unexpectedly pregnant and my boyfriend and I were both very excited.
At 9 weeks exactly I had some brown spotting and my Mum assured me that it was nothing but I went to the doctor and had my hcgl levels checked two days apart only to be told that it was dropping and the pregnancy wouldnt be viable. I then had to have a scan and I was prepared and tried not to look but couldnt help but see the screen and the lady pointed out my baby and then that there was no heartbeat.
Im not having a D & C am just letting nature take its course and I havent been back to work yet, I am planning on going tomorrow. I was supposed to go today but had a bad night and couldnt stop myself crying this morning, I thought i was fine and then it just hit me this morning. Everyone keeps saying its best it happens now and its nature taking course but none of it helps.
Im now starting to worry that it will happen again and that I might miss out on a baby and it scares me. I want to start trying straight away and my boyfriend wants to wait a couple of months, I just feel like trying and becoming pregnant again will help me to move on.
Any advice or thoughts are most welcome just chatting on here may help.
Feeling alone and worried.................
25th Feb 2010 9 weeks

Thanks everyone for all that has been written. I have been doing alot of thinking the last few days and clearing my mind. Telling myself its not my fault and that i have to keep on going. I thank you so much for all your response's. It really does mean alot to have people to talk too about all of what has happened. You all have definatly given me alot to think about and made me feel better. So thankyou.
I hope to try again soon, ive never wanted my AF more than i do now. Want to get through these cycles.
****BABY DUST TO ALL**** **** HAPPY TIMES AHEAD****
-
Cuppy Welcome !
Sorry you had to join us here but we welcome you and hope we can assist you in some small way into getting on with your life after miscarriage. Its so hard when you see the scan and know in your heart nothing can be done, a lot of us on here have been there and done that some more times than they care to remember. Its devastating but you can get through it with time and a little hope. Its been 6 mnths since it happened to me and its been very hard to accept what happened but I promise it does get easier you have to give yourself a break and greive for your little angel. Hopefully you will not suffer too much pain and can get back to a normal cycle without any problems, as for trying again well thats all I could think about and I know how you feel and if its what you want then you should go for it. Do what you have to do to make yourself whole again ! to you keep well and don't be a stranger I too found myself on here and had never used one of these forums before and it was the best thing I ever did the women on here are the best and so supportive !
-
Hey Cuppy - Its the worst feeling. I to recently lost my lil man. 3 weeks ago at the 19week scan. Most heart breaking words to hear, i had no idea that he was gone. I was excited about seeing him.
I dont have much advice as im still raw like you. I just wanted to say that im thinking of you. Sorry you are here and feeling this awlful pain. I have found lots of advice from the other ladies here.
-
some days are just s**t. I'm sitting here in the office surrounded by boxes crying. The girl who worked for me just dropped in to tell me she's pg and due the same day we would have been .THE SAME DAY. Life is so damn unfair sometimes I just want to cry. I am crying. Why???????????????????:cry::cry:
Cuppy so sorry jsut read yoru post take care xx
-
Thanks so much ladies, I think it has hit me today as my boyfriend works away and Ive held it together while he was home so he didnt worry and now I feel like I can let go. Im desperate to try again but there is also a little voice in the back of my mind saying what if it happens again but I guess thats normal. My Mum had two miscarriages one before she had me and one before my brother so I knew that it was a common thing. I guess the one good thing I can take from it is that we werent trying to get pregnant but we did easily. Im hoping that once the bleeding from the miscarriage stops and I have one cycle we can start trying and in the meantime maybe I can lose some more weight and do all the right things to help conceive. I think I thought because we werent trying it was meant to be and nothing would go wrong.
MissK - I cant imagine how it must feel at 19 weeks, that would be devestating Im so sorry and hope that next time will be better for you.
CraftyMummy - thank you for your kind words, I do really appreciate it and I wont be a stranger.
Thanks ladies
-
Alice
What a horrible thing to have to hear, Im yet to return to work but I know another teacher is due 2 days after I was due and Im dreading having to watch it all unfold.
-
:rofl:Cuppy I am so sorry you have had to join a group like this. Huge welcomes to Bellybelly and I hope you love it as much as I do. Its been my saving Grace having women to talk to who know what we are going through.
