SPF: Awesome news of your rising HCG levels, so happy for you

Ferrals4: I would love to know more about Abbi, looking forward to seeing the link set up.

MatthewsMum: I dont really know much about IVF, but I'm sure the nurses have dealt with heaps of dif situations before, and even if you do have to wait another month, you might have caught the egg

Crafty: Congratulations on 21 yrs! I've been married 1 yr, aint marriage grand!

Sarahrach: First hurdle is done, I'm glad you felt close, it's nice to feel that way after a hard journey.

TTCALC: Good luck for your appt, I LOVED the pics of snow, never seen it IRL, lol. I always seem to do my travelling in Summer. I'm already working out what day to POAS too, but I'll try and hold out as long as I can.

    Murraycod: Redheads rock

Minimatron: I hope things settle down soon!

AFM: I'm on day 13!! It's actually going really quickly, having lots of O pains, I should be grateful things are getting back on track but it hurts! I figure it's just an adjusting thing, although I'm teasing DH with the idea of multiple eggs and quadruplets. He doesn't seem to get the joke though, sigh This may be TMI - given up on air bed, BD'ing on the floor. At least there's carpet.

Ha ha ha ha Kit Faerie: that is brilliant, the BDing on the floor. And I do that too to my DP, I have had shocking O pains this time, and I tell him it could be eggs from both sides and maybe more than one becuase with hormones gone wild, who knows what will happen

Ric: I hope you're feeling better really soon, sounds like a terrible time you've been having with illness.

Matthews mum, I'm sure the nurses have seen everything I wouldn't feel stupid if I were you

Crafty: COngrats, wow - that's impressive 21 years!! Good one!

Ferrals: what a lovely idea to remember Abbi. I bet it will be beautiful.

SarahRach: Ahh the first one....I was scared too but just had to bite the bullet and get back on the horse

minimatron: I lost heaps of hair after I had DS, maybe the same hormones, and I am not sure if I lost hair after M/c, because it's really short now and not so noticeable.

TTTCALC Hope you make it to your doc. fingers crossed all goes well

HELLO everyone else I hope you're all well.

AFM: nothing much to report I think I am about 4 DPO...and officially in the TWW...I had really bad O pains this month that went for 3 days, usually only a couple of hours, hopefully this is just everything settling back down.

Thanks for all your comments on my anniversary I guess its something to be proud of !
    Murraycod
I sent an email to Sarah with all my info can't wait to see what she makes of me !
I do understand what Auzzies call us redheads as 6 of my kids have the same hair as me It was my 13yr old boy coming home last year that told me what they call him ! He was told redheads are a dieing breed ( not in my house he said I am one of 9 kids and 6 of us have redhair ! ) that seemed to shut them up !

So I guess thats why we are so firey and will not take no for an answer not without a fight and nothing will stand in our way us redheads will stick together and all get a BFP real soon !

I have to sit down now and write the dates of my cycles and how long theve been and try to remember I know it was about 7-8 wks before I even had a bleed after my mc and D&C and the hair thing well mine falls out in handsful too so I guess its a hormone thing as my hormones are really up the creak I am forever either really happy or really sad no inbetween ! poor DH when he gets in from work don't know how Im feeling ! keeps him guessing he normally sends me a text during the day to see if im up or down
Guess he deserves a medal putting up with me the last 21yrs,

My present incase your wondering is a little ****er spaniel / cross spoodle pup she is 12wks and ginger and very petite she is lovely just what I wanted ! pic on my album

    Hello everyone,

This is such a long thread...hope it's OK to join? I recognise some names from other threads - Kirsten, Minimatron - hi to you both. TTCALC hello to you too - we have also been trying to conceive for nine long years. Hi to everyone else.

We saw our FS this week for the first time since our mc in January. We had a long discussion and decided we'd try again so I'm back on the DHEA hormones (which DH says make me very irritable - he kept that one to himself!)

I have been told so many times since our mc that it is common to fall pregnant again in the months straight after a mc but as we have this long IVF journey (three months of hormones before we can start the actual cycle) I feel like we'll miss any chance we might have had by having to wait that long but we don't have much choice really.

A bit scared about it all to be honest, which I guess is normal.

Anyway, looking forward to getting to know you all.

    Alice

TTCA: based on those dates - Fertility Friend would say that you'd be fertile for the three days prior to O and on O day. So that reads to me fertile on days 12 to 15.

Can anyone tell me directly after they MC (before you got your first AF) was your cycle the same length? So was the MC almost like CD1 (or similar)? Thanks :-)

    Morning everyone

Welcome Alice sorry you had to join us here but hopefully your journey will be short and we can help you on your way with at least a few giggles !

TTCLC if your ticker is correct then I guess you need to do some more Bdancing ! normally your ticker should start day 1as the date you first started to bleed, on a 29 day cycle normally ovulate around day 15 so Bdance from day 12 to 17 every other day should do it,

As for Af turning up after mc well varieys between different people mine was a D&C and I only had AF 63 days later but I am 44 and you may not be the same some get AF 4 wks after mc so you will have to wait and see Iguess,

Well went to the Drs and after sitting down and working out my cycles since my mc I was shocked to see that I am 28 day one month and then 19 days the next so a bit worried I am comming towards the big M but anyways he is doing a scan to make sure nothing left or Ovarians cysts then I have blood work done next weds when I should be day 14 so will check for ovulation as well as thyroid and iron levels, if they show I still got some eggs left then I will be able to take something to stimulate my ovulation on time if not then I have to face facts that my time is UP ! so have to prepare myself for the possibility that my eggs are finished ! ( Wow thats a real hard one )

Anyways I still have hope my mother didn't do the big M until she was in her 50s so there is still hope however small I will cling to it !

