I'm testing on Wednesday. Seeing my best friend that night and if I get a BFP, will be due on her birthday. Fingers crossed for me girls!
Still stalkin, not much talkin though!
Snuggly nice to hear from you will have everything crossed for you let us know ASAP,
Matthews mum hope you sorted out your ivf query not long now till you start your journey we are all moving soon I can feel it in my bones !
Ferrals not far behind me looks like we could be belly buddies good luck with your little gadget ( wonder if I could get a gadget to give me more energy for all this I gotta get done next week ! ) OK so I know what you are thinking but I need the magic liquid to get to the right place ! Just takes so much effort wonder where I can get a syringe and a little straw like they use in IUI ?
DH working long days 12 hrs a day 6 days, in this heat so hes not in the best of moods of late
Just wondering if anyone freaks out at the possibility of being pregnant again.... But at the same time freaks out at he possibility of not being pregnant?
So I'm a little crazy, I know LOL! AF is due Monday & I have no signs either way which is pretty normal for me. I'm worried that I'll lose at soon as AF arrives. I was talking about it with DH last weekend & even thinking about it made me really upset. I don't want AF, I want to be pregnant. Then again I am terrified of being pregnant & the same thing happening all over again.
{sarah} I know what you mean. Totally understand. I desperately want to be pregnant again, but am scared of it at the same time, the thought of having to go through another m/c is terrifying.
Alice how are you?
Faithful mumma: it's so nice when the bleeding goes, such a free and relieved feeling.
Crafty I'm with you on that, sometimes the syringe and straw would be so much easier
Snugglybean: good luck for Wednesday :fingerscrossed:
Elise: 13 weeks!! :O WOW! That has gone fast!
Ferrals: congrats on your RAK
everyone else, I hope you're all well and feeling positive about this month! Let's all go over to the pg threads!!
Sorry for not posting much guys, been busy and a bit sick with a nasty cold. I think I am about 7DPO today, so just waiting and waiting....
Sarah- i am terrified of getting pregnant again although for different reasons it scares me to death knowing that as soon as i see those two lines i will be thinking is this baby effected with SLO or is it normal will i have to end this pregnancy to and i have an agonising 12 weeks wait (we think the tww is bad) to find out but i try to tell myself nature will do what it has to do and it is out of my hands so try not to worry to much my feelings at this time is if it's ment to be it will be.
Snuggly-nice to hear from you i hope this is your month.
Crafty-LOL i know how you feel i work out a schedule in my head for when i am fertile and when we work because DH is on rotating 12hr day & night shifts it is not easy trying to fit some BDing in but i think we are in luck this month im on day 8 of my CBFM but day 9 of cycle and i think i will ov at my normal time this month around day 11-12 all the signs are looking good.
Faithfulmumma-isnt it nice when the witch leaves and you hope to not see her again for at least 9 months.
AFM-I getting excited my CBFM gismo reading says my fertility is now becoming high so i looked at the wee stick test lines and sure enough the LH line is darker and the estrogen line is lighter as is is supose to do when you are comming close to time of ov and my CM is becomming watery to (sorry TMI) so it looks like things are doing what they are supose to do so i plan on BDing every 2nd day as DH is off today and then on day shift mond tue and off wed thur and day shift fri so he can manage at night and sat sun he is on night shift so i can snag him saturday before he goes to work LOL i have my schedule worked out it has to happen this month or next before i turn 36 in April.
Murrycod-Where are you i think i'm going to have to email you if i don't hear from you soon.
Morning to all my other BB ladies hope you have a lovely weekend OH! sorry TTCALC i forgot your up to your eyeballs in snow sorry so you hav a nice bbbrrrrrrrr!!!! cuddly weekend under the doona i will be back later.
Kirsten-i must have been typing away while you posted sorry you are sick but on the plus side you got all your BDing done and now can relax and get better.
Sarah - your post sounds exactly like mine from a few days back. The whole first hurdle of BD knowing what it could lead to was stupidly scary.
I'm totally freaking out that I will get pregnant again and then I'm scared that I'll be scared - does that make sense. I don't want to be freaked out and scared during pregnancy, I want to be calm and happy and not stressed.
What's worse though is thinking that its not going to happen and because I've put off TTC I either won't get pregnant again or DH or myself will decide that we now don't want to do it and go though a possible MC again.
Ugh - but it seems a pretty common thought running through here. I guess with the law of statistics, and all things being equal, we have less of a chance of MC next time as we've already done it this time (at least I'm running with that idea at the moment - its probably the one thing that's keeping me a bit sane).