Alice that sucks big time. I'll shed some tears for you too. I have had the same thing happen with same due dates also. One is my cousin. Then I have been invited to a joint baby shower for 7 work mates. Frankly I think its very rude considering our profession (midwives) and regardless of what I went thorugh another midwife had a still born baby 2months ago who was also due the same time as the other bubs were due. A few days after my ectopic bub was due. I think its the biggest insult to her. I know how it made me feel and her situation is alot different to mine. Plus we are midwives so we are suppose to have some understanding of grief and loss plus all the pregnant midwives are not having their first baby either. Plus we are all paying to but them presents except no one contributed to any gift, flowers etc when the other midwife had her baby too soon at 23weeks. It sucks. And as a result I have lost alot of respect for the girls I work with but thats for other reasons not to do with that.
Me I am expecting to get a BFP in about 6days  I hope so anyway. I saw the Gyno this week and have blood taken tomorrow and depending on the results he might put me on clomid. He said he wanted to stimulate my cycles before I try IVF to see if it will work. I hope it works but I only have one bad tube so who knows if it will help. But we have decided not to try IVF until late this year now to give this other way a go and see if we can do it on our own over IVF. I am actually feeling positive but not looking forward to my due date next month
-
Sorry gals,
I think i am having series of s***t days...this whole month was a strong storm.
I got to know that my SIL had ectopic pregnancy detected on 2 march,10 when i was crying in pain of my EDD, she is in immense pain of loss (loss of bub and removal of one tube)...i am sorry ladies, i am trying to get over these days.
CraftMummy - Hang in there, you seriously deserve a BFP soon
MurrayCod - its MARCH now...ready for the Harvey. All the best hun. i wish all the luck to u.
Ferrals - Herbal diet and that plan sounds awesome. I am too trying to ristrict my caffeine intake and trying hubby to quit smoke alltogether. I hope that plan works out well for you. i am so happy, you found that chinese doc and now you enlightened all of us, that there are other factors involved in baby making...and diet is most imp and health of sperms and eggs.
IonaMacca, em, cuppy, missk and all new members - sorry for your losses and welcome to our thread.hope u all are doing ok
Anita - how was you day ? and what happened in the court? all the best darl', hope you get a quick fast coustody of kiddo's. and hows are you feeling? thinking of u.
matthew's mum - how are you?
SammyP, Jahzara, how are you lovely gals going? hows health? xox
more more thing MurrayCod - you motivated me to become a cleaning lady and thanks for reminder, i am trying to clean my kitchen.. but i am whinging while doing it...:p making DH insane. he already quoted "you are on rampage, you are thinking about your TTC, you dont even care, whether i hve taken my antibiotics or not" = Mad Gal, but i love your enthusiasm...
sarahrach - all the best for wednesday... 5DPO, good good, excited for you. i am also testing on Wednesday same as you 5DPO.
take care all
will pop in soon
-
Why? Why is it that so many people have to experience this pain and loss? It just isn't fair. All I want is a baby to hold, just one. I used to think 4 would be great, but nine years on I just want one to bring home and love. I don't want to be strong, I just want to be pregnant again and have the baby I longed for so much and have lost. Sometimes I feel like it is almost worse than never having being able to conceive at all, this pain just won;t go.
Ric - :comfort: no need to say sorry
-
Alice: Oh sweetheart, I'm so so sorry, sometimes it just creeps up on you, although this was more of a sledgehammer situation. I'm sorry this happened, I know it feels so unfair. Thinking of you xo
Cuppy: Sorry for the loss of your baby, but welcome to our forum, I hope it brings you some peace.
Ric: Sorry about you SIL, and that it's been a tough month, really hope you get some good news soon!
AFM: Day 35 today, had a tiny tiny bit of spotting, so hoping it's Day 1 again. Can't take much more of this waiting. Thinking of everyone, love!
-
alice-sorry,sending you lots of hugs.I don't think our pain will ever go away completely all we can do is keep going for the little one to come.I beleive when you get your next bfp, part of your bub who had to leave to soon will live on in him/her.May is coming...ric-hope this next month is better for you.Sorry to hear about your sil loss...missk-glad your feeling bit better...cuppy-so sorry youve had to find our corner of the world, hope your next bfp isn't far away.Keep thinking about the success stories after loss, there is a lot of them...hello to everyone