Sorry its a me post but to be honest I am shi****g myself ! that I have one last chance !

craftymummy9 I have often heard that the age your mother went through M is often the same age as her daughters. I think the average is 50-52ish.
Stupid AF arrived for me. On to next month. I booked an appointment to see a FS. Earliest was 28th April so its ages away. Hope to get the ball rolling on IVF if no miracle happens before hand.

craftymummy-my fs said longer cycles were indication of 'm' ,i went from 28 to at least 35 days,so i think your shorter cycles are a really good sign that you've still got time...emmy-sorry af turned up,hope youn can get in to see fs sooner, are you on a waiting list for cancellations

    Hi Guys!

I am new in this thread, was in the TTC thread, but just had an early miscarriage.

I had really heavy bleeding that started about 2 and a half weeks ago, and just assumed it was my first AF since having DS in March last year, as I am still Breastfeeding. Was very exciting because we decided to "officially" start TTC. The bleeding lasted 7 days like a period, then stopped and we had just got to what I thought was ovulation time when I started bleeding again very very heavily. I suddenly had the thought that I could be PG, and sure enough I was. Had a BT to confirm and an ultrasound that showed what could be the remains of a sac..........so now I find myself in here!!

    So, I have some questions....

Can we start TTC straight away from when bleeding stops?
When do I start counting my cycle from??

I am okay, have been a little emotional, but I have a very strong faith and love in God, and am very blessed to have a loving and supportive husband, so I know I will be fine!

Hugs and kisses to everyone in here, I am praying for lots of Baby Dust for everyone!

Matthew's Mum no I didn't ask to be on a waiting list. I thought about it but as I am driving 300kms to see him and then back home I thought it might not give me enough time to get there if I was on a waiting list. I just hope that any follow up appointments don't take that long once I have the first appointment. If so I will see someone else. Maybe I should cancel that appointment and see the younger FS anyway.
Welcome Faithful Mumma sorry you had to join this thread. Welcome once again.

Thanks sweetie i was alittle confused..
When i did this ticker it asked me for the first day of your last menstrual period and i did that and the results is what came up above..

TTCLC if your ticker is correct then I guess you need to do some more Bdancing ! normally your ticker should start day 1as the date you first started to bleed, on a 29 day cycle normally ovulate around day 15 so Bdance from day 12 to 17 every other day should do it
As i said above it asked me for the first day of your last menstrual period so that means the last ticker was wrong then cause it said i was fertile yesterday,.,.
oh and if this is the case i benbding 12,13,14,15,16,and 17th..lol not every other day ..lol i want to make sure i got it..

so what your saying is that i wont be fertile till the 12- to the 17th..

thanks you to soo much cause i get confused 2 these tickers since yr is my first time ever doing them..

Faithful Mumma.... Im soo sorry and i love the attitude your having about all of this Your a strong women..
seems like you went kinda thru what i went thru i had a blighted ovum basiclly the sac grew but not our baby

TTCA: are you 100% you are Oing on day 15 then? That would be my concern that you could guess based on cycle length but unless you do the charting thing (so temping and checking CM) or use OPKs then you can't be 100% sure. The way to cover yourself is to BD at least every second day from about CD 12 - CD 19 (that's worse case scenario having a 10 day luteal phase on a 29 day cycle). I'd also keep a close eye out for EWCM and concentrate efforts when you see it.

Faithful: snap - I was just asking a similar question about cycle timing. From what I understand the duration after you MC can be anything from a normal cycle timing to a few weeks longer.

As for TTC again, my doc said it was fine to go ahead straight away. It was just for timing that they said wait a month - but as I'm charting I can go from date of O. Some do say to wait a month or two - but I'm going with what feels right and medically we are fine to try.

    Hi Ladies !

How are you all - hope you are well.

Welcome to all the new ladies. I am so sorry for your losses. You have definitely come to the right place !

I have been lurking still just not feeling like posting - really struggling - feeling flat. I have managed to keep busy enough so that the TWW isnt really bothering me this time. It could be partly cause i dont feel at all confident this time so i am not getting my hopes up.
Still planning on testing on Valentines day which will put me at 10dpo - IF i 'O'd when i was meant to. Thats my problem - this time round i didnt have the signs and i am thinking that i 'O'd late which is a bummer cause we had such an early cutoff.
Only possible symptoms i have at this stage are - slightly tender boobs - also yesterday- at 6dpo ??- i went to the "ladies room" and wiped and had some blood (pinkish) in with my wee on the loo paper. Then wiped again - dry except for a little smear of blood(red) . TMI - could have been either implantation or my fissure playing up. I am thinking the latter....so thats where i am at...

Thinking of you all - i am trying to pull myself out of this rut but just cant seem to

Take care ladies - i am watching...
