Anilla how annoying about the doctor telling you theres nothing they can do and to just go home and wait. Drs can be so insensitive sometimes especially when they havent gone through it themselves. Hopefully things settle down for you and you get that long sort after BFP very soon.
Thank you so much hun, it was like he dismissed every suggestion i had and said u have no problems with fertility u have kids already.
Well i have never had spotting mid cycles before so something has changed.
So i will opk this month nad see if i am oing.

Josh's Mum - That's fantastic news! I am really pleased for you.

AFM It looks as this is not going to be our month. I had high hopes because I ovulated early this time and late ovulation had been the problem before my miscarriage. Today I have had terrible period like cramps so I would say not only that AF is one the way but it will be here very early. My cycle is still up the creek.

Hello ladies. I hope you are all doing well! I have had a tough day. I finally started to miscarry last night, about 4 and a half weeks after my angel passed away. I was bleeding very heavily, passing a lot of tissue and clots, and had such bad cramping that I could barely move. I started feeling light headed and thought I had a fever, so DH and I went to the ER to make sure everything was alright. About 20 minutes after we got there, I passed the placenta. I was devastated because I had wanted to keep it to bury it and had been waiting about 5 hours for it to pass, and it didn't happen until I arrived at the hospital and I just didn't know what to do. I feel so so guilty about it. I tried to deal with the emotional pain of it the best I could, and I figured the worst of the physical pain was probably over, but we ended up being there for over three hours. The ultrasound showed that everything had passed. I'm thankful for that because I really did not want a D&C. The fact that I am incredibly sleep deprived isn't helping me cope with the situation though. I miss my angel so very much. My OB said we could start trying again right away if we want to. That's what we plan to do, because the thought of getting pregnant again is the only thing that gets me through each day. I'm just terrified now that I have had two. After my first m/c, I was convinced it would never happen again, and once I got pregnant again, everything would be fine. I'm going to see my OB again early next week to find out when we can start getting some testing. She said there was nothing they could do until after the miscarriage was complete. We'll see what happens I guess.

Sorry for venting ladies. I just needed to let out all my feelings. I feel like the healing can finally begin now that the process is over. Hopefully the bleeding won't last too long and my hcg levels return to zero. Well, I hope you all are well. Have a lovely day!

Hannah- I so sympathise with you. I am glad you got to m/c naturally as you chose and did not need an d&c. I remember the pain, it is excruciating. I was the same and felt that my second pg would go perfectly it was such a shock to m/c again. All I can suggest is to take care of your self, rest and don't expect too much of your self through this time. I hope you heal physically and emotional soon so that you get the sticky bundle you long for.

Anila-get a second opinion, your dr. sounds completely careless. I would not stop until I had an answer if I was you.

Anila: I am with Sunbeam...I did and look what happened! Get a refferal to a gynae!! Stoopid doctor!

Hannah: we're here for you through the journey hun. So happy that you could pass naturally and have that time with your angel baby. Get him/her to look after our angel baby for us? And pass on that we said to stop eating too many lollies!
We will hold your hand. I know exactly how you feel re: wanting to be pregnant again. We felt the same way but at the same time I was scared to bd when it was time.
Hope you feel better soon hon xxxxxxx

After my euphoric day yesterday when AF came, I got cranky last night not being able to sleep soundly in case of "leakage" I now remember how my AF used to be...started off light-medium, and got heavier over night then medium then eased off from there.

OH! Another thing!!!! As murphy's law would have it, DH is away on CD12,13,14 We can BD on cd 12 & 14 but I know that Ill probably ovulate on CD13...knowing my luck! Hoping that I ovulate on CD12 or 14 or even 15!! Anyone have thoughts on whether I would be able to catch it if this is the case?

Also, everyone that has written about their experience with a lap/dye studies have said they got heaps of EWCM after it so hoping I do to because I then it will nourish the spermies longer! Also I had my FIRST EVER EWCM the day before the Op so Im feeling optimistic...DH said dont go expecting anything, which struck a nerve with me...because I know he is right. Im feeling too good about it all!

    Morning

Anila-=- in agreeance with everyone here -- ur doc sounds like he wants u in and out for a quick paycheck. go see someone else darl.

Hannah -=- Sorry ur going through such a rough time atm.. Im glad u didnt end up needing a d&c.. I always felt that having that done for my m/c's felt so invasive and violating to my baby angels.. and its nice to know ure lil angel had the time to pass naturally. I hope you start to feel better soon.. maybe you'll be able to land a BFP soon and you can start to heal with the knowledge of a new little life growing to meet you..