Sarah I feel the same way. The first hurdle seems to be to get pregnant again but thats only the first hurdle and one that hasn't happened for 6months. Then as soon as that happens I'll be panicking that the pregnancy will be ectopic again and I'll loose my only tube left. Then that doesn't even cover m/c which I have had happen multiple times before. Grrr why can't it be easier. And here I am wanting desperately to be pregnant (for the 7th time, no terminations, 2children) but scared of the outcome. Even IVF doesn't reduce the chances of ectopic or m/c. So I can completely relate to how you are feeling.
snugglybean and anyone else testing soon good luck. Hope there are a run on BFP coming up.
Me I am CD3 another 2weeks until I'll be fertile again. Hopefully the egg comes from the left ovary this time. Maybe that will help
Sarah I hear you ! I feel exactly the same will be worried when I get a BFP and worried if I don't there is no easy answer just something we have to do, but statistically just because you mc before shouldn't mean you will mc carry again next time as its normally 1in 3 ends in mc and for me this seems to be a good indication I have been pg 14 times and have 9 live births and have never mc twice in a row but saying that the older you get the more chance of mc, so I guess its a lottery all the same ! but the main thing is to focus on the end result the healthy pg and baby at the end of it. There is life after mc I can assure you after my 1st mc which was my 2nd pg I was so scared but at the same time I felt so ill with morning sickness that I knew things were different and I did get over the panic by around wk 16 so be strong and have faith thats all you can do !
Ferrals seems your next week is fully booked ! good luck catching that eggie and catching DH ! I think if I don't get it right this month maybe I should think about getting your little gadget ! whats it called again !
Kirsten hope you feel better soon ! at least you got the bdancing done and dusted just relax and wait and see now ( is this it or not ) guess every little twinge will keep you guessing oh how I hate being in the TWW but I am right behind you will be in the TWW next week so can keep you company for a week !
Faithfulmuma well guess its onto the serious stuff now of getting the day right and catching that egg good luck !
Sararach try not to worry nature is wonderful thing and can comprimise even with one tube you still have a very good chance of a BFP my SIL had ectopic in her 1st pg and then went on to have 2 healthy bubs straight away ! don't give up hope ! hope is what keeps us alive and on this road !!!
Today may be the day for a miracle to occur so be patient and be happy and we will all be rewarded soon ! God knows how much we want this and he will reward us all soon !
Ferrals my Darling, thanks for askin about me XXX I'm here !!!XXX
Sorry went MIA for a couple days, I have had the worst 3 days of work, not sick people or anything, just lazy nurses I work with...gggrrrr I swear if I find one more nurse hiding in the pan room on my shift, I will put them through the automatic pan flusher!!
For real though, since I have come back from my 3wks off the place is getting to me more than normal. The catfighting that has built up since i have been away, one girl walked out in the middle of her shift and is now on 'stress leave'.

Take care all XX
Thanks for your warm welcomes. I meant to post last night but got caught up reading back over the thread and learning about your journies here. I'm so sorry for your losses but have to say what a warm and supportive group of women you are - I'm glad I have found you all and hope I can be the same for you.
Murrycod - my brother has a vinyard in Victoria so I know all about harvest time! Yeah, it sucks about my job. Two weeks left to go then...not sure. It wasn't unexpected but I'm feeling quite insecure about being unemployed after all this time. The Blue Mountains are beautiful and maybe I'll get to spend more time here now! I'm taking DHEA for low egg number/poor quality issues. I only have one ovary and she's had many cysts removed so don't have many eggs in there! Poor thing deserves a rest but not just yet!! And DH is right - the DHEA does make me irritable! Been making myself go for long walks and doing some stretches and breathing exercises and snorting lavender oil - anything to settle down! I remember my FS telling me I could have my whole family in the freezer when I first started IVF and had five blasties frozen - I hope one of your snow bubs is a winner for you very soon! x
Kirsten - I didn't realise you lost your little one on your birthday so sorry. I hope your cold goes away soon and your feeling much better. xx
Sarahrach - My friend had an ectopic and lost her tube and has conceived twice since then and has a lovely little girl. Same with my mum - she had all three of us with one tube! It's pretty amazing how our bodies can adjust - there's no way that egg is going to go astray if nature can help it so take heart - I understand you feeling scared xx
Ferrals4 - your gizmo sounds pretty amazing!! I hope this cycle is a winner for you too and congrats on being RAK'd!
EliseLouise - lovely to read about your little pot belly! Wow - 13 weeks - that's wonderful!! Hope all is going well with the August belly buddies and everyone is doing fine.
Think I better get to bed and hopefully sleep! I'll pop in again soon. Hi to everyone and enjoy the rest of the weekend.
Alice x
PS Turned up to the docs yesterday and my appointment is next week! My head really is all over the place atm!!

: spelling!