Im soo Disgusted~!!!
We got all the way out there for court and come to find out she also hired her attorney and stopped her free one she was getting.. and had her new lawyer file for conts.. well come to find out we was told they found out she had 2 warrants ( well then go get the kids off of her) and she never walked in the court at all today she set outside in her dads car( the grandmother who has the kids) anyhow there was a Sheriff waiting for her to walk in but her lawyer supposly told her to stay in the car.. were not sure if she knows about the warrants or not..
So the guradian calls me and tell me that they are doing the best they can to get the court hearing started again next week.. they all are fuming over this its bull**** .. I sometimes hate this court systen for kids cause they have the power to do a emergency removal on the kids and have not done so yet.. so its ****ing me off so now we got to wait another whole week if the get a court date for next week! its frustrating..
i need a Stiff drink..lol
So Sorry im i needed to vent..
Sorry for the ones to join us here..
Best of luck to all prating u get a BFP.. =]

New to this - Yeh its horrible. Ive cried everyday since. Looking for answers but just cant find them :( Same here, We want to try again straight away but at the same time i am so scared of it happening again. I never thought it would although my mum and sister have both been through it also.

Crafty-yes this is my 2nd cycle on my gismo im on day 1 as AF turned up yesterday outside of the time i have chosen to press the button but am actually on day 2 i have read a lot of women have success within 3 months but seeing we have toxic DNA (LOL) at the moment our little embies lose there oomph before they can stick so we will concentrate on detoxing and just keep trying and did you read my comment on the 48 year old with her own eggs pregnant you have no problems.
Sunbeam-I will miss my ginger beer sooooo much hope the BT give you some answers.
Welcome cuppy we are a great bunch of gals here and hope you get all the support you need i know i do.

Ferrals: LOL! It's for your baby honey, you'll be fine!
TTCALC: Crap. That sucks. Really hope it works out next week. Stay strong!
Alice: How are you going today? Thinking of you xo
MissK: I know how you feel, there's all this need and fear all wrapped up. I think you just have to live with both, and a lot of support and hope! I found out about 2 of my Aunty's m/c when I had mine, it was nice to know other ppl understood, they still spoke about it sadly, so I dont think it ever really disappears.
AFM: Day 1 today, so that's a relief. I've been crying sooo much lately, I didn't expect this part to be so hard, I just kept thinking I didn't want to be doing this, I wanted Splat back. Day 1 always brings a new start though. I have a good feeling about this month, all systems go!

TTCaLC - that sucks. Sucks for you, sucks for your DH, sucks for the kids. Sounds like a lawyer-fest and that's only ever good for lawyers. If they have warrants why don't they enact them? Sorry, you must be so frustrated and angry. Hope it gets resolved quick smart and you get to bring those children home soon.
New To This - thank you and welcome. I'm sorry for the loss that has brought you here and I hope you'll find support here that you need. Lovely women, every one of them, and they understand. Good luck with the return to work. Will be v. tough having that pg in close quarters but hopefully you'll be on your way again soon and can share in the ups and downs of that wonderful journey. Take care.
Mildez - thank you and I'm sorry you have a cousin due the same day, 'cause even though you love them that would still be tough. I'm a bit shocked about the insensitivity among the midwives and I agree they should have a better understanding. Surely they could do something lovely to celebrate the happy news while respecting and supporting and caring for you and the other midwife who have been through this awful grief and loss? It amazes me frankly how oblivious some people are, how lacking in care for others. The counselor I saw today was talking to me about how little acknowledgment there can be for loosing a baby and she recommended looking into online forums because there was a lot of support there. Lucky for me, I'd already found you all :)
Ric - how are you going?
Kit, MatthewsMum, MissK - thank you x Kit, sorry you have been crying a lot lately - good on you for looking toward a new start and I hope that BFP pounces on you!
Ferrals - if you hold your nose while you drink it does it still taste bad?? The 'juice' our naturopath concocted for us was vile. Think of it this way - the more yuck it is, the more good it must be doing :)
Hello to everyone else - Crafty, SarahRach, Jahazra, Snugglybean, Dory, cuppy, Sunbeam, Iona Macca, SammyP, Kirsten, and anyone missed sorry x
AFM - I had my first session with the counselor today and it was good. She said a few things that have stuck with me - that everything I'm going through is normal (nice to be reminded esp. after yesterday's melt down), that I need to treat myself as if I were my own best friend, and that each grief experience is different because each time we experience one we are different, but that they link to past grief experiences which can make it harder. All wise and reassuring. I'm glad I am going.
Hope the weekend is fine for everyone - no more snow OS and some more sunshine/rain here depending on where you are. Looking forward to some POAS action this week from our testers - good luck everyone xx

Alice-yes we hold our nose and even mix it with pineapple juice and it is still reallllllly bad