SammyP: sorry to hear AF is on the way.. but dnt forget.. its not over till the Red Aunty shows. Fingers crossed eh..

coco-=- good luck this month !! Im not sure how true it is but ive heard a few times that lil swimmers can survive a few days so i guess i would just go hard out as much as u can b4 hand just incase Good luck with a BFP this month anyway!

AFM -=- Havin a nice pj day at home (i have alot of those eh) Boo is playing with the puppy makeing a right mess hehe but i dnt mind, im just happy to be here with him.. Out of the 3 pgs iv had hes the lil miracle that made it against all odds! I had a big bleed at 6 weeks with him and thought it was all over, then at 4 months i spent a month in hospital with double pnemonia and was told not to "keep my hopes up" for him, then at 6 and a half months fell into early labour and was told i had a 70% chance of getting him through the first few weeks of life.. Then it stopped by itself..

Yet through everything here he is 2 and a half and i keep telling myself I need to appreciate that.. I get so worried about loseing him because he's all i have.. he has EB that flares up and he gets covered in blisters or falls over and loses all the skin off his knee caps or elbows, and still manages to be a confident lil man that takes on everything any other child his age would be able to do..

I dont know why Im ranting about that.. it just makes me feel better to rant sometimes.. I really do hope you all get a BFP each soon and go on to have special lil bundles that will make you feel so scared, because theres nothing like having so much to lose i guess.

Im going to the movies and dinner tonight with my gf.. so im lookig forward to getting out of the house..

Hope u are all doing well sweet virtual friends, and gud luck this month! Lets refuse to lose another angel! <3 Kyra

Hannah hon come over here so I can give you a big hug I am so sorry about your experience last night I was the same, after my 1st mc I thought that I would get pregnant again and it (miscarriage) would never happen again. I still can't really believe that I had another one... But there are many woman who have have multiple miscarriages and then go on to have healthy bubs so we would both benefit from focusing on those positive thoughts rather than the negative ones I think I will find that pretty challenging when I do get another BFP but I will try to remind myself every minute.... I'm glad the U/S showed that all the tissue had passed and you can now start looking forward to your cycle getting back to normal and getting another bfp

AFM my temp is still high today... I am getting acupuncture on Monday so that will hopefuly sort me out, then I can't wait for af and to ovulate and ttc again... Some exciting news (for me anyway) all the spotting has gone and I have SCM today so hopefully that will turn creamy, watery, EW and I will ovulate and I will know that my body is back to normal! After 50 days of bleeding & spotting and then to end up with a D&C last Friday I am glad that after a grand total of 56 days of crap my body is back to normal! So yeah, for me that is celebration worthy I also can't wait to call the OB next week to get the results from the tests he took and I hope they are all clear which will also help to ease any anxiety I may have when I get another BFP...

    to everyone else

    morning ladie's

Hannah-sorry to hear it took so long for you to m/c but it is good that your body took care of it natrually.

Anila-if your not happy with your doc keep pushing for answer's until you get one i rang around until i found what i needed then went to my doc and said i want a referral to this doctor thank's and i couldn't be reasoned with because i went in with a plan and got what i went there for.

Coco-sperm can live for 3 day's so day 12 and 14 and before and after those day's would be fine don't panic.

AFM-well i'm in a spot of bother as my DH has been home for 3 day's iv'e had my way with him since kid's are back at school my problem is i'm not supose to ov until tuesday but for some reason i feel really fertile and very toey so i thought i'd do a opk test and it was very pos the test line is so dark it's not funny so i waited 2 hour's and had 2 decafe's and a big glass of water and did another one and it was as dark as the first i'm on day 11 of my cycle and i usually ov on day 15 so we play it safe from day 11 but we dtd yesterday and today if i ov in the next 36 hrs it's early there could be swimmer's still in there if i get pregnant that put's our ivf off s##T!!!!! why is it when you want to get pregnant everything seem's so difficult and when we try not to this happen's DH said if it happen's it's ment to be and baby might be ok but now i have a stressful TWW

    Hi Everyone,

Not sure if any of you remember me as I haven't posted in some time, but have been lurking again lately and have had a lot going on and just felt like you girls could help me through the next stage. that sounds a bit selfish doesn't it? sorry and if you want to ignore me that's fine - i understand.

can i tell you what's been happening?

