OK where do i start ive missed a bit had been doing extra shifts at work but it seems we have a RANGA convention going on in here.
Craftmummy-ok 44 is getting to the end of your fertile period but we have to be honest we all get older and with it the end of our baby making years BUT! as you were pregnant not that long ago it is a good sign you still have eggs left it is the quality of those eggs that can be a problem my FS said women can still have a few eggs left and be well away from the big M but be unable to fall pregnant as the egg quality prevents conception or implantation i am 35 and have a heap of eggs left and my mother didnt go through the big M until 56 the FS said she would expect me to be the same but that doesnt mean i can get pregnant until im 56 my eggs are 35 years old and have taken a beating over the years with all the stupid things we do as youngsters the way the FS put it was out of all the eggs left some will be good others can be no good so i need to wait for the month that a good egg pops and hope we catch it anyway the years leading up to the big M is when FSH levels go up E2 levels go down and eggs diminish and become fragile so it all depends on how those 44 year old eggs have faired over your life some womens do great until 46-47 others start to go down hill in there early 30's but a good test to have is a antral follicle count between day 5 and 9 of your cycle and a FSH test on day 2 or 3 of your cycle that will at least give you an idea of if you still have a good number of eggs left the FSH needs to be 12 or under but they prefer under 10 women have fallen pregnant with levels over 20 but it is very difficult all i can say is i wish i was as fertile as i used to be then maybe i would have another 9 years of baby making left in me and make it to 44 like you but as my FSH levels were on the high end of normal at 8.0, 9.6 and 10.5(they can fluctuate month to month i got a little worried but my FS is not as i had heaps of eggs but i do wonder if maybe my eggs are on walking frames and going grey around the edges but only time will tell and to be honest im s###ing myself to.

Chickybabe oops Jahzara aww thats no good you are feeling flat we all have those days and weeks i hope you feel better soon you must be busy with your 3 boys as i am busy with my 3 god love them they send me batty but i wouldnt have it any other way.
Oh my lord ive just spent 35 minutes trying to type this in between dinner and the washing machine taking off and feeding the dogs but i managed it i bet others have posted while i was typeing sorry if i missed you.
Murrycod- how are you coping with the wait march not to far away now.
AFM-i am on day 6 of my fertility monitor and it asked me to do a wee test this morning and my fertility reading was low at the moment as i expected for day 6 but we BD for the fun of it anyway lol i hope my cycle is back to my normal 28-29 days this month i have switched back to tablet form vitex instead of the liquid thats what i was on when i got pregnant with last time
Thanks so much everyone for your kind words. I think I have just hit the angry/sad/grieving kind of don't know what I am feeling mood tonight, poor DH, I was crying AND laughing at the same time before .

phew thanks Ferrals as always full of good advice ! makes me feel a bit more positive I am having FBE,FSH,LH,Oestrogen,progesterone,TFT,serum bhcg,Iron studies,ESR and CRP whatever all of that means I think he about covered everything ! but the problem is as I don't know if I will have a 28 day or 19 day cycle he will test next weds day 14 and if not good results then again a week later depending on how AF goes if she turns up early again or not. He seemed more worried about the length of bleeding this last time and the fact there were small clots and very painful, I also get a lot of pain on my right side on and off all of the month so he suspects cysts on the right ovary but anyways will have a scan next thurs to see.
Thanks again for your wise words I know I am getting to the end of my years with my eggs but as I have said before if I had not fallen pg last june I guess I would have felt better about the whole business but to get to 12 wks or so and then loose well its just too much I want to be pg again as we all do !
My SIL delivered her baby today a girl and I am pleased for them but feel so flat as my EDD aproaches on March 14th ! still I am feeling as though I will not give up without a fight and thats the ranga in me I guess !
Everyone else hope your feeling ok Ric are you better ? Dory whats happening ? Murraycod march is nearly here ! I think we will all be moving over soon by winter anyways !

Crafty-good to hear your SIL had her baby and all is well i hope you are handling it ok and by the looks of it the doc is covering every thing and seeing your having you FSH level checked mid cycle it will be higher than what it should be on day 2-3 so dont drop your bundle when he tells you the results and i know what you mean i'd be ok with my body getting to old to have kids if we didnt want any more but after Abbi i reallyyyyyyy want to have one more and i know women have babies into there 40's but i think my time is running out not long until im 36 yuk! your EDD is the 14th of march my girls 1st Bday is the 20th so we can be sad together and get through it together we can do it you will see hang in there my ranga sister.
AFM-day 7 of my CBFM another wee stick reading still low fertility i dont expect it to read high until at least day 10-11 anyway gotta go drive my ferrals to school be back later i have the day off.