Didnt test this morning - had such a flat out day yesterday so i didnt get round to buying any tests. Will be doing that today ready for the morning.
If i 'O'd when i was sposed to then i will be 11dpo tomorrow.
I'm not feeling pregnant and i really dont think we caught the eggie this time - i think 'O' was late, like 4 days late which means we missed out by a mile....
So i really am expecting a BFN but i am trying to still think a little positive....
Any BFP's in here today ?
Goodluck to anyone testing and i hope you all have a great day.
Murrycod- is that a challenge bring it on (i better learn how to play mahjong first he he)
Crafty-my gismo is called a clear blue fertiliy monitor it gets to know your cycles and stores 6 months of info on them and reads the LH and E2 hormones to pinpoint your most fertile day's it is suppose to be 99% accurate but getting the sperm to the egg on the right day is only half the battle they need to like each other and get it on then stick so we decided to give it a go so we dont exhaust ourselves BDing all the time and depleting DH stock's (so to speak) and do the deed when the gismo says high fertility and peak we are BDing every 2nd day this month to see if that makes a difference.
Alice-Dont worry i have turned up to work on the wrong day soooo embarrassing!
Jahzara-my fingers are crossed.
AFM-feeling really good about this month so heres hopeing.
Still cold and snowy.. but the snow has stopped but we are looking at getting some more on sunday nite to tuesday morning.. YIPPIE..NOT
I just wanted to stop in and say HAPPY VALENTINES TO YOU ALL!
Afm... I got 3 kiddos and a BIG teddy bear here with me and im still bored..lol
im also going to call the doctor on tuesday since they will be closed for president day on monday ( atleast i think so) but calling to see what she wants to do next since his test came back normal..
I keep he got me i soo want to test tomorrow but i figure its just going to let me down so i thought i would test if i dont start by march 3rd
TTCALoveChild good news that the test came back normal. i would wait till at least 10 dpo to test, i know it's hard though!
ferrals4 glad to see you are feeling good about things this month, and with your fertility monitor you should know when is a good time to dtd, and i think every 2nd day is the best way to go.
Jahzara don't give up hope, i didn't feel pg, and still don't so you're still in with a chance. i'll be looking out for your results tomorrow!
Alice it is comforting being in here, i can't bring myself to stop checking in daily to see how people are getting on. and of course you're head would be all over the place at a time like this, so don't even feel embarrassed one bit!
murraycod stress leave, i want to try that one too! sounds like it's so much fun where you work...
craftymummy9, Kirsten, snugglybean good luck in your tww.
Emmy83 hope that left ovary gets into gear for you, and you get your bfp soon.
{sarah} it's hard wanting to be pg, but being scared of m/c. you will be alright though, just have to try and be strong. i thought i would never get af back with all the bleeding i had, but you just have to wait for your body to deal with things in it's own time.
Faithful Mumma hope you don't have to wait long for your bfp!
ric, how are you?
afm, i got hcg done on wednesday and it was 424, so more than doubling from the 131 i got on the monday. i have dating scan booked for 23rd. i feel bad posting in here now, but thought you might want to know how i am getting on.
also, happy valentine's day to all my bb friends, and good luck this cycle. i can feel some bfps are on their way! for valentines my dh bought me a star so cute.
SPF - hello and I'm sure everyone is v. happy to hear from you! Its the success stories that keep us going don't you think? Please report again soon!
Jahzara - fingers crossed! My SIL said she had no symptoms at all in the first trimester, same with my friend who is 7mnths now and same with one of the women in my August BellyBuddies group so don't give up hope! Looking forward to your BFP news!
Ferrals - yah for the gizmo! I hope this month is the one!!
TTCaLC - baby dust for you too!
Emmy83 - go the lefties! I rely on mine to do all the work too I hope your girl makes you a super good egg this month.
AFM, I went to a party yesterday of some very dear friends and I feel so much better in my spirits today. Yesterday started off bad - lots of big fat wet tears about still not having my AF, not wanting to be doing IVF in winter (it'll be June by the time we get going) and then for getting the days of the week wrong and turning up to the docs on the wrong day. Thought about that last one for a while and started to laugh - poor DH thinks I'm a bit mental but laughed too. That broke the ice and I decided to make a real effort for the party - baked a cake, made a nice card and frocked up and off we went. Well, when we got there, my friend had a big bowl of Chinese fortune cookies on the table. I picked one out and guess what it read? "When winter comes heaven will rain success on you"!!! Showed DH and he was v. amused so it is on our fridge now and will be part of my positive thinking strategy in the months to come. Just had to share that with you!!
PS I got as far as 8 pages on this thread so still catching up but I'll get there!!
Sorry, had a coffee for the first time in about five months to day and boy am I buzzing . Not good!