Had some mid cycle spotting, went to gp, ultrasound ordered and they found a large endometrial polyp. have had to wait 4 weeks to get in to a gyn to get it looked at and removed. so waiting, waiting, waiting. last week was rushed to emergency with appendicitis, took them 24hrs to finalise the diagnosis and finally had it removed laproscopically, so have had to handball ds around as i can't pick him up and miss him being at home terribly. went to the gyn yesterday and am booked in for a hysteroscopy, polypectomy and d&c on monday as he seems to think it may be all as a result of the m/c. I've tried to avoid having a d&c but I think it's time to finally bite the bullet and make sure once and for all that everything is clear and ready to go so i don't have to have any lingering thoughts in the back of my head that something is in there causing problems.

    Here's my concerns:
AF will be due the week after the d&c. I know I'll bleed for a few days from the d&c but should i expect that my period would come as normal after that? would there be anything left to bleed with?

with any of your experiences of d&c's does it stuff your cycle up? did you resume a normal cycle straight after?

does anyone know of success stories of bfp's straight after a d&c (he reckons i can start trying again straight away, no need to wait)

I'm sorry this post is all about me after not even being in here for so long. I'm just so confused at the moment and need some real life experience stories.

    thanks heaps and sorry again

Hi JulesWA...sometimes we need an 'all about me' post, there is nothing wrong with that

I had a d&c with my 2nd mc and found that everything was alot better. I had minor bleeding for a few days, I think it was about a week but very light and then my cycle went back to 30days from then.
I don't know if because AF is due a week later that you would have AF, there would be no tissue/blood for AF. i would ask your doc but to my knowledge the d&c kind of is like a reset button.
I have my fingers crossed that it goes well for you and fixes things up for you to get that sticky bundle.

Maddison: Thanks for that info, spoke to db about it and he is keen for me to get into it, not quite ready to expend the necessary money so will start getting stuff out of store at discounted prices to get rid of quick then will get in all the rest

Ferrals: I don't know which way to cross my fingers for you I kind of hope you have a sticky bundle there - a beautiful healthy bub to be born in about 40wks but I don't want to wish the stress on you. Keep us posted!

AFM: I had our garage sale today at the store with a heap of people (locals) coming in and saying 'oh, we didn't know you were here'. I hate hearing that lol. I have the lingerie party with a grand total of about 3 girls turning up...lucky it is also a bbq or I'd be unimpressed, but still have my fingers crossed to get some stuff out there and sold.
Have a great weekend all...it has been very quiet since yesterday.

hello all, its very quite in here at the moment. Hope evryone is doing well and enjoying their weekend.
Hello juleswa yes i remember you from when you were in last. That is terrible about all the things you are having done but hopefully it can get you back on track with ttc and getting your BFP. I too had a D&C after my mc and didnt get af untill about 3 or 4 weeks later. It was very very light almost just like spotting and i was quite concerned but the doc said that it is generally like that because all the tissue and everything had been removed. As for cycle going back to normal im not too sure because its only been about a week since last af. I dont know anyone personally who has got a BFP straight away after d&c but lots of people have told me that it generally happens fairly quickly because its like a fresh start. Hope that helps to reassure you a little and will be thinking of you on monday, hope all goes well
Tina good luck with the lingerie party and the bbq hope all goes well with that and you make some lovely sales
Ferals that sounds like a sticky situation, it must be hard trying not to conceive when you are so used to trying to. Hopefully things will turn out ok but make sure you keep us posted, thinking of you luv
AFM not too much happening here, just waiting for ovulation time, not that i temp or use opks at all so were just BDing as much as possible which has been quite easy as weve both been on holidays all week
Played netball this morning, had another win, which was great kept us on top of the ladder and in a good position coming up to finals. Just relaxing now watching some tv and maybe out for tea later on.
Hello to everyone else i missed and i will TTYL

well i'm ovulating today i can feel it on my right side so i'm 3 day's early DH said if the swimmer's are still there from yesterday and they find the egg it's ment to be and we will just see what happen's if it is an effected baby it will only put our ivf back a month so i guess if it's ment to be it's ment to be i will just have to wait but if i'm not pregnant we will be using condom's until our ivf (YUK!!!) to be safe as the month i fell pregnant with abbi i ovulated early and i very rarely ovulate early women's bodie's are such a pain in the #### anyway sorry to winge.

Juleswa-I remember you but i'm not much help i have had a D&C years ago and my cycle went back to normal right away.

    hello ladies,

So it has been a couple of days since my last post, but I have definitely been reading (I think I am a little addicted to this forum thing now).

Sunbeam: Thanks hun for forcing me to test earlier than I was planning.

Anila: I would definitely find another Dr- he sounds like a bit of an idiot, being so dismissive of something that is so important to you. There is no harm in having some non-invasise tests done. Maybe some bt to check hormone levels and a pelvic US or something- at least then you know exactly what you are dealing with.