Crafty and Ferrals - I'll be thinking of you both as your EDDs approach. So sorry you have both lost these little ones - doesn't matter how many children you have, your babies will always be missed. I completely agree Crafty with how you feel - that if it had happened again you wouldn't have wanted it soo badly now. I was fully expecting our last go at IVF to be another disappointment and we'd decided that it was our last go. BIG surprise to get a BFP and I loved being pregnant and thinking about that little one and just want her back. Also wanted to say my husband is one of 11 kids so his family are teeming with children! I love his enormous family and they all get on so well. We'd always hoped to have at least four LOL but hell we've got chickens instead
Ferrals - I'd love a natural surprise but sadly I don't have any tubes to get one...thus the IVF

Sarahrach - yes, I've been told the same thing about TTC after a mc - seems there is general advice about waiting a few months but most of my friends who have had a mc got back to trying straight away, and they all fell pregnant naturally within a few months.
AFM, I'm really confused about when my AF will come. It's four weeks today since I had the D&C and still nothing. I had spotting for two and a half weeks afterwards that got a little heavier after about a week but nothing like a period. Wish it would come so I could get some sort of bearing of where my cycle is up to. Seeing a lovely GP today at the Womens Health Center who I'd booked when I was pg then ended up seeing after the mc. She was so understanding and reassuring. Glad to be going again today as after loosing my job this week I'm feeling pretty down in the dumps.

Faithful: yep, I did the same thing with DH, one minute happy, the next snapping his head off. Luckily he put up with it and it passed within a week - so twas not too unbearable for him hopefully. I said some pretty mean things too. DH's are pretty resiliant!
Sarahrach- I am glad I am not the only one then! Feeling better today, I think I just needed to get it out of my system. I am supposed to be going to a Latin Dance night tonight to learn how to dance with friends, and although I don't really feel like going, I think I will anyway, it will be good for me I think!!

Crafty-the duggers (on foxtel )just had there 19 baby even though she was born at 25 weeks the mum is 43 turning 44 and they don't use contreception and will keep having them until her body has had enough so you will be fine one more makes 10.
p.s i just wan't one more i'm not greedy just one please.
Oh! and i worked out what the lines on my CBFM test sticks mean (even though the machine reads them i wanted to know) there are two blue lines that come up one real dark and one real faint i was worried that my LH level was still to high but as it turns out the real faint line is the LH hormone and it gets darker as i approach OV and the other line is the estrogen and that starts off dark and gets lighter as the estrogen rises so my LH was faint and the estrogen was dark as it should be so looks like so far cross fingers my hormones are doing the right thing

AFM: Day 15 and all is well. I *think* I ovulated yesterday. I dont temp, but all signs pointed to impending O, so now I have to wait and see if they go away, so I know I O'd. Still gonna BD every 2 days until Day 20 or something like that, just in case. Looking at beds on e-bay, have escaped carpet burn so far, lol. It's so strange to be excited and scared about the possibility of getting preg. DH got a job offer at a school, and we're looking at an apartment tomorrow, so things are coming together. Trying not to think about the future too much (especially the 2 weeks kind of future) and just enjoying day 15.
Well ferrals I just read about the duggars on the news if she can do it then so can I ok so I have had 14 pregnancies in the last 24yrs but hey she has one evey year and is only a year younger than me ! so I am soooo going to do this again I just know very soon we will be moving over to the Belly buddies ! with our new avys ! can't wait to see how they turn out !
Well been out and bought my new neice a few outfits they are over in the UK so I won't get to see her but I just wanted to get something not their fault I miscarried but it does make me feel sad when the last time I spoke to them she was 16wks pg and I was 12wks but hey I have to get over it I have done it before and I will do it again !
Yay for your new gadget seems really good I went and bought some more OPKs today as I am on day 10 and am hopefull I will ovulate in the next 4 days just don't know which day ! Question for you If you were me and off for blood tests next wed day 14 of my cycle would you carry on taking the vitex I tablet a day or stop so as not in your system when they do the blood work ? not sure if they will give a false reading or not

Crafty-i was still taking it right through out my ivf and it made no diference to all my blood tests and hormones if you remember my 1st cycle it was cancelled because of high E2 after i was told to stop all the herbal stuff i was cranky that i stopped so i went back on vitex and it balanced out my E2 and progesterone levels to normal and i got to start the next cycle some FS want you to stop any herbal stuff and some are happy for you to continue i know of a lot of ladies on BB threads that still take there herbal goodies and it does not cause any problems it helps keep that horrid FSH level down so i have read on many sites and i am on day 7 just behind you.
Kitfaerie-why not BDing is fun and good exercise and every 2nd day ensures you dont miss that egg.
Jahzara-lets hope implantation is happening as we type fingers crossed for you.
AFM-nothing can ruin my day today thanks to my secret RAK'er even when my son came home from high school and told me someone stole his school shirt out of his bag while he was doing sport normally the ranga would come out in me and id be at the school doing my block (they have no lockers and the same thing happened to my older son in year 7)but i was ok never mind i will buy you a new one on monday.
HE HE yeh right i will be at the school monday morning knocking on the principles door demanding a replacement.
Craftmummy & Ric thanx for asking about me. Im doing really well, nearly 13 weeks and starting to get a little bit of a potbelly but down very low. I know the weight loss was a bit pointless but at least i looked & felt better in my sis's wedding