Kyrawolfe: Your time will come again, every pregnancy is different (so I keep being told) but while you are waiting for your next bfp enjoy every minute with your gorgeous little man. What does EB stand for?

JulesWA: with my D&C it just seemed to reset my cycle. I had some bleeding for 5 days or so after the D&C, then nothing for 5 weeks. Then it appeared that AF started again from there.

Ferals: Hopefully everything will work out for the best. Is there any testing they can do if you do get pg on your own to ease your mind?

Hannah: Prior to my D&C I started to bleed quite heavily (I think I did most of the work for the ob before my D&C), it was so painful I had fever and was vomitting from it. For me I still felt pregnant until my first AF after the D&C. My thoughts are with you. They (Dr's) do tell you that you are generally most fertile the first 3 months after a D&C.

EliseLouise: What posi do you play in nettie? I am a little bit of a fan of the game and play 3 times a week. The season for us is over now for a couple more weeks and I am trying to figure out how to get out of playing next season. I don't think it is worth the risk this time around. Although with my 1st pg I played until 14 weeks and that was fine. Was playing up until my mc last time, but my club knew I was pg- made it a little uncomfortable. Hoping not to tell people to early this time.

Tina: Seems as though things can only get better for you. Best of luck with your lingerie party, hope its awesome and you get loads of sales.

Coco: I think it is fine to be optimistic. You had a problem, they found it and fixed it. There is no reason for you not to get a BFP very soon.

Cherished: Good luck for your test results! Glad to hear that things are on the improve.

    CatKat: Any news?

AFM: Feeling ok, very nervous. My boobs are massive, lower back is sore and I stilll feel a bit premenstrual, all of which is normal but still very concerning. Went to my chinese dr on Friday, she was great. Is going to see me every 10 days of so for acupuncture etc. Until my 1st trimester is up, I can see that it will take ages for these next 9 weeks to pass. Seeing my Dr on Monday, to get referral for my ob. I don't think that she is going to believe it either. I treated a pg friend to day spa yesterday, it was gorgeous, although they advised me not to get the massage that I had booked in for because of the risk in the 1st trimester, so she got a massage and I had to get a pedi. We then went to the movies- Gold Class to see My Sisters Keeper. I cried from start to finish. Beautiful day, but now I have all my Friday housework to catch up on today. DH has decided he would like a roast for dinner so I guess I better get started.

Thanks all for your well wishes, hello to anyone I might have missed in my persies.

Joshsmum i play mainly GK sometimes GD & WD but GK is what i have always played. I know what you mean about being addicted. In previous years i have played saturday comp plus played a couple of nights a week and training through the week but this year it has been a bit hard with work ( i do shift work) so ive just stuck to saturday comp and ive loved it (think it helps that we have only lost 2 games all year and are 2 games clear on top of the ladder so thats very exciting)
I to was playing when i had the mc and even though my doc said its fine too play up to 12 weeks i always wonder whether if i hadnt of been playing it might not of happened, but who knows. Hopefully i will already be pg by the time next season starts and then i will have a reason to not start the season at all and ill just be there cheer squad
I noticed you said about the massage and how it is a risk in the first trimester, i never knew that but its handy to know coz i quite often treat myself to a lovely massage
Anyway better get going and get ready to go out for tea with the inlaws. Good luck with everything and enjoy every precious moment (even the dreaded morning sickness) Make sure you still pop in and let us know how everything is going coz its great to hear the progress and gives us all hope.
Oh and by the way i love your ticker, sooo cute

Eliselouise: I also play in circle defence, although it depends on what competition I am playing in. I have been playing Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays in Melbourne at the State Netball and Hockey Centre. Sometimes on a thursday night I will play WA or C as well as WD, but usually I am a GK or GD, we have alot of defenders in our team and the competition on a Thursday isn't as strong as the other nights. We didn't make finals on a Monday and Thursday so that season is over until August. I don't know what I am going to tell the club as I don't think I should really be playing and not ready to share my news.

Where do you live? Is it country Vic? Who do you play with? (20 questions I know) I grew up playing in the footy/netball comps on a Saturday I loved it. Unfortunately they don't have anything like that here in Melbourne. There is talk of us moving to Geelong, so perhaps if I am not too old (and hung up my ankle braces) I might join a club. It was hard returning to playing after DS so if all goes well this time I might not return. I never used to get exhausted playing but it takes a while to get your nettie fitness back.

Anyway, heres hoping that you are able to give the nettie away soon (you know what I mean). Enjoy your dinner with the inlaws.

Rest assured I will be lurking as I am not comfortable about leaving you all just yet.
